Story: When Yuna, Rikku, and Paine walked down the road to the Farplace, they ended in a world known as Gaia. They joined up with the soldiers of Alexandria and were assigned to protect Princess Garnet til Alexandros. A meeting with Zidane Tribal sends Yuna along the path of adventure to find Tidus.

Garnet woke up from the strange dream she had. As she rubbed her eyes, her four guards came. Yuna, Rikku, and Paine looked at the masked soldier who walked up to her.


Vivi and his unknown companion had just entered the town of Alexandria. His companion wore a cloak.

OOC: Since Marcus, Blank and Cinna and Baku aren't in teh characte rlist, I'd have to guess I'm them lol

Zidane walked down a dark corridor with his blonde tail swaying from side to side naturally with his two daggers sleathed as he opened up a door notice it was way too dark to see.

"Sure is dark...guess nobody's here yet..." He mumbled to himself

He put a gloved hand into one of his free pockets and lit a match as he use dteh light from it to find a candle ona table in the middle of the room and he lit as the whole room was brighter and he heard a voice from within the room.

"Who's there!?" It asked him

Zidane turned his head aroudn to a door and called out to teh voice. "It's me! Zidane!"

Three men came out in response, one with red hair with belt around his eyes, one with a bandana covering most of his eyes as well and one carried a hammer as the red haired one spoke.

"Hey Zidane! You sure are late!"

"Sorry Blank, so, where's the boss Cinna?" Zidane asked his fellow brother and he answered. "Not here yet!"

The four men heard footsteps coming and a man with a dragon head jumped down and roared as Zidane whipped out his daggers as Marcus and Blank readied their swords and Cinna with his hammer.

"Okay guys, let's all attack!" Zidane exclaimed, annoucing himself as leader of the team and so, they charged at the Dragon Headed Man, attacking with swords and hammers, but the battle was made easier due to the fact the enemy always seemed to trip as it spilt open to reveal a human face with a beard as he held his head.

"UGHUUA! Oh, my head! Go easy, you guys!"

Zidane, marcus, Blank and Cinna were exhausted, their boss was certainly strong with that strange piece of armoury on his person and the bearded man laughed.

"Hey, fools! You're lookin' a lot better! Gwahahaha! Alright! Let's start this meeting already!" He walked over to the door Blank and his fellow friends hidden in earlier as everyone ran in and took their seats as in front of their boss was a doll house of Alexandria and their boss held up a doll which crudely was supposed to be Princess Garnet.

"Here's the plan! Tantalus, the infamous band of daring thieves is headin' to the Kingdom of Alexandria... Our mission: to kidnap the heir to the throne, Princess Garnet!" the boss Baku said to his crew as Cinna held up a crude model of an airship.

"I'll take it from here, so listen up! Our ship's about to dock at Alexandria... And when it does, we're gonna put on our costumes... ...and perform 'I want to Be Your Canary,' the most popular play in Alexandria! Break a leg, Marcus! 'Cause you're playin' the lead!" he exclaimed to him.

Marcus nodded in reply and stood up. "Leave the actin' to me! Of course, the real kidnappers'll be Blank and Zidane!" Blank nodded and was leant against the wall as he held a strange dark yellow creature which was an ugly sight to behold.

"I'll distract the audience from backstage with these little critters. I can't stand oglops... But I'll manage, so don't worry about me. And that'll be your cue, Zidane!" he said and stared at Zidane somehow with that belt on his eyes.

"Of course! That's when I kidnap Princess Garnet right?" he asked Baku and all his boss did was laugh and he spoke.

"You bet! You're gonna kidnap the most babe-ilicious beauty in all of Alexandria, Princess Garnet!" The crew nodded in reply and ran to their starting points for the operation.

Yuri was carrying a box full of beverges on top fo each other in his hands as he looked to the side, making sure he didn't bump into anyone as he stepped into the local pub.

"Special delivery sir!" He placed down the boxes down on the floor nearby as the bartender smiled. "Good lad, i'll take it from here and here's 10 gil for your troubles." The bartender tossed a small bag as Yuri and caught it as he waved at the bartender as he left.

Vivi and his companion stared up at the Prima Vista as it flew into the village.

Zidane strenched his arms out as his tail swayed ever more. "I wonder what Princess Garnet is like..." was all he could think about he heard Baku speak from the control deck.

"Gwahahaha, all right boys, dock the Prima Vista up and re-check your lines, we want ta give her Majesty a 'enjoyable' performance by yours truly!" and and Zidane spoke abck through the comm. "Aye are Captain!" The crew set about docking the Prima Vista in Alexandria.

Yuri stared up at the shadow that overpassed him as he saw the Prima Vista fly towards the castle. "Oh, it's about that play everyone talked about....what was it?" Yuri placed his hand to his chin to think about it.

Vivi tripped and his ticket fell out. A girl picked it up and gave it back to him. He stood up and then he and his companion continued on their way. The man bumped into Yuri's shoulder. "Pardon me....." The man kept the hood over his face.

They walked up to the ticket booth, Vivi showed his ticket to the man. "What's this? Why, this ticket is fake!"

"No!" Vivi's head dropped, the man smiled. "Cheer up. Here, take these." He gave Vivi three cards.

The man and Vivi walked into the alley where a rat-boy appeared. "Hey, you two."

The man kept quiet, Vivi nodded when the rat-boy asked about the fake ticket and about being slaves to see the show.

"This ladder will do, lets go." The rat-boy, Vivi, and the man ran toward the steeple.

Vivi looked around, the rat-boy held the ladder and jumped when a moogle landed on Vivi. "Kupo, sorry!"

The man went up the ladder first, then the rat-boy, and finally Vivi. They reached a pair of planks on the roof.

"Don't worry." The rat-boy walked across, the man and Vivi crossed it together. Before they reached, the rat-boy introduced, "Name's Puck."

"Vivi." Vivi introduced, the man kept quiet. Puck smiled and tossed the ladder. The trio went over the castle wall. Night fall and Yuna, Rikku, Paine, and the masked soldier stood around Garnet.

Zidane, Marcus, Blank and Cinna were on the stage, practicing their lines without the scripts and their swordfights to be absolutely sure the plan went well.

Yuri was suddenly out of his train of thought as a cloaked person bumped into him and excused himself for the accident. "Oh no, it's my fault, I didn't pay attention." he said but he noticed the man walk away with a small child, no, a black mage.

"That's a rare sight to see." Yuri thought and decided to have a walk in the square since he had no more other jobs planned at the moment and when eh saw the man and the Black mage walk off down an alleyway and curiously, he decided to follow them and before he knew it, it was the start of the play.

Garnet sighed, Steiner smiled at himself, hoping to impress the princess by signaling the start of the play.

Baku walked out onto the stage after the fanfare played and he raised his arms as he spoke out loudly to be heard.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight's performance is a story that takes place long, long ago. Our heroine, Princess Cornelia, is torn from her lover, Marcus. She attempts to flee the castle, only to be captured by her father, King Leo. When our story begins, Marcus, having heard of this, crosses swords with the
king. And now, Your Royal Majesty, Queen Brahne, Your Highness, Princess Garnet... ...noble ladies and lords, and our rooftop viewers, Tantalus proudly presents 'I Want to Be Your Canary'!" Baku then bowed and walked off stage as people heard voices comign from within the fake castle that was the stage itself.

"Bereft of father! Bereft of mother! Marcus! Thou has lost even thy love!" Blank's voice was heard, playing his role as another new voice spoke up, this time it was Cinna's. "Fortune hath escap'd thee! For what end shalt thou live!"

Zidane took a deep breath in his lungs. "For the sake of our friend... Let us bury our steel in the heart of the wretched King Leo!" he declared as Cinna and Blank replied. "Aye!" the three men ran out onto the stage, wielding fake weaponry where Marcus and Baku and two others ready to square off.

"We shall back thee, kinsman!" Blank annouced to Marcus and marcus shook his head.

"Pray, sheathe thy swords! This villain is mine alone!"

Cinna was next to speak up his line "Nay, kinsman! For I, too, have lost a brother to this fiend!" and Baku/King Leo responded. "What ho? Out, vermin! Away! Thou darest bare thy sword before the king!? All who stand in my way will be crush'd!"

Zidane shook his head in defience to him and spoke loudly.

"Treaherous Leo, my kinsman's suffering shall not be in vain! For I shall instruct thee in his incomparable pain."

With those words, the performers charged at each other, begining their fake battle and King Leo falls down on knee, pretending to be exhausted. "Arrg... Grr... Thou hast not seen the last of me, Marcus!" He walked off tehe side of the stage as Zidane tried to follow. "Come back!" but Blank intercepted him.

