Okay well, I've been diagnosed with Dysthymia (mild anxiety) since childhood. Normally, I'm unaffected by it. I've months at a time without feeling anxious at all, but there have been minor incidents where I've had the attacks and needed to get help for them. Last month, I was feeling EXTREMELY paranoid and anxious at night, I felt like a child. Every little sound, movement, shadow, and dark space would frighten me to the point of not being able to move. However, that went away after awhile, and I haven't felt like that for a few weeks. I went into the grocery store yesterday, and I started feeling very...off. My heart was racing, palms sweating, and I felt like there were just too many people there and everyone was staring at me. That has never happened to me before. Thing is though, I have been staying at home for the past couple weeks, so maybe I just need to get used to having a large amount of people around. What do you guys think, is this something I need to get more help for, or should I just give it time and see how it goes? Thanks. (:
