How to make sigs with CS2

Hello everybody! I'm a complete n00b asking for help on how to make a basic sig using Photoshop CS2. I just like, bought and installed CS2 today and have completely NO idea how to use it. Help...now...please???

Have you used any other photoshop program? What do you want to do? [I know making a sig, but what type, color, etc.]

The best thing to do is to fool around with stuff, and see what works and what doesn't.