"Out of the way, Blank!" Zidane demaned to friend but Blank shook his head in response. "Consider this, Zidane! If Prince Schnieder were to marry Princess Cornelia, peace would reign over both their kingdoms" this time Zidane would shake his head.

'Tis foolishness! If all were so easy, why, none would suffer in this world!"

The talk ended as the two begun their fake sword battle all ove rthe stage as they run out in front of the crowd and into teh viewing area and continue.

"En garde!" Blank said and Zidane nodded. "Expect no querter from me!" The two continue to clash their sword or avoiding each other's attack and Blank spoke up. "We shall finish this later!" and he ran into Alexandria Castle and Zidane followed suit, calling out. "Come back here!"

The crowd cheered for the show, obivously thinking running into Alexandria Castle was part of the show.

When Barhne wasn't looking, Garnet ran back into the castle and changed clothes. Yuna, Rikku, Paine, and the masked soldier waited for her as they stood in the crowd.

Two voices were yelling out in a room as Zidane and Blank changed into Alexandrian Solider Uniforms by beating up the poor two real soldiers who only wore boxers now as Blank laughed.

"Hehehe! Finished changing, Zidane?" he asked him and Zidane looked at him. "Yeah, but this helmet... It kinda smells..." he mumbled to and Blank shook his head.

"What are you talkin' about!? My helmet totally reeks! My armor's way too big... and my back's real itchy...the boots are wet...my gloves are all slimy... there's cookie crumbs in my pockets..." He said to him and Zidane held up his hands to stop his fellow comrade to discover more about his stinking armor.

"Okay, I get the picture... You still have the package, right?"

Blank took out the package. "Don't worry! I won't screw up!"

"Alright! First, I'll go pour some sleep potion into Princess Garnet's teacup!" he said and Blank replied "And I've got a special something for the lovely queen!" he chuckled at the two sleeping men in boxers.

"Hehehe. They're sleeping so soundly!"

The two men left the room and Blank looked around. "According to recon... ...the royal seats should be right above these stairs!" He poinetd to them and Zidane nodded. "Got it!"

The two heard the crowd roar and the two realised what it meant.

"Uh-oh! The scene where Marcus sneaks into Cornelia's chamber is about to start! Let's get this over with before the finale, okay?" he asked Zidane and he nodded as Zidane ran up the stairs only to meet with a hooded girl with her face covered running out of double doors.

"Hmm...she sure is dressed funny" he thought to himself and he heard a question from the coated woman.

Yuri stood within the crowd, a few steps away from the small black mage and rat child with the cloaked stranger. "So this is Alexandria's famous play, no wonder the townspeople talked about it the past few days.

"Would you please let me pass?" The girl spoke ever so politely and kind.

[Protecter212]

Zidane crossed his arms and thought through his options, he could just let her pass or examine her face so he chosen the first option as he stepped aside and she was about to head down the stairs. "Something's bugging me, better ask her a question to confirm it"

"Wait a sec! Haven't we met before?" he asked her

[Aerith G.]

"No, we haven't." The girl was growing nervous.

[Protecter212]

Zidane put a gloved hand to his chin and walked towards her. "Hmm, maybe you are right, there's no way I'd forget someone with a pretty face." just then, his mind clicked. "Say, you wouldn't-"

He was interupted by Blank who come up the stairs to check out why it was taking time. "Hey, What's goin' on Zidane?" he asked his partner.

"I... I must leave." The girl ran passed Zidane and Blank.

[Protecter212]

When the cloaked woman ran past, Blank fell onto a stair. "Who the heck was that!?" as Zidane looked at him seriously. "Get up Blank! That was Princess Garnet!" Zidane ran down the stairs to catch the runaway princess as Blank was shocked and ran after him.

"Are you serious!?" He asked his friend but no reply came as Zidane was more focused on running than talking and Blank was the same.

[Aerith G.]

The court jesters appeared on the balcony, trying to explain something about the princess. Beatrix walked to the queen, "Your highness...."

"Can't it wait?" The queen ordered. "I'm enjoying the play."

"It's about Princess Garnet."

"Oh, yes. Her and her guards did leave for a while."

"Your majesty, I'm afraid the princess has escaped with the national jewel."

"Hmm, that's not wrong. General Beatrix, and Captain, uh.... Steiner. Go find Princess Garnet."

Steiner walked into the hallway and shouted, "Knights of Pluto, assemble!" Sadly two of the knights appeared, Steiner was ticked, "There's only two of you! Never mind, find the others and look for the princess!"

He ran to the front and heard the crowd. "The play seems to a hit. If we don't find the princess before the curtain, we will be completely embarrassed by Beatrix and her troops!" He ran to the tower and ran to the top, gasping for air. He noticed something on the other tower, it was the princess being a lowdown thief!

"Don't worry, princess! Your knight is coming!"

Meanwhile, Garnet climbed atop one of the stones and slyly smiled at Zidane, hiding something behind her. Then she leaned back and jumped off.

Zidane ran after garnet up spiral stairs, somehow, Blank vanishied along the chase and so ti was all down to him as he wasn't exhauste din the slightest as he was a natural thief and he looked at Garent before she smiled.

"What a cute smi-" His thoughts were cut off as he saw her fall and he looked over the side, she had grasped ahold of the banner's rope to get away as he grabed ahold of ahold of it. "Two can play at that game Princess!" he jumped off and with momentum, he and Garnet landed on the airship's colorful roof for the band playing underneath.

Steiner attempted to follow but he crashed into the towers. Garnet hopped down and ran inside.

Zidane rushed after garnet only to see ehr walk down steps as Ruby blocked teh way, angry abotu garnet just rushing past her without a simple sorry and Zidane managed to past the woman adn run after garent, seeing her stop.

"Whew... Well, it looks like you've finally made up your mind." he said to her and he thought to himself "Wow. We really had to improvise. But hey, we got her!"

[Aerith G.]

"Do you work on this theater ship?" she asked, turning to him. "You have no doubt suspected.... the truth is....." She lifted her head, revealing her face, "I am actually..... Princess Garnet til Alexandros XVII, heir to the throne of Alexandria. I have a favor to wish to ask." She took his hands into hers. "I wish to be kidnapped, right away."

"Aww...she figured it out, huh?" he listened as she revealed her face which was truly a sight to behold but he wasn't charmed by it as she continued and took his hands and placed them in hers and the most sudden request came knocking.

"I wish to be kidnapped, right away."

Zidane was nearly speechless. "H-huh!? I don't...I mean..." and he stopped as he heard racket nearby.

[Aerith G.]

"Princess!" Garnet put her hood back over her face when she heard Steiner's voice. "They've come for me."

[Protecter212]

Zidane fit the pieces together. "Aha...so that's what's going on...Alright! Leave them to me!" He said proudly and tapped his hand against his chest.

[Aerith G.]

"Thank you very much. I'm in your debt." Garnet smiled.

[Protecter212]

Zidane smiled back and knelt down before Garent. "Alright then, your Highess, I shall hereby do my best to kidnap you!" he stood up and the door to the meeting room opened as Cinna ran out as Zidane heard Garent's scream becuase of Cinna's looks peharps.

"What you two doin'? Come on, this way!" Cinna looked at them and Zidane spoke. "Don't worry Princess, it's my friend Cinna!"

[Aerith G.]

"He just surprised me...." Garnet sighed.

[Protecter212]

"Well, with a face like his, I'd be pretty shocked too!" he said jokingly as Cinna was pretending to be hurt. "Man, that hurts! I wash up every morning, you know!" he exclaimed ebfore heard the same voice from earlier calling otu for the princess.

"This way!" Zidane nodded. "Alright, we'll follow you!" CInna ran into the meeting room as Zidane gently grasped Garnet's red gloved hand and ran in with her as Cinna shut the door and they heard a a door open as the same voice was calling out for Garnet and a new voice talking with Steiner as Zidane smiled in his mind. "So that's what you been up to Blank!"

Zidane noticed something. "Hey Cinna, this is a dead end!" as Cinna laughed under his breath.

"Hehehe. I thought this might happen... Open! Sesame!" the table opened and revealed a passageway. "So I set up this escape hatch!" and then, they heard the same guy calling for teh Princess as Cinna looked at Zidane.

"Come on, jump inside!" he ordered hsi friend as Zidane nodded and his ahdn let go of Garnet's red glove and jumped in, only to be followed by the Princess herself and Cinna as the hoel was covered by some shield and they could heard Steiner being angry about it blocked up.

"Wow, you're really athletic, Princess. I think I'm falling for you!"

