    | Kingdom Hearts: Switch Beat – Chapter 0 'Prologue'
    |---------------------

The fiery red sun was settling over the Destiny Islands, casting a light ember glow across the isolated islands and turning the otherwise clear crystalline ocean into a dark-blue, depth-less mass. The few clouds hanging overhead were burning with the intensity consisting to that of a nasty bruise. On one of the smaller islands, a small group of people had gathered at a rather second-rate dock, consisting of just barely compatible lengths of splintering planks and cracked logs, showing amateurish craftsmanship. The group of people consisted of six members in total, two female and the rest male.

“Alright, We should probably head back before it gets too dark, we don't want another damaged boat like the last one when we went home too late. Not to call anybody out, but Wakka and Tidus won't be manning a boat by themselves for a bit.” called out one of the males, giving a humored laugh.

Most noticeable at the head of the group, that is, closest to the dock, the male had light-brown spiked hair protruding in various directions, complimented by brilliant light-blue eyes set into his face. He was wearing a pair of heavy pitch-black jean trousers, a bit too long and overlapped near his red-and-black sneakers. A pure clean white shirt hung from his torso loosely and was accented with a open dark-gray canvas jacket that covered the lengths of his arms to his wrists. Hanging by a bright silver chain from his leather belt, five yellowy-pink seashells had been bound together to form the foundation of a star, a small face had been drawn onto the highest one and a small wooden crown was set in the center.

Two of the other three males gave a sly grin with closed eyes, holding the backs of their heads with their hands as they chuckled nervously. The tall one had bright orange hair sprouting from his head with a light-blue headband wrapped hugging his forehead, he was wearing a pair of bright yellow multi-pocketed cloth pants, a white sleeve-less shirt, and a pair of green sandals. The other had messy sandy hair arcing from its original straight path to his shoulders. He was wearing a white shirt, with a sandy canvas tunic, with long dark blue pants slightly hiding a pair of black shoes.

Two short giggles broke out from the two teenage girls, apparently amused. One of the girls had long rose-red hair, reaching down the shoulders of her thin build and ending around her average-formed chest, bright-blue eyes were set onto her slender face. She was wearing a white buttoned blouse with a light pink skirt reaching a little under halfway to her knees. Around her left wrist, a flat silver crown has been threaded onto a small chain-link bracelet. The other girl had light-brown hair breaking off oddly away from her neck, a few bangs just ending above peridot-green eyes. She was wearing a odd yellow-and-black outfit, looking overly sturdy but with unfitting frills.

The last male walked forward chuckling as he looped his arm around the orange-haired male's neck in a playful choke hold.

“Alright Sora, I'll take this loser and beat him into shape, you take care of the other.” He sneered before ruffling the other male's orange air.

The male had shoulder-length smooth silvery-blue hair, not the kind that old folks developed but the kind that stood out, showing a certain degree rebellion and freedom. Bright aquamarine eyes beamed from behind the gaps in the bangs of his overflowing hair. He was wearing dark, rugged jeans and a worn sleeve-less t-shirt that revealed his arms brimming with the strength of a teenage youth. His feet were housed by a pair of white runners and a band of white cloth was wrapped around his left arm. Finally, adorning his black belt by red thread were two small pieces of crystal, one black as midnight and the other white as paper.

The whole group shared a small moment of laughter, the seemingly endless days of summer on the Destiny Islands had returned in full force washing away the events of the previous year and a half. As the laughter died, the group split itself three ways and took to preparing the boats before eventually pushing off and making the short row back to the mainland.

In the frigid midnight air, Sora stared up to the dark star-filled night from atop his twin-sized bed clad in only a pair of long striped white-and-gray pajamas. Most of his previous clothing had been stuffed into the already overflowing laundry basket, except for the seashell ornament which was positioned on his bed's headboard. The digital clock on his bedside table displayed that the day had already changed. A certain despair was welling up inside his heart as he continued to watch the twinkling limit-less lights.

“It's over already... Isn't it.” He muttered quietly, before pressing away from the window and huddling up under his bed's freezing cold covers.

Chapter notes: Alright, A while ago I talked of a story, and here it is, well, the prologue anyway. Not even really, this is more of a pilot chapter, to let you people point out some of the flaws, whether in the grammar/spelling or in the KH Storyline. That way, I don't butcher some of the actual story. You're probably going to point out some odd aspects, and before you go off, let me tell you. Most of it has a purpose, or will have a purpose. Just so you know, I'm not very good at conveying creativity, I often get writer's block (Not even, its called 'Novice Nerves') because I don't know how to implement a plot element very well. (I've been working on this plot since July, and its about 25% done).
Last note, the title is that for a reason, It isn't clear in the prologue but will become evident eventually... hopefully.

Note: Chapter one won't be posted until feedback is received.

Ethershade here, or eShade for short if you want. My main talent is with computers, especially with the PAWN embeddable programing structure. Recently I've noticed I have quite a lot of inspiration for something creative, except whenever I touched a pen to paper or opened the OO writer, my mind would go blank. So about two days ago I was thinking of ways I could convey my idea, and then it hit me like a tonne of bricks! I'm going to implement it into an alternative Kingdom Hearts Storyline.

Currently I'm working on the part about 20% through the story and I'm going to rewind from there. ( Odd writing style? :-\ ) Anyway, After this section is done I'll upload it. I can guarantee something interesting for everyone, at least I hope so :/
