kh2 all the way i played that game like a million times....in fact i played it so many times i went through a disk and it overheated my ps2 like 10 times

Story-wise, I really think that Chain of Memories was incredible. The addition of Reverse/Rebirth made the game in my opinion; the scene after Riku defeats Lexeaus and Naminé poses as Kairi to help Riku embrace the dark, yet retain his light, is one of my all-time favorites. The gameplay however was horrible and often irritating. Gameplay-wise, definitely KHII. Reaction Commands and Drive Forms made the game fun, but the story left something to be desired. Through the whole game it didn't seem like Sora had much direction. At first it was "I'll find Riku!" but then he randomly decided to declare war on the Organization. It was just a bit... strange.

Overall though, KHI. It was the first, and (in my opinion) has the perfect balance of gameplay and story.

I Loved all of them. I still play them all, but my favorite is KH2FM because it's fun and has a bunch of options such as data battles and theater mode so you don't get bored of playing or start a new adventure every time you beat it.

Sorry to break the KH2 chain... but my favorite was COM... It had the perfect story... along with Reverse Rebirth which let you play as Riku (Yes!!!).

I prefered Kingdom Hearts II because of the storyline and the character developement. Plus the card tecnhique was a pain at times.

Yeah, I liked KH:CoM the most as well. Although I dislike Riku... My DS was stolen with the game in it before I had the chance to play Reverse\Rebirth.

I loved the storyline in Chain of Memories, mainly because it focused on both Sora and Riku in their own separate stories.
I didn't care for the card system at all, and hated the whole concept of it, so the game play wasn't too exciting.

Kingdom Hearts II had the best game play because of drive forms, limits and such even though the game was quite easy.
Sora did seem to get off track of the main focus a lot though and if it weren't for Donald and Goofy he would have probably had no solid storyline at all.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories for the storyline and clarfication that it gave us between KH1 and KH2, although I didn't really like the card-system, I did enjoy the double-story that it gave and I enjoyed playing Riku.

Kingdom Hearts II because of the forms and new abilities/keyblades, also because of the Organization (Axel specifically ;D)

KH1: Suprisingly, the only part that was easy was the last battle, I flew through him.
KH CoM: The card thing is stupid.
KH2: Easy, pretty much hack and slash for me.

Regular CoM. The card system was a new twist to me, and KH2 is too easy so it's really boring, unless you have GameShark/CodeBreaker. KH1 is really hard so I don't play it much. Plus, Re:CoM sucks, it's slower than CoM and, just because it's 3D everyone thinks it's so much better. Re:CoM is only good for Zexion and that's it. CoM > KH1, way over 2, so far above Re:CoM.

KH2, because, Sora, is so much powerful, more complex interactions with characters, and the storyline is just epic. Of course, they also have data battles.

My favorite would definitely be KH2, I loved the storyline, the new characters, and how everything was set up. Using triangle for those specials at certain times (instead of having to move down the bottom of the actions list like in KH) helps out a lot. :)
I'm not a huge fan of CoM because I didn't like the whole card thing, it makes fighting too complicated (whatever happened to just swinging the keyblade like a maniac?) The story is still pretty cool, though. :bounce:
Kingdom Hearts was a great game, perfect for an introduction to a fantastic series, but KH2 was a definite improvement.

CoM is it's own monster in this case. Love it or hate it, it's hard to compare directly with the other two. I was never a huge fan of the CoM gameplay. It's definately unique and well made for the concept, I just never really liked the concept.

As for the other two my vote goes to KH1. KH1 was full of easter eggs and puzzles and was fairly difficult (if you don't go leveling anywhere); where as KH2 was very easy, linear, thoughtless gameplay.

It's easily KH1, it was miles better then the slighty disappointing sequel.

While KH2 had its moments, KH1 was a fantastic game from start to finish, while there were several annoying factors in KH2 that I just couldn't overlook.

COM: ... This is just so people who don't have a PS2 but have a gameboy can see the KH worlds with some random characters...
KH2: Yeahhhhhhhhhh! Every character is reprised beautifuly in this game! and I can now see the point in COM!

KH2 for sure. it had the introduction of roxas, reaction commands, the members of Org. XIII that WEREN'T in CoM and the best gameplay by far. i play it more often than any other Kh game... except Days, but only cuz its portable and i wanna unlock sora for mission mode.