[Aerith G.]

"Well, I practiced to escape the castle." Garnet smiled.

[Protecter212]

Zidane looked at her. "What a waste, if only you weren't a princess..."

[Aerith G.]

"Lets worry about getting out of here."

[Protecter212]

Zidane argeed by nodding and walked with Cinna to the next room with Garnet behind them as a metal armored knight slid down the pole.

[Aerith G.]

Steiner appeared and smiled. "This will surely a historic day for the Knights of Pluto!"

[Protecter212]

A Pluto Knight comes in from behind Garnet. "You needn't worry your Highness!" and Zidane just laughed a bit. "Come on Blank! You aren't cut out for that job and you know it!"

The knight's look of surprise was a good one as the armored Blank stood with Zidane and Cinna. "You can just leave..." Zidane started his sentence and Cinna continued. "Leave the Princess..." and Blank took over. "To us!"

Thre three men prepared their weaponry and they could tell he was getting furious.

[Aerith G.]

Steiner groaned and took out his sword.

[Protecter212]

Zidane tooks out his daggers as Blank unsleathed hsi sword and Cinna wielding his hammer as Zidane charged at Steiner as he clashes dagger with the heavy sword that the knight wielded and he jumped back as Cinna and Blank also joined in by rapidly swinging their weapons to keep him at bay.

Steiner used a special spell on Blank, unleashing his package and knocking off his armor. "I hate ogolps!"

[Protecter212]

Cinna and Blank noticed this and decided to play along. "Oglops are twh wirst!" Blank started running around as did Cinna. "Get these Oglops offa me!"

Zidane grabbed Garnet's red gloved hand, knwoing what the plan was. "Now's our chance! Come on!" he lead her into the next room as above them, the play was heard as the room could elevate the actors up.

King Leo/Baku spoke.

"Tonight, I shall finally see my daughter Princess Cornelia betroth'd to Prince Schneider! And then Prince Schnieder and his kingdom will be mine! Gwahahahaha!"

Two lackeys approched King Leo restraining Marcus. "Your Majesty!" One said and the other finished it. "We have caught an intruder!"

King Leo stared down at Marcus and grinned. "Why, my poor Marcus! Hark, lad. No matter how much thou dost treasure Cornelia... ...no matter how deeply she might believe she doth love thee... ...never shall I see her marry a peasant such as thee! When yon bell strikes three... Under
the axe thou shall be!" he declared loudly.

Garnet followed Zidane.

Yuna wondered where Garnet was as she waited for her.

Zidane looked around. "Where can we go now?" he asked hismelf within hsi thoughts as Cinna came in. "Zidane! Get on Number Two!"

Zidane nodded "Okay Princess! This way!" and he ran with Garnet onto a platform as teh elevator went up and the play's hole opens as baku wa sstill in speech.

"Futhermore!" Baku stopped when he noticed the two and a certain armoured knight come up "P-Princess Garnet!?" he whispered in a low tone of voice and Zidane looked at him "Guys! Just improvise!" and his fellow compainions gave a small nod

Garnet kept her face hidden under her hood. Yuna gasped when she saw her, but kept still.

Zidane heard STeiner ask what this all was and marcus ran to garnet and bend down before her. "Cornelia!"

Zidane coudl tell Garent was confused and he whispered to her. "Marcus is Cornelia's lover!"

[Aerith G.]

Garnet nodded and walked toward Marcus. "Oh, Marcus! I have missed thee."

[Protecter212]

Zidane whispered to Garnet "Yeah you're doing great!"

[Aerith G.]

"I love all of Lord Avon's plays." Garnet whispered back.

[Protecter212]

Baku whispered to everyoen within range "Okay guys, keep going, Brahne's still watchin, after all!" Zidane nodded and spoke out loud.

"See, King Leo? Thou shouldst give them thy blessing!"

King Leo shook his head. ""Never! Never leave his side, thou sayest? Foolish banter! I'll not allow it! Cornelia shall marry none other than this man--Prince Schnieder! Is that not so, Prince Schnieder?" He asked Steiner who was confused and had pointed to himself.

"Aye! And this traitorous crew, I will put to death!" he declared and his two lackeys come forth as Zidane and marcus 'beaten up' them both as they ran away.

"Pray, sweet daughter, come home to the castle with me!" King Leo looked at Garnet/Cornelia

"Nay, father, I shall not return with you." Cornelia told her father.

[Protecter212]

"Cornelia... Trouble me no more. This wedding is for thine own welfare. Be mindful of that." he said back to her but Marcus stood up.

"Not if I can help it!!! Now is my moment of vengeance! For my parents, and for my love, Cornelia... I shall cut thee down!" he declared

Marcus drew out his prop sword went to kill King Leo but Garnet had run in front of him and got 'struck' with the blade.

"No... Cornelia!!!"" He gasped and looked at her.

[Aerith G.]

Garnet fall to the ground. "Forgive me, Marcus..... I still love my father.... Father.... spare my sweet Marcus...... He hadn't done anything wrong......" She dropped her arms and 'died'.

Everyone seemed to enjoyed this sweet scene, Bahrne still wondered what happened to Garnet, but cried watching the scene.

Marcus was now brought over with grief ""What have I done!? Am I never to hear her loving voice again!? Am I cursed never again to feel her soft touch!? O, cruel fate! Thou hast robbed me of all I treasure!"

Zidane ran to Marcus "Marcus!" he called otu to his friend but was too late as Marcus 'stabs' himself and fell to the floor as the audience enjoyed teh sweet scene and Brahne crying like a drama queen.

Vivi, the strange man, and Puck made down from where they originally stood and watched. "Wow. Good thing we made it down here in time."

"Yeah, it was too sad." Vivi tried to wipe his eyes, soon Alexandria guards chased them. Puck ran off, leaving the man and Vivi. The two of them ran on the stage. "Leave us alone!" Vivi cast a fire spell, which caught on Garnet's rode.

"Ouch! That's hot!" She tossed the robe and rubbed herself.

Yuri found the play interesting until he heards clank and Vivi and the strange cloaked man were chased and he heard some behind him as he laughed nervously. "Oh this isn't my day is it?" he asked himself and ran onto the stage just as soon Garnet had thrown off her robe and shocked was the least of Yuri's worries.

Baku looked at Zidane. "It's time!" and he nodded in reply "Princess! let's get out of here!" and Steiner looked at them "What....what is going on!?" he had asked them.

Yuna, Rikku, Paine, and the masked soldier ran on the stage. Garnet turned to Steiner. "Steiner, please leave."

Zidane looked at Garnet. "Come on Princess. let's ditch Sir Rustalot here!" he said to her and looked over to Vivi and bent down. "Hey kid, you all right?" he asked him.

"I'm fine." Vivi looked at his companion in surprise. The hood was down, revealing the face of a much older man. Yuna gasped when she saw him.

Steiner instantly went back to duty mood. "Princess, I cannot allow you to go! Seize them at once!" the two Knights and himself attacked but Zidane blocked Steiner's attack and Marcus blocked one of the knights's sword but the third knight was about to attack Vivi until a sword blocked it as Yuri stood with it.

"Sorry, knights don't attack kids." Was all he said and pushed him back as did Marcus's foe as the two knights did get a few bruises and they ran away, leaving only Steiner.

The man pulled a huge sword from his back, Yuna, Rikku, Paine, and the masked soldier pulled their weapons out, Vivi had a staff in his hands, and Garnet wielded a rod.

~Within the Helm~

"Stabilizers configured!" he announced and Blank spoke up next.

"Engine room is ready to go!"

Baku nodded. "Alright! We're movin' out!" and Cinna and Blank nodded and soon the airship was flying away but Brahne ordered anchor cannons to be fired at the Prima Vista to hold it in place and then, a huge cannon came out and fired a Bomb monster at the ship.

~On Stage~

Steiner was too focused on getting the Princess back he didn't notice the Bomb was behind him and slowly expanding.

"Hey! Look behind you!" he said to him but Steiner was determined. "I'll not fall for such an old trick!"

[Aerith G.]

"Stiener, could you please turn your head around to see a Bomb behind you?!" Rikku shouted. Yuna seemed more focused on the man, his sword looked familiar.

Garnet healed any wounds, while Vivi cast a simple fire on Steiner.

Steiner looked over his shoulder and noticed the bomb behind him, fully expanded and ready to explode. He fell back and began to panic.

The man held both Vivi and Yuna when it exploded, Rikku grabbed Paine and held her. Garnet fell back.

The Prima Vista barely survived the explosion, but it floated. Brahne snapped her fan in half and asked the court jesters to prepare their little experiment. The ship crushed in a forest, Yuna opened her eyes and looked around.

