Indeed, it would of made less friend biased votes and since alot of people don't know too many RPers, like i've never really heard of *TwilightNight* so I couldn't vote for that person as I had no idea of there capabilities XD

RPing samples would be good but it doesn't tell you how active certain RPers are(and that's something that matters a lot). Like Twilightnight was practically "gone" a LONG time. I remember when RPing was so much more fun last year...>->

This is true...we should get confirmation if a person has been active in the year, if not, then they shouldn't get nominated(this is a side note) I mean...it's a yearly thing, so the people who excel that particular year should be nominated.

And a sample of their work presented, so there's less biased voting.

This is probably what we should aim for next year, as I found it difficult to vote as I hardly see Fayt or Archblahblah* around, as I'm in different rps to them. I would like to see their work, however.

Yeah, next year we should make it a much more fair contest. Where people who are inactive can't be nominated and there are examples of the nominees work so those who don't go in the same RPs as them can see what they do otherwise it'd just be a popularity contest (like it usually is) where only friends vote each other.
