KH-Vids User Awards 2009

It's that time of year again! We'll be reusing this section for the KH-Vids User Awards 2009, I just have to get an admin to change the title.

So I know that many of you were upset with the amount of categories for last year. I've taken categories from the past two user awards and added a few myself, so now there are 54 categories for you to nominate, vote for, and potentially win!

This is merely an announcement thread for you all to celebrate in. I'll be posting a thread with the categories shortly, which will be left open for you to request new categories to be added. This is no guarantee that they will be added, but I will read them all.

Anyways, I has a question~

I assume that when nominations open up, we won't be allowed to nominate ourselves. However, does it count as nominating yourself if you nominate a thread you made, or if you nominate a couple your a part of?

More specifically, would I get in trouble for nominating the Cookie Castle as best thread and ASxDF as cutest couple (for cereal)?

I think nominating your own thread is okay (though others might frown upon it), but the couple thing I'd say no for.

No. There's nothing totally wrong with it, but it's kind of conceited. :/ There are a few exceptions, and I will tell you guys when there are.

I mean when i was going for msot knowledgable of KH i voted repliku and repliku voted me. Remember some of the admins can see who made the votes. they are always watching lol

Um, no, with public polls, anyone can see who voted for what. Even normal members.

Starting with the polls from the second cycle of voting, you MAY NOT vote for yourself unless I say it's alright. Anyone who chooses to vote for themselves in cycle 2 will be disqualified from that category.

I added all this to the rules thread, so there are no excuses.