Yuri and Zidane covered themselves as teh explosion occured and while the ship floated, Zidane was soon hurled off the ship before landing on the ground of the forst and Yuri twitched his hand as he opened his eyes.

"Urgh...what happened?" He asked himself and looked around as he was lying on grassy floor with the airship a few metres away. "Sorry I asked..."

Zidane was also comign aroudn from he landed and he noticed the airship. "Oh man..." was all he could say and jumped down to check.

Yuna noticed the man and the masked soldier, however the explosion had caused for the hamlet to come off, Yuna gasped loudly.

Garnet and Vivi ran out of the area they had landed and looked back. Garnet looked back to make sure nothing followed, but Vivi shook as something hovered over her.

Steiner got up and noticed the princess was nowhere to be found. He went to go look for her.

Rikku and Paine made their way out of the wreckage and also gasped at the two men. The cloaked man stood up and went to look for Vivi.

Zidane noticed Cinna who walked out of the wreckage. "How's everyone?" he asked him and Cinna at the broken airship. "The ship's wasted, but Zidane, you must of been crazy to jump off like that!" and Zidane yelled at him.

"I was thrown off by the impact! anyway, where's the Princess?" he asked him and Cinna shook ssi head "Haven't found her, hopefully she ain't crushed under the ship."

Zidane saw Yuri hitting his shoulders a bit. "Hey, you all right?" and Yuri nodded. "It's nothing to worry about...huh?" He heard a rustle from soemwhere and Zidane nodded as they both ran into the forest.

Yuna, Rikku, and Paine followed them into the forest. The soldier also followed them.

Stiener continued to wander, calling out for the princess.

The man found Vivi and Garnet, a strange plant with some kind of cage on its head held Garnet. Vivi seemed to scared to do anything, the man took his sword out.

Zidane sweatdropped. "Honestly, can't Sir Rustalot keep his voice down to not attract any attention?" he thought to himself as a scream was heard, one of which was fmemale and the two men started running towards it.

Yuna, Rikku, and Paine took out their weapons. The man stood with the soldier, their swords out.

Stiener ran to where he heard the scream come from and drew his sword, redy to attack the monster.

A bright light appeared around Yuna, and she changed. Her hair was blond, both of her eyes were the same as Al Bhed, and she looked like the person she was searching for. "What is this?"

"That must be the power we heard about, Trance!" Rikku looked at her cousin, excited.

Zidane saw Vivi sitting down, trembling as Garnet was in some sort of monster like cage and Steiner was also there, demanding the monster returned the Princess.

"I don't think monsters take orders from humans." Yuri said as he drawn out his sword and Zidane prepared his daggers. "Here he comes!" Zidane shouted as the monster charged at the three men as Zidane burst in a glow of light and stood there, covered in purple fur and purple hair.

Yuri looked at him, "It's looks like it's Trance." and Zidane looked at himself. "Well I do feel stronger than before, so let's go!" He charged at the monster who was draining's life energy away only to be slashed by a dagger twice as Zidane flipped back. "Take this! FREE ENERGY!"

A burst of power appeared out of nowhere and blasted the creature, damaing it even more as Yuri charged in with his sword.

"Shigure Souen Style 1st form....Shajiku no Ame!(Axle of Rain)" Yuri thought in his mind as he thrust his sword into the creature before pulling the weapon out to allow Steiner a blow to the creature but after that attack, it escaped with Garnet.

[Aerith G.]

A new monster appeared, trapping Vivi. He screamed, this time, the man entered Trance. His hair was straight and tied back, silver armor was on his body in place of his cloak. Vivi cast a fire spell, Yuna ran forward, doing Blitz Ace. The man shouted, "Jecht Rush!!!!" Both attacks killed the monster and freed Vivi. He ran and hugged the man.

Zidane looked at them as his Trance soon died out and sleathed his weapons. "Not bad moves for a lady and a stranger, who are you?" he asked them as Yuri sleathed his weapon as well.

[Aerith G.]

"My name's Rikku." Rikku smiled.

"Paine." Paine crossed her arms.

"Yuna." She smiled when her Trance died out, the man's Trance died as well. "This guy is Vivi and I'm Jecht."

"Braska." The soldier walked up, the monster blew out a green gas, which made Jecht, Vivi, and Steiner faint.

Yuri bent down and looked at Steiner. "What happened here?" he asked Zidane and he thought to himself. "We better get them to the airship fast and give them the medience, what just happened was that mosnter sprayed seeds all over them and if we don't force them to drink, you can say bye bye world."

Yuri nodded as he and Zidane put themselves udner Steiner's arm and walked. "Yuri." he said aloud and Zidane was confused what he said and Yuri continued. "My name."

Zidane chucked. "Zidane, kidnapper of Princess Garnet." the two walked with Steiner in tow to the airship and when they arrived, Blank was outside and Zidane spoke loudly.

"Oi Blank, get 'that' medience will ya, we got three seeded here." blank nodded and went inside as did Zidane, Yuri and Steiner and they passed Steiner over to the two rhino-like people.

The four soldiers followed them and waited outside for the results.

Steiner was forced into the storage room.

"Confounded thieves. I have to get out of here and find the princess."

He started to walk towards the door, breathing heavily.

"Too weak to...carry on...."

He then glanced at the bottle in his hand.

"This must be some kind of poison. It smells awful. But this pain is unbearable...."

He shrugged and drank the liquid in the bottle, tossing the bottle aside as he finished it off.

"Hey, not bad."

Blank fed Vivi some of the medience as Steiner was lea-more like forced into a room with his own medience vial as Marcus leant against a wall and looked at the four soliders and tossed Braska the vial.

"Get your friend to drink that and make sure he drinks the whole thing even if it tastes bad." Was all he said as Marcus walked in to talk with Zidane as Yuri strenched out his arms besides a tree nearby the airship. "Now what do we do? he asked himself in his thoughts.

~Within the airship~

Zidane just beaten Baku and he walks out with Vivi and Steiner in tow as Yuri turned around and Zidane stared at all of them. "All right, my friends are too busy and worried with the crew and supplies so I decided by myself to get the Princess back so I asked Vivi and Sir Rustalot here to help out, if you six wish to come along, you are more than welcome to but I won't promise you to come out alive." he said seriously to them.

Steiner gave Zidane a glare when he said Sir Rustalot and he focused on getting back the Princess as Yuri walked towards him. "Well, anything is better than standing around here right?"

[Aerith G.]

Braska gave Jecht the vial and he drank it. Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Braska, and Jecht walked out. "We're going with you. There's a little experiment I wanna try with Vivi."

"I wanna help save the princess this time!" Vivi said.

Zidane looked at them and nodded. "Okay, now if I had to guess, that monster was nothing more than a lackey meaning the boss has to be in the centre of this forest, find him, we find the Princess so let's go!" Zidane walked out to the same path they taken earlier as Yuri followed, hand on his sword in case of any surprise attacks

Yuna followed them, Rikku held onto Paine, Braska and Jecht followed, Jecht had Vivi on his shoulders.

Steiner followed them, ready to draw his sword if needed.

Zidane stuided his surroundings as his tail swayed back and forth naturally as he looke din every direction. "Come on, surely one huge boss can't be THAT hard to fi-" he looked over the swamp and saw the big huge plant. "You know what, never mind, now where's an entrance?"

He looked around and saw vines leading into a cave and smiled. "Jackpot." he walked in as Yuri followed suit and before them wa sthe huge plant but behind was Garnet tied by vines.

"So, this is it huh, well, i'll be taking the Princess back if ya don't mind!" Zidane unsleathed his daggers, grinning as Yuri puleld out his sword.

"Nonsense! I'll be the one to save the princess, not some common burglar!" Steiner said as he drew his sword.

[Aerith G.]

"Vivi, now!" Jecht shouted, Vivi cast a fire spell and the blades of all the sword wielders glowed bright orange. Jecht attacked. at the plant.

Yuri stared at his sword and smiled as he charged at the creature and slashed at it as Zidane ran and uses various slash attacks before flipping to avoid a vine whip. (Not a pokemon reference here!)

Yuna and Rikku attacked together.

Steiner slashed at the monster. The monster let out a blast of pollen to blind everyone.

Yuna changed to White Mage and used Esuna on everyone to cure them.

Blank came running in after the Esuna

"Thought I'd never catch up with you guys." Zidane smirked. "Join the party Blank!" The two nodded and charged before defeating the monster.

Steiner continued to attack the monster.

Braska, Jecht, Rikku, and Paine continued, Yuna stayed in White Mage and cured everyone.

