I think it's a gameshark version 1.2, What do I need to do/get. I am also wondering about compatability with swap magic 3. I would rather not order a new code disk online, so if recommending a new cheat device is all that can be done, please tell me one I can get at a wallmart or gamestop. The help is MUCH appreciated, I've been trying this for quite some time now and am getting pretty upset about it.

i have many different versions of GS and i have this version, that M code 100% works you must be entering the codes wrong oor you must have the wrong universal character mod

remember your version of GSv1 takes RAW codes

Am I supposed to replace the xxxx, then convert it to ARMAX using the MAXConvert, then tag on the rest of the code after it? Since we don't know the Re:COM CodeID, I've gotten a little confused on how to go about doing this...

Could someone tell me how to go about getting that first line into the ARMAX format? Or telling me the whole ARMAX code for "Multiply EXP by 64" in Re:COM would be just as helpful if you think that would be easier.

I've been gone for a while...

And if I learned anything through code testing...

Do not use the All Weapons code...During Roxas: You will automatically freeze at a fight, Sora: ...You can't access Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden easily...I will freeze during that...

Use the item code ONCE but only when you become Sora or else it will greatly increase the chance of freezing as Roxas in the beginning of the game...Once you have the items...Use the but then save and restart the game without that code...And throw them away so it is safe to open chests and such

Do not use Roxas in a battle against Larxene/Lexaeus/Vexen with the Terra code for Donald and Goofy unless you like getting smacked into the air every second of the fight

Cloud (x2) in your team makes Org. XIII data fights VERY easy...Except Demyx with the water thing...That you still can't avoid at all...And will freeze in the Xemnas battle quickly...In the Xigbar battle if he changes the grounds shape...They will for some reason fall through it

Using MaxConvert, the Game ID for them was actually 0001 (USA), so that was basically why my ARMAX was yelling at me (KH2:FM also uses 0001, so it must have assumed it was the same game). I also had to set the left side to AR2v1/GS2v1 for it to convert the "raw code" to the ARMAX code that actually didnt get spat at by the cheat device, and so I got the "multiply exp" code working...

So thats what you do if you want ARMAX Re: Chain of Memories codes.

(I also saw that there was no code for increasing Moogle Points or multiplying the amount that you pick up. If anyone has spare time or anything, that would be the code I would love to see appear).

If you're trying to use AR MAX codes, I think there's one of two problems that might be happening with you.

1) You have other custom codes on a game that uses the GameID 0001.
2) You can get Final Mix + to work, but not Re: COM (or vice versa) because the AR MAX codes in the first post for both games use the GameID 0001.

Unfortunately, you need to download MaxConvert from somewhere if you want to have codes that have a different GameID.

So, I suggest you get that, then take the master code in raw format (the ones that are at the top of the first post in "XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX" format). Might as well take all the codes in raw format you want to use later also, I guess...

Then change the GameID to some number that you think is not being used (and the region to Japan if you want to be anal about it...). Then change the top left combo box to "AR2v1/GS2v1" and the top right combo box to "AR MAX". Paste the raw master code at the big huge list box on the left, then hit convert. Then try the new AR MAX code that appears on the right in your AR MAX.

If that works, celebrate as you repeat the same steps above with all your other raw codes that you want to try out. Make sure you remember the GameID and Region that you use with this game. Also, make sure you use a different GameID when you use codes for the other game.

If you're trying to use AR MAX codes, I think there's one of two problems that might be happening with you.

1) You have other custom codes on a game that uses the GameID 0001.
2) You can get Final Mix + to work, but not Re: COM (or vice versa) because the AR MAX codes in the first post for both games use the GameID 0001.

Unfortunately, you need to download MaxConvert from somewhere if you want to have codes that have a different GameID.

So, I suggest you get that, then take the master code in raw format (the ones that are at the top of the first post in "XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX" format). Might as well take all the codes in raw format you want to use later also, I guess...

Then change the GameID to some number that you think is not being used (and the region to Japan if you want to be anal about it...). Then change the top left combo box to "AR2v1/GS2v1" and the top right combo box to "AR MAX". Paste the raw master code at the big huge list box on the left, then hit convert. Then try the new AR MAX code that appears on the right in your AR MAX.

