anyone here make wood swords

i have made a lot of wood one swords

sure dont. but i made a battle axe, scythe, and training boken all out of steel last semester...
i find that wood breaks to easily during fabrication... so does aliminum(or rather, it mangles all to hell...)

Use pipes from an old bike or exercising equipment. They make good sword. All mine are claymores. Woooden swords only if it's a hard wood and I tend to mae them for show.

Once, made a shield with it as well. The sword broke after two years and the shield disappeared. I think I was 9 when I made it. Both where made of wood and now I just own an ornimental short sword that I found and a wooden katana that I bought from Polish people on a seaside holiday for £12, worth it.

Do you mean the wooden swords on KH? If so, then I plan to make one soon with my father's help. :)

This. I don't have the time nor patience to make any swords right now. I collect them instead from a couple of catalogs and some stores in the area.