Yuri walked over to where the Princess was binded to and cut her free as he sleathed his sword quickly and caught her as his knees buckled a little.

"We got the Princess!" Yuri told everyone as Blank looked at Zidane who gave Garnet the medication needed. "Drink it up princess even if it tastes horrible." he said to him as Blank walked to Zidane. "We gotta get goin!'"

Suddenly, the place moved around as plant like creatures appeared and Zidane nodded. "Everyone, RUN!" Yuri nodded and handed Garnet to STeiner during the little chat as they begun running.

Jecht placed Vivi on his shoulder and carried Yuna in his arms, then ran off. Rikku, Paine, and Braska followed them.

Steiner ran after everyone, being careful not to drop the princess.

Everyone made it just before the forest became petrified. Zidane held a map in his hand and gasped, making everyone made it. Blank remained in the forest, petrified. Braska and Paine went to make camp.

Yuri was trying to get his breath back and Zidane hit the petrified entrance of the forest "No Blank! Damn it!" He stopped hitting the entrance and walked to the campsite to get his bearings as Yuri just sat on the floor as he took off his sword which was sleathed.

"So...what's the plan Zidane?" He finally asked as Zidane opene dthe map. "Well, I suppose we better head to the nearest village and go on from there to find a way to Lindblum." He annouced to the group as Garnet was put in the tent to rest.

"Also, I heard the South and North Gates are closed off so we'll have to enter the Ice Cavern north of here and hope we find a village on the other side as well as transport, for now, we should rest and let the Princess get her strength back and we'll head off in the morning." he continued and rolled up the map and stuck it in his pocket.

Yuna sighed, seeing her father and one of her guardian was shocking. But she wondered if maybe he was on this world as well.

Zidane looked at the company. "Well, since we are all here, might as well get to know each other since we are travelling together." He chucked with hand behind his hand.

[Aerith G.]

Rikku nodded, and showed her tail. Yuna rubbed the strange horn on her forehead.

Zidane noticed the tail but decided not to ask anything about it since there are many different people in the world as his tail swayed back forth Yuri just had his back against a rock as he put his sword nearby until he heard Zidane.

"Are you one of Alexandria's men then Mr. Farrence?" He asked him and Yuri chuckled almost like Tidus. "Just call me Yuri and no, I'm not from Alexandria or one the knights, I'm just a travelling swordsman, honing my skills, I only happened to be at Alexandria to do some jobs and get some gil to travel."

[Aerith G.]

Yuna couldn't help but notice how Yuri laughed. 'Just like him..... Could it be.....' she thought to herself before asking. "Yuri, did a young man with blond hair and blue eyes live with you?"

Yuri heard Yuna's question. "He did live with me and my father for a while until he said he had to go and find someone precious to him, that was almost 6 months ago so judging by the question, he's searching for you as you are searching for him." He said calmly to her

Yuna gasped, Rikku squealed and hugged her. Jecht asked, "Did he say where he might search for her?" Just then, Garnet came out of the tent and sat with everyone.

Yuri closed his eyes as he thought back. "He said he didn't know where he was and after spending some time with us and getting to know the country we were in which is Burmecia, he headed off, so he's either still there or he's travelling around, this was 6 months ago so he could be very far away by now."

Zidane noticed Garnet. "Well the Princess is awake, you feel better?" he asked.

[Aerith G.]

"A little better." Garnet stretched, a moogle appeared and gave a flute to Yuna.

Yuri looked at Jecht and Yuna. "He sure did seem out of place with the clothing he wore, almost like if he was from another world as he had no idea where he was, he mentioned some weird names, Spira, Aeons, Blitzball and to be honest, me and my father had no idea what he was mumbling about." He chuckled a bit again. "But he was still a person who needed a helping hand."

Zidane stared at Yuri. "I have a question." Yuri nodded at him and ZIdane continued. "Your style is...different to my crewmates, why is that?"

Yuri chuckled almost like Tidus again. "It's not surprising to ask me that question, I use a sword techniques or more old fashioned, sword style and it's named Shigure Souen as it's a style based around water and rain, you already seen my first form against that minion."

He could hear Steiner mumble about Alexandria taking on a style or something and Yuri continued. "Sorry Steiner, I'm afraid I don't have plans to pass on my techniques just yet."

Jecht and Yuna looked at each other. Jecht looked at Yuri, "Since I came here, I've been trying to find him to apologize for what I did to him as a kid. A few months ago, I found Vivi and tried to be the father figure I never was to my son."

Yuna stood up and looked out to the distance.

Yuri raised an eyebrow. "Ah so you are the old man he's talked about, then again, if he was a child, his mind would run on many different things before considering them, then again, I don't have a father." he said solemnly.

Zidane looked at Garnet. "We'll head out first thing in the morning so get as much rest as you can."

Rikku, Paine, Garnet, Jecht, Braska, Steiner, and Vivi went into the tent. Yuna stood where she was, then put her fingers in her mouth and whistled. "I wonder if he heard that........"

Zidane looked at Steiner who was was so insisitant he'd stand guard and protect the Princess and Zidane sighed, there was no use in talking him otu of him so he lay down the dusty ground, hearing Yuna whistle. "We got a big day tomorrow." He closed his eyes as Yuri rested his head against the rock formation with his sword's hilt on his side as he was sleeping kinda like Inuyasha.

Yuna changed to Songstress and laid down. Then she had the same dream as before, she and Tidus were running from Bevelle guards in the Bevelle Underground. She still wasn't sure why they were running, soon enough they stood in front of Vanagun. Tidus held Yuna in his arms as the guards confronted them. Yuna and Tidus looked at each other one last time and they were shot. Yuna looked toward Tidus' motionless body and cried. Yuna shouted loudly and woke up, she gasped for air.

Yuri sat in front of the camp on a rock as the guard duty shifted since Steiner was asleep on his legs and he heard Yuna behind him. "Nightmare?" he asked her with his sword still sleathed on the ground as her places his hands on the end of the hilt and placed his head on it.

Yuna looked at him and nodded. "Kinda." She explained the dream to him, and tried not to make it too confusing.

Yuri listened as he noticed Yuna had taken a seat beside him when she explained and he spoke.

"So, that's what happened, but I'm not surprised to hear about a huge creature, this world has many different kinds of monsters so it can be possible it exists, but with you and him running, I think it would be either the creature influencing you or something else did." his eyes looked at the dress.

"You weren't originally wearing that so it could be possible it has something to do with it, how, I do not know." He stared out into the distance. "He talked about you when he was around."

[Aerith G.]

"What did he say?" Yuna asked as she changed dresspheres. She now wore Berserker.

"He said he was looking for a woman who's very precious to him and when I asked what she was like, he laughed and tried to describe you, he said a cute girl who's strong willed and never willing to give up." he chuckled with his mouth closed.

"He told me a story about his journey, how he experienced it and his fellow compainions but two people stuck out the most, the summoner Yuna and the hateful old man, he had different expressions talking throughout his story and my father thought it was all but a fairytale, I on the other hand, believed it all did happen, and with you and his father here, it's undeniable proof he came from another world." he finished.

Yuna tried to imagine him explain the pilgrimage to Zanarkand. "I see........" She smiled as she watched the sun rise. "I hope we can find each other."

Yuri chuckled. "Hope's a good emotion, it pulls us through the bad times." he watched the sun rise.

Yuna waited for everyone to get up. Jecht smiled and lifted Vivi on his shoulders, Yuna smiled.

Zidane strenched out. "Okay, I guess we are all ready to go?" He asked them before noticing Steiner was still asleep on his legs and ZIdane scratched behind his head with his gloves on. "Rusty's still asleep?"

Yuri stared at Zidane from his seat. "He's been like that ever since I took over your guard duty as he was muttering "I'll never let a bandit protect the Princess and stayed up until you went to sleep it was my turn."

"Steiner, Garnet's running away with the bandit." Rikku shouted, and Steiner woke up immediately.

Yuri tried his best not to laugh at that moment. "Oh, that's a good wake up call there Rikku." He smiled and got up.

Zidane looked around and checked hsi equipment. "Right, since everyone's up, let's head off to the Ice Cavern!" he said to them and walked away from the forest as Yuri soon followed suit.

Rikku smiled and everyone else followed them.

Yuri stepped back a bit and he was walking alongside Braska. "You must be Yuna's father I presume?" he asked him as Zidane checked the map with garnet while Stiener was mubling about bandits theives, return to the castle etc.

"Yes, I am. High Summoner Braska."


Yuna got chills as they neared the carven, Jecht placed his cloak on her shoulders. He looked the same as he did on Spira without the cloak on, Yuna sighed.