If that works, celebrate as you repeat the same steps above with all your other raw codes that you want to try out. Make sure you remember the GameID and Region that you use with this game. Also, make sure you use a different GameID when you use codes for the other game.

If all that doesn't work, I don't know what else to say because this is exactly how I got all my stuff working.

well this method is actually kinda bad since the game could get scratched ( especially if it's your first time doing it ) it's called the hard disc. swap

here's what you do..

1) unscrew the top of your PS2 and take it off ( i know this seems like it will hurt you PS2 but i won't, mine still does the same thing and you can see the disc. spin =P )
2) tape down the sensors so the disc. will spin ( ones right by the power button and the other is to the top left of where you place the disc. )
3) put in a normal PS2 game ( NOT the import )
4) once the screen says "playstation 2" you must remove the disc. ( yes while it spins ) and put in the import copy ( this is where it can damage the disc since the middle thing is still spinning but every 2 seconds it will stop for a half of a second so you MUST BE QUICK! )
5) give it a minuite and your game will load

NOTE: do not try this on final mix, try it with games you don't like until you get good at it

I tried the codes on the previous pages (that EvilMan_89 have posted with the digits) and I translate them for AR max and they all work, I'm just wondering if roxas with black coat is playable, and if it's possible if somebody knows the digit for him, because he is in the jiminy's journal and maybe it can be possible and so fun ^^

For Roxas I survived during 20 minutes against Terra (with One keyblade of course, because he has guard) but it's very difficult to hit him because Roxas is very slow when we play with him.

One another details if you trie to play with roxas one keyblade you must unactive the dodge roll because if you use it it will crashed the game.

do me a favor....try it in battle. i wna see if that one is glitchy like the Final Form and Valor Form w/ Normal Command menu codes. do combo finishers and see if the game freezes or not

Kay. I tried it now and it worked. Did Quick Run on accident, restarting my game now to test the battle.

Works.

The only thing that doesn't if you select Limit Form again the limits won't come. Even without the Full Party code (if there is one), the party members are there in a fight where it's a solo fight, the other party members join you if have this code on.

Game freezes after the cutscene where they pwn Xemnas.

just as well, I don't really know how to get them off the computer. I have the Action Replay Max and that other disk that comes with it for this type of thing,... but I really don't know how to use MaxDrive.

but, Slyzer, if you have the AR Max, you need to put in a UBS storage device in your PS2 and then go to Max memory at the AR Max menu and do what it says to put info from the memory card you have in slot 1 or 2 onto the UBS storage thing.

I think that will do it.

If you havent got passed the Roxas fight you can't get it. If you have use the Keyblade he mentions above, (The one you get after beating roxas) This makes it very easy.

yeah, it's the Terra song. You can get any song from the game. (the final mix songs are from digit "3F" to "51") But, when I use digit 43, it always comes up as Rage Reborn; and when I use 42 it comes up as The Other Promice. I just wanted to make sure you didn't get the wrong song.

(oh, and Rage Reborn sometimes hangs the game) And, Evil, or Jlhack, (or anyone) is there a BGM mod for RE:CoM? (I would like to have the Graceful Assasin and Lord of the Castle for my music)

You can only use one of the Final Mix+ mastercodes (first is FM+ mastercode second is Re:CoM mastercode) so get rid of the FM+ codes and you will be fine

Seems I'll have to post anyway..

I'm sorry if this has been said often..
After 4 hours of searching a good Mastercode it was right under my nose

"Why is this so hard for everyone?" < Hero of the Day had spoken.

Then I found out.. that you can play as Roxas now. <WTFANYONE?!>
So I added that code to my codebreaker 9.2..

But now for the questions.
Does the Roxas code not work in Roxas his storymode? <AKA Dual Wield>

Somehow I managed to convert some Action Replay Max codes to Codebreaker. and got Terra and Roxas <Boss> in my team.

I was happy with that! but I really wanted Roxas.
So I've like searched for another 4 hours for the right convertion.

And I've tried like all the Roxas codes <With Joker/ Without Joker> with 1 keyblade with 2 keyblades. and it just keeps me with a black screen.

Or just nothing at all.. and I wonder .. could someone provide me with the perfect converted

this is a question I asked on codemasters:
is there a way to get all the cut scenes that Square took out but were in the pro-mo vid. for KH2.
