yes, as can i, however, the buck stops there. there is absolutely no use for one of those file types outside the game and viewer. i was rather wishing to do some fun stuff with the models, like heartless danceing the thriller or whatever. also, did you get any nobody models from khii? i don't think i did (nor heartless for that matter...)

from what i've read (no experience mind you), hyper cam IS a screen capture program. no camera involved.

i had same problem. i was lookin at my junk and i saw that my 'iso' was only 5kb. not only that, but it was an mdl file. wierd. anyway, i made a new iso file that was actually an iso and it worked fine. should be 2900mb. be prepared for that, and the ton of memory that the models themselves will take.

my problem is that i can't rip the models from the viewer with 3d ripper (modelviewerwx starts but doesn't have the 3dripper 'ready' thing, and doesn't rip, and wxd3d9 doesn't even start.) and i have one of the newest computers on the market.

    ...
so, check to make sure ur files are the right kind and all that. also, i selected both files and draged them over teh dumper (at the same time). i didn't even know you could double click it....

okay. i've searched untill my eyes hurt. there seems to be no help on the net without asking the question myself, so here goes.

i have ripped all of the models from the games, both I and II, now my problem lies with modelviewer. i really don't understand it. if i just open modelviewerwxd3d9 (from now on refered to as mv2) alone, it opens and functions just fine. 3d model ripper runs fine. everything is fine..........

UNLESS I TRY TO RUN THEM TOGETHER!!!!!:yelling::guns:>(HATE!
i have one of the newest computers on the market, and run windows 7. if my video card doesn't meet the requirements, then noones does, so it's not that. i has a ton of ram. so that isn't a problem. and, like i said, both programs will start just fine. when i start them together on my computer, it doesn't do anything at all.... period. when i start it on my dad's xp laptop, it says that the program had to close or something like it. and i know that the programs will work with eachother just fine because i ran it on my friend's laptop and managed to get some models converted

but i can't exspect to use my friends compter forever, can i?

so any help out there? oh, and i've tried changing the compatability of the program to xp as well. didaly squat.