Yuri felt the coldness and for once, was glad his armor was clothing because Steine rlooked like his suit was to goign to freeze off and Yuri checked out everyone else, Rikku seemed ot be struggling with her Thief dress-sphere and Yuri took off his white coat without much diffculty and handed it to her.

"Don't worry, I'm used to this." he said to her as Zidane didn't seem to bothered. "Okay, let's get going!" He walked in to lead the party.

Rikku smiled and Paine changed her dressphere to Black Mage. Garnet ran to the flowers, wondering what kind they were.

Zidane looked around. "I don't know, but I guess they are grown only in the cold." zidane coudl feel hsi tail getting cold and he rubbed his shoulders whiel Steiner was telling the Princess not to touch anything as Yuri seemed unfazed by the cold.

"Sorry to be rude Princess but I think we better start moving, I think Rikku, even with that coat on and Zidane are getting chilly." Yuri said to her.

Jecht sighed and walked, he was careful not to slip since he wasn't wearing any shoes. Yuna wrapped the cloak around her shoulders.

Yuri looked and saw Rikku was wrappign herself with the coat he provided her with, it was only one piece and it wasn't very warm to wear so he wrapped an arm around her to keep her warm as he walked along with her. "Zidane, any way to go on?" he asked him

Zidane patted some ice, "thsi si as far as we can go, but, this ice seems strange to me, maybe Vivi can melt it?" he looked at Vivi.

Vivi was placed on the ground and he cast fire, the ice melted.

Zidane smiled. "Great, now we can go further on!" he puts his ahnd son hsi shoulder as he rubbed more as he walked in as a blizzard was blowing in their faces.

Yuri put an arm over his eyes to protect himself as he held onto Rikku.

Rikku held on him and continued. Vivi cast fires at the ice walls. Yuna felt dizzy and fell to the ground, asleep.

"Yu..... Yuna....." Jecht dropped to his knees and was unconscious.

Yuri felt somewhat sleepy and he felt Rikku soon give away and he noticed he was holding onto her but her eyes were closed. "She's asleep? wai...I'm..." Yuri felt to the snowy floor holding onto Rikku as Steiner too feel asleep and so did Zidane, but he heard a beel ring and awoken and got up. "What.....was that?"

Zidane struggled onwards to check.

Zidane looked up "Are you the one causing this bliizard?!" he asked the strange creature.

"I am Black Waltz." Black Waltz rang his bell, and sent a blizzard attack to Zidane as well as summoning a large sealion.

Zidane avoided the attack and brought out his two daggers as he attacked the Sealion before etting whacked away by it's tail and soon, he burst into Trance and he leapt at the Sealion and cut through it's side and cast Free Energy on it twice, almost exhuasting his power as the sealion fell and he charged at the Black Waltz with a string of combos before letting loose one last Free Energy attack to destory him as his Trance died out.

[Aerith G.]

Black Waltz staggered to stand up. "How......?" Then he died. Unseen, two small court jesters watched.

Zidane turned around and looked back, the blizzard ended and he walked ot meet with the other as he noticed Yuri slowly get up as did the other and when Steiner questioned him all ZIdane said was "It was nothing." and Yuri helped Rikku up and brush the snow off of her.

"Shall we continue on then?" He asked ZIdane who nodded. "I think we are nearly there, come on." Zidane turned aroudna ndwalked back the way he came as it lead to the exit where the sun shone upon them and the distance, a village.

Yuna smiled and gave Jecht his cloak back. Rikku gave Yuri his coat back and changed to Alchemist. Garnet smiled and started to the village. Braska stopped her. "Princess, you can't barge in there."

Yuri smiled at Rikku and put on his coat when Braska mentioned to the Princess she can't go and she was confused and Zidane thought and realised it. "Of course! Since Alexandria is looking for you, you'll need a new idenity, a name and changing the way you talk."

Yuri nodded. "How about we let the Princess decide on her name and we'll go on from there." He said to them and Steiner wasn't refusing as he didn't want the princess to be kidnapped again so he'd allow her to change her name until they return to Alexandria.

"How 'bout Dagger, after the weapon Zidane uses?"

Zidane thought about it. "It's a name to say the least, so it could work out." he said to Dagger and looked out to the village. "You know, I think I been there before."

Yuri chuckled. "It sounds like you travelled all over the continent Zidane." he responded and Zidane rubbed a hand behind his head. "Well, let's get going before Alexandria catches up." He said and started walking towards the village

Rikku, Paine, and Braska followed them. Yuna, Jecht, Vivi, and Steiner were in the back.

"Jecht, aren't you going to leave once you find him and tell him you were sorry?" Vivi asked, Jecht smiled. "No way, Vivi. I'll always be here for you." Steiner cried and said what wonderful judgment he was saying. Yuna smiled at him.

Zidane walked with hands behind his head as his tail swayed back and forth and Yuri just moved his arms side to side until they reached the village.

"So, how about we rest at the inn and check around town tomorrow?" Zidane asked them and walked into the inn

Yuna was a little suspicious of the innkeeper when he woke up and showed them the room. She found a spot and laid down. Rikku fell asleep right away and Paine slowly followed. Everyone fell asleep as well.

Zidane woke up the next mornign as he strenched and looked around and saw no-one was around. "Oh, guess I slept in." He said sheeplishly and walked out of the Inn.

Yuri was a few feet away from the vegetable patch and unsleathed his sword as he practiced swinging it.

Jecht and Braska spent some time together, catching up on old times. Rikku and Paine led Dagger around the village, teaching her to speak like common people. Vivi stood where he heard chocobos. Yuna sat on the fence of the patch, looking out.

Zidane noticed Vivi and walked to him. "Hey Vivi, what's going on?" he asked him.

Yuri was breathing deeply and looked at his sword gleaming in the sunlight.

"Oh, Zidane. Nothing. I was just thinking."

Zidane looked at him. "Is it about girls?" he asked him

Yuri closed hsi eyes and breathed in deeply as he was focused and ran fowards as he swung his sword diagionally but midway, he let go of teh sword only for it to land in his free hand and brought it up. "Shigure Souen Style 5th form...Samidare (Early Summer Rain) he thought.

Vivi shook his head. "I keep hearing this sound, 'kewh'."


Yuna noticed a small child, but he became frightened and ran from her. She ran after him.

Zidane put a hand to his chin. "that's the sound Chocobos make, anyway, if you need help with girls, come to me, I'll help ya out!" he said to him

Yuri noticed Rikku, Dagger and Paine were watching him and he placed his hand behind his head sheeplishly. "You three watched me?" he asked them.

"Chocobos?" Vivi nodded and looked around.

Rikku turned deep red and shook her head. Paine sighed, Dagger smiled, "Your skills are amazing, Yuri." The royal accent in her voice was almost gone.

Yuna found the child near the back of the inn.

Zidane nodded. "Yeah, they are big birds who like a certain type of food and they can be used as transport." he said to him

Yuri took note of Dagger's aaccent nearly gone and he sheeplishy nodded. "Well, when you teach yourself during travelling, you pick up a few things." he laughed a bit and looked at Dagger. "I see Rikku and Paine are doing their best to help you out." He smiled at them.

Vivi's eyes grew wide and looked around.

Rikku nodded. "We certainly are!" Dagger nodded as well.

Zidane looked around. "Well, i better go see where the others are, I'll see you at the inn Vivi." he said to him and waved as he walked to see where teh other were and noticed Jecht and Braska talking.

Yuri laughed a bit from Rikku's cheerful state. "You got alot of stamina there." he pointed out.

After Zidane left, two people came and took Vivi away.

Rikku blushed and smiled. "That's just who I am."


"Oh, hello, Zidane." Braska and Jecht finished talking and noticed him.

Zidane waved and walked up to them. "Hey there, I just walkign around to find the others, so far, I found Vivi and I guess Dagger's trying her best at talking normally with the girl's help, Steiner could be left behind since he's so insistant on getting her to Alexandria and Yuri, I have no idea."

Yuri looked at them and noticed something bouncing and into Dagger's hands, it was an oglop and a big one at that. "Oh, an Oglop." he said when the girls took notice of it.

"I wonder where Yuna is, since she isn't with them." Jecht scratched his head.

Dagger looked at the creature as she held it in her hand. "I've never seen one before."

Zidane nodded. "Well, she doesn't seem to be the type who would be easily defeated."

Yuri looked at Dagger. "It's not surprising, in Alexandria, you never get Oglops at all but what surprises me is that you girls aren't screaming, most country girls get frightened at the sight of one." he said to them.

