I'm wondering because I haven't seen any online, but I've read about one called "Project Artemis." Are there any others that have been released?

i don't know and i really have no interest in homebrew cheat devices, i found that the retail ones are good enough.

The only Homebrew stuff I've heard about is for the Wii, in the form of the Homebrew Channel. I've heard nothing about stuff for the PS2, although I agree with Evil, the Retail ones do the job.

What is Homebrew anyway? I've only heard of it for the Nintendo Wii. But what is it?

Homebrew in this sense is basically a cheating/hacking system not developed by a largescale company, such as Datel. These things are usually available for free over the internet, due to this. They do however mostly require some form of external support, either through USB or SD cards. The Homebrew Channel on the Wii is currently the only way to truly hack into the Wii and perform things similar to the Action Replay. Problem is Nintendo has wised up to this and with all new updates, the homebrew gets erased.

For example, Jaden, I use Homebrew for texture hacking in SSBB. It basically means I can swap the regualar skins on... say Ike,to a custom texture to make him look like Squall/Leon from FFVIII. And that's only one thing with the Wii's homebrew.

These things aren't illegal, in case anyone's wondering. Companies are usually against this due to possible uses in pirating games (which it can be used for, through emulators and such), which is illegal.

This is all based on my knowledge of the Wii's Homebrew, due to my own useage of it.