Rikku noticed there were some villagers looked at them curiously, Dagger took a deep breath and screamed real loud as the oplog jumped out of her hands.

Yuri watched Dagger scream as a sweatdrop appeared behind his head. "Not bad for a country girl Dagger." said to them

Zidane looked at Braska and Jecht. "Anyway, I told Vivi I'd meet up with at the inn and I'll meet you two there as well, now all I got o do is find the girls and Yuri then we'll decide on a plan." He said ot them and waved as he looked around the village for 3 minutes until he heard a scream and walked to notice the girls and Yuri.

"What happened here?" He asked them.

"Oh, nothing! Dagger was just scared of a oplog appeared." Rikku smiled, Dagger sweatdropped. Yuna walked up with the child she found.

Zidane sweatdropped as well as he noticed Yuna with a child. "Yuna, who's this?" he asked her.

[Aerith G.]

"I don't know, I found him near the inn. He's a orphan." Yuna smiled, and the boy shyly smiled at everyone.

Zidane bent down. "An orphan huh, so, this means you are gonna adopt him?" he asked her as Yuri looked as well.

[Aerith G.]

"Of course." Yuna smiled, Rikku thought of a name for the boy.

Zidane looked at Yuna. "He's in your hands Yuna." he said to her and continued. "I'll meet everyone at the inn to talk about where we go from here." Zidane waved hsi hand and went to the inn to wait as Yuri followed suit.

Yuna and the girls went to the inn, Braska and Jecht followed.

Yuri followed suit as there was everyone in the room and Zidane looked around. "Hey...where's Vivi? He shoudl be here since I met up with him first." he asked himself.

"Guys, did you see how everyone reacted when they saw Vivi? They were scared." Yuna recalled to the weird feeling she had about the innkeeper.

Yuri crossed his arms. "Well, that's true...I'm getiing the horrible feeling of he's been kidnapped since he gotten those looks."

Zidane nodded. "Let's go and look for him but if we all go together like this, we'll be caught, I'll go and someone else can come along with me while you all check the town." Zidane annouced to them.

"I'll go." Dagger followed Zidane. Jecht formed groups among the rest of them and searched the town.

Zidane nodded and walked out and looked around. "Now where could we search?" He put a hand to his chin and remembered where Vivi was last standing as he ran to the Windmill and heard something.

"Did I hear a chocobo?" he walked and looked around as dagger was near him. "Vivi said he heard a chocobo here." he said to her and heard some crying noises.

"Is someone crying?" he asked himself before listening closely at the sniffing and he looked at a hole. "It's coming from the hole?"

Zidane bent down and spoke into the hole. "Vivi?"

Yuri was paired up with Braska as they were in the Item Store since Paine paired up with Jecht and Yuna with Rikku as Yuri noticed he was talking with the clerk.

"Somehow...I highly doubt that clerk will tell the truth" Yuri thought and noticed Braska returning. "Any luck?" He asked him.

"Zidane, is that you?"


"Nothing, everyone is too scared about black mages in this town."

Zidane's eye's widened "Vivi! Where are you? Are you underground? Can you move?" He waited for a response.

Yuri walked out with Braska. "Well, we learnt about the town being afraid of black mages, that's a start to say the least."

"I'm fine. After you left, these guys appeared and brought me down here."


Braska nodded and noticed Zidane and Dagger.

Zidane spoek again. "Don't worry Vivi, we'll get you out and we'll hurry so stay where you are." He looked at Dagger as he stood up. "What's going in in this village...anyway, there's got to be a way to go underground, let's look for one."

Yuri also noticed. "Peharps they found something?" he asked Braska until Zidane and Dagger went into the Windmill

Zidane noticed something like a hatch and he bent down. "Heh, isnt' this obvious?" He asked hismelf, chucking a little as he pulled it off. "There's a cool breeze, so it must lead underground." He climbed down the ladder.

"Probably." Braska followed them, Yuna and Rikku noticed and followed as well. Jecht and Paine were behind them.

Zidane and Dagger were downstairs and he walked before noticed soem noises and grabbed dagger and hid behind a stone wall and he looked only to see the others and sighed. "I honestly thought they'd be the villagers." was all he said until he heard a 'kweh'

"A chocobo?" He walked down teh tunnel and saw a shack but hid from sight. "This isn't just some regular unground storage facility..." he whispered

Dagger was about to talk until Zidane pressed a finger to her lips. "Shush..." he hid behind the barrel, not noticing the mark as he listened to the men inside the shack asking various questions until oen said "I guess the guys at the castle will take care of it." and another responded. "Yeah, we're only in charge of the production." and the previous spoke up.

"Gotcha." and footsteps were heard. "Come along now." as the men lead Vivi further into the tunnel.

Dagger noticed something on the barrel and dragged Zidane away when the men led Vivi away.

Zidane was being dragged and he looked at Dagger who pulled him into the previous room. "What is it?"

[Aerith G.]

"I realized the pattern on the barrel! I saw similar ones at the castle."

"Then, you saying that this village has a connection with Alexandria Castle?" Zidane asked her and placed hsi hand on his chin. "It's possible....alright, I won't go and cause any trouble yet until we rescued Vivi." Zidane noticed everyone else was listening.

"Lets go. Vivi's in trouble!" Jecht ran in the tunnel.

Zidane watched Jecht run into the tunnel. "Although, I think he will start it." Zidane said and followed suit as did Yuri.

Yuna smiled. "He's just a caring father for his captured child." She and the other Gullwings calmly followed him.

Zidane and Yuri looked around as Zidane noticed some weird machine started runnign towards it only for Dagger to call him back. "What is it?"

"Are those.... eggs?" Paine noticed there was the machine was producing. Yuna heard something in the coffin behind her and opened it. Vivi immediately ran to Jecht.

Zidane looked at Vivi. "What happened Vivi?" he asked him as Yuri looked at a door and bent down as he saw something. "Is this smoke....no...it's the Mist." He said a bit surprised.

"Those men asked me a lot of weird questions and placed me in that coffin. I was so scared."

"Listen Vivi, you gotta do something next time like 'get off me you scumbag!' It surprises your attacker and empowers you, I know you won't like it but give it a try at least next time." Zidane said to him and looked ahead. "We're all going ahead, I'm sure we are all curious now."

Yuri walked down the side of the eggs and noticed a chocobo powering the belt and he looked inside. "I can barely see anything but there's noise....are the eggs hatching?"

Dagger was deep thought about what Zidane said and followed the others. Yuna gasped when she entered.

Zidane stared at the Black Mages, surprised. "They're....Some parts are different but..." Zidane looked at Vivi. "They look just like Vivi." he thought to himself as Yuri looked at where the Black mages were comign out of.

"Could they have hatched from those....eggs?" He asked himself.

Vivi stared in shocked. Jecht looked speechless.

Zidane turned around and heard footsteps not of their own parties. "Someone's coming!" he looked at them. "Vivi! Dagger!" Theyw ere still shocked adn ZIdane sighed and he grabbed Dagger by her waist and lifted her up onto his shoulder and took Vivi's hand and ran into the machine as the others did follow suit as Yuri covered Rikku's mouth as well as Yuna's.

Zidane looked at everyone. "Sorry but stay quiet." Yuri nodded at Zidane and let go of the girl's mouths as a young man's voice was heard.

"Hey! did you say something?" he asked someone as another spoke up. "Nope. Not me." and the young man's voice responded. "Okay, never mind, it's almost time, Hurry it up will ya?" the worked talked back. "I hear ya!"

A box dropped and boxed in Zidane as he was surprised. "Whoa!" and he was rolled along the rollers and put into a barrel and same thing happened with Vivi and the others.

~OOC: Meanwhile...1000's miles away!~

Steiner was on top of a mountain with an old man. "Pardon me! I must escort a person of high rank to the castle! When will the cargo ship arrive?" and the old man nodded. "Hmm...looks good." a she walked down the steps and Steiner followed him to his house until he got infomation of the cargo ship off the old man (OOC: Come on, you really think Rusty would force him? .....Never mind.)

Steiner ran out of the house and saw the cargo ship. "Ah, it is indeed the cargo ships, now I can take the princess back to the castle!." He was soon in thought. "Now I must think of a way to get her on the ship..." Steiner noticed something.

"There's something coming out of the ground!" he soon started running towards the cargo ship.

two men were talkign until one of them noticed Steiner runnign towards them and quickly left the barrel behind as Steiner soon arrived and looked at the barrel

"This barrel...what could be inside...what could they possibly be shipping out of this village?" he questioned to himself and the barrel moved."What the- Did I just see that barrel move?" Steiner drew out his sword and slashed at teh barrel and Zidane jumped out. "OWWWUUUCH!"

Zidane looked at Steiner on top of the barrel "What did you do that for!?" and Steiner responded. "You!!!" and Zidane shouted back. "You almost stabbed Dagger!"

Steiner was in shock. "The princess!?" and Zidane jumped on Steiner as he fell over and Zidane looked at the barrel as everyone else was soon out.

Yuna stretched and noticed something in the distance.

Steiner was jumping up and down and looked at Dagger. "Princess, what in the world is going on!?" and Steiner pointed at Zidane. "You scoundrel! is this your doing!?"

Rikku groaned, Dagger put her hands on her hips, "Steiner, please!"

Jecht held Vivi as he held onto his cloak. "Those black mages.... were they dolls?"

Steiner looked at dagger and stood to attention. "Yes, Your Highness!" as Zidane looked at Dagger who was just as confused as she was as Yuri spoke up.

"I never thought Alexandria Castle was doing something this suspicious but the question is why."

Zidane looked to Yuri. "Well, for now, we'll stay by Vivi's side for now." and Yuri nodded in reply.

"This is not the time to panic...I must get the princess on-board the cargo ship somehow. Then we can head back to Alexandria Castle." and Zidane voice spoek to him.

"Yo Rusty, do you know where this airship's going?" he asked him and Steiner was slient for a minute. "L-Lindblum, yes, to Lindblum" Zidane was surprised. "That's convenient! Did you ask someone?"

Steiner pointed to the shack down the field. "th-The old man in the shack told me! So it must be true!" and Zidane replied. "You're acting strange..."

Yuri looked in the direction paine was looking at as well as Steiner. "Something's coming this way!" he said to them.

OOC: Recap?

OCC: Garnet and her bodyguards have been taken by Zidane, they went through the Evil Forest and the Ice Cavern, and are about to fight Black Waltz No. 2. Jecht is taking care of Vivi as atonement to never being there for Tidus.

A black mage similar to the one Zidane fought in the Ice Cavern flew toward them. "Stand aside, you fool. I am taking the princess back to the castle."

Zidane took out his daggers and stared at the black mage. "You were all sent by the castle!?" Steiner was surprised to say the least and spoke "What? What are you talking about?!"

Zidane kept his eyes on the black black. "You were all unconscious from the blizzard. He said he was a Black Waltz!"

[Aerith G.]

"Alright, Vivi, lets show this big mean black mage what real black magic is!" Yuna and Rikku changed to Black Mage as Paine was still in her Black Mage dress. Yuna and Vivi cast Fire, Rikku cast Thunder, and Paine cast Blizzard.

Steiner drawn out his sword. "Wait! I, Steiner, shall escort the princess back to the castle!" and he charged at at teh Black Waltz after it used it's superior speed to avoid the elemental attacks and fired off a Blizzard at Rikku before being cut by Steiner, damaged a little but then ice was cut by Yuri who somehow got in front of Rikku in time.

"Not while I'm around." he simply said as Zidane leapt at the Black waltz and tired to slash as him but the Black Waltz cast Thunder upon the him and Zidane was sent flying back.

Garnet cured him while Jecht did a Blizzard sword with Vivi.

"Wh-Why!?" he lay on the ground as his eyes closed as he died and Yuri breathed a bit as Steiner did notice the attack "You...switched hands midway through that attack..." He was a bit surprisred as he sleathed his sword as Yuri smiled. "Shigure Souen Style 5 Samidare, I slash digionlly and midway I switch my sword to the other hand as it also puts off the timing off my opponents."

Steiner was impressed to say the least but Zidane noticed Dagger was worried and Steiner looked at the princess. "No, it can't be! it was just another crinminal trying use you for some evil deed!" As Steiner looked at Zidane as the said man looked at everyone. "Shall we rest or get on?" he asked them.

"We'll last get some rest." Yuna headed for the inn to see her adopted child.

Zidane nodded at Yuna and walked to the inn with everyone as he noticed the innkeeper was still lying on his desk. "He's out cold..." he said to hismelf and poked him awake as the innkeeper stared at Vivi "I thought they captured it already." he thought to himself.

Zidane knew what the guy was thinking and had an idea. "Hey I know the girls are cute but it's rude to stare." as the man sweatdropped. "Oh, no, I wasn't staring at the young ladies..." he noticed Jecht and Braska's stares look and he gulped. "Th-the room is through the door..." "...Stay calm!"

Zidane nodded and walked through teh door as Yuri followed and Zidane chuckled. "That was priceless!"

Yuna hugged her child and sighed. She sat on the bed.

Yuri pulled out his leath with the sword still in as he sat on a chair as Steiner looked at them. "m-Maybe we should get some early sleep for teh trip to Lindblum tomorrow!" Steiner got into a chair and closed his eyes.

Zidane looked at him. "Well, Rusty's right, we didn't rest much ever since from the trip from Evil Forest to here and we fought a Black Waltz." Zidane lied on his bed, closing his eyes as Yuri didn't notice Rikku taking short looks at him as he moved around as little in teh chair and put his sleathed sword in his arm and soon drifted off to sleep.

Rikku fell asleep with her cousin and the other Gullwings in the corner of the room. Dagger took the other bed, Jecht sat next to Vivi's bed. Yuna thought she might find him in Lindblum or even in the village.

At some time during midnight, Yuri's eyes opened up slightly as he heard breathing all round and he stood up before sliently walking otu of the inn and strenched himself and sat down underneath the window of the inn as the cold breeze blew slightly.

A soft and beautiful melody by a pair of female voices could be heard.

Yuri's ears heard the melody and he listened to it. "Who is doing this?" He looked up at the window and looked through.

The melody continued for awhile than stopped.

Yuri wondered what that tune was as he couldn't see who sung it and he strenched. "Time to head back in I suppose" he crepped back in and settled himself back into the chair and soon, sleep fell upon his eyes once again.

Yuna woke up when the room was lit and stretched.

Zidane was awake as well as he got off his bed and brushed out the creases while Steiner was standing at the door, awake as well as he looked at the others. "Still asleep huh?" Zidane said to himself as Yuri moved slightly and opened his eyes.

Vivi and Jecht woke up and Braska escorted the princess to the door. Yuna carried her child on her back after changing to Warrior, Rikku changed to Thief and followed her. Paine followed as well.

Zidane and Yuri followed as did Steiner until they reached the airship. "Wait here while I go inside and ask the people to see if we can hitch a ride." but Steiner spoke up

"I-I shall go and ask them!" He said and Zidane was suspicious. "Oh, really. how come?" he asked him. "Th-This si not your benefit! I am onyl doign this for the princess!" And with that said, Steiner ran aboard the airship.

"Zidane, do you think this airship is really going to Lindblum?" Dagger asked.

Zidane heard Dagger's question. "No. It'll probably take us straight to Alexandria Castle."

"What? Why are we getting on a ship not heading for Lindblum?"

[Protecter212]

"Yeah I know, trust me!" Zidane tapped his chest and noticed Vivi being nervous. "Vivi, they may look a little like you but they are just dolls." Zidane said to him and the airship's propellers started up suddenly.

"It's moving." Yuri said and Zidane looked up at the airship. "What the heck is Steiner up to?" Zidane looked at Dagger. "All right, we have to get on, Dagger." Dagger was about to speak but ZIdane continued. "I don't have time to explain."

Zidane ran for the ladder and waved his hand. "This way!"

Everyone followed him.

Zidane nodded at everyone. "Quick get on!" he said as Yuri nodded and climbed up only to soon be followed by Vivi, Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Yuna's child, Braska and Jecht as Dagger was still hesitant as Braska, Paine, Yuna and her child, and Braska entered the airship plaform to give more space.

"Hurry up!" He said to Dagger who shook her head. "You have nothing to worry about, hurry before she takes off! I'll take you Lindblum I promise!" Zidane ran behind Dagger and pushed her on the ladder and just as soon she started to climb, Zidane jumped on and his hand reached for Dagger's behind. "Oooh soft..."

The airship begun to take off as the two climbed up onto the plaform as Zidane had his hand behind his head. "Oh come on, it's not like I did it on purpose."

"Enough, please." Dagger said, with a royal tone again.

Zidane looked at him. "Well, how about you go inside, I'm sure Jecht is in there." he said to him.

Vivi nodded and went inside. Dagger and her guards followed.

Zidane watched a sthe door shut in frotn of him. "I get the feeling she doesn't quite trust me yet...Maybe she'll reward me with a kiss or two if I try hard enough." he said under his breath and the door opened as Dagger was looking at him.

"Wow, already!? he thought to himself.
