Welcome to the Nurito Region. This vast area is known for its great food, wonderful people, and... it’s mystical gems that grant Pokemon special abilities beyond its limitations. Eight have currently been discovered within the region and Seven have been acquired. Each Crystal is unique in its own way and only the most experienced trainer can use them correctly.

Not all is at peace though. An organisation known as Team Jewl (Not Jewel, JEWL) tries to conquer the world using the abilities from these crystals. Thankfully only two of the crystals are in the hands of them. Those two crystals make a big impact on things however. They will stop at nothing to acquire each and every one.

A new crystal was discovered within Mount Lunar. No one could claim it, however. The first man to ever get close to the crystal was vaporized in an instant. The only reason people know of its existence is because a research team was sent into that area. They returned preaching to everyone about the dangers of that area. The Pokemon within the mountain were also much more powerful than any others within the region. It is believed that only one trainer worthy of the crystal may obtain its power and wisdom.

Team Jewl has caught on to these ideas too. The only thing preventing those from entering are the pillars of ash surrounding the mountain. The pokemon in the area are also very aggressive and will attack any trainer who comes within range of the territory. The trainers who have already acquired a crystal, believe they are more than worthy to claim the stone; Team Jewl feels the same way.

"Come on out Flygon." Gray said as he tossed his pokeball int he air and released the pokemon inside. He still remembered how he got him. During some of his exploring he'd come across a stone with a Flygon guarding it. Since it was obvious that the Flygon wasn't going to give it up without a fight he called out his Scizor and the two pokemon battled. Eventhough Scizor won the fight, the Flygon put up a serious battle so Gay decided to catch it and have it tag along with him. Grabbing the crystal he turned and left towards a pokemon center. Finishing reminiscing he took one more look at his pokemon before putting it back in it's pokeball. "You sure put up a fight."

 

The story behind Serah:

Serah was walking through the caves within Mount Eon with her silver Eevee sitting on her shoulder as well as her Kirlia standing next to her. "Father said that the crystal was in these caves. I wonder what it might do? I have heard rumors about other trainers obtaining the crystals and their pokemon gaining new abilities that only they could handle." Serah looked at Eevee and smiled. This Eevee was given to her by her father. He was an Eevee breeder. At one time he was a gym leader. He was the last step before trainers reached the Pokemon League. She turned toward Kirlia. "Are you alright? I hope your head isn't hurting again." Her Kirlia had a tendency to have large headaches that ruined her ability to fight and even walk. It was as if a Psyduck had been her mental state. This Kirlia she had was found by the end of the road severely injured. Serah mended its wounds and the Kirlia would never leave her side again. The two had grown quite attached.

Serah was walking into the passage way to a large waterfall and pond. Her and her pokemon ran to the stream coming down from the the pond to get a drink of water. "Let's relax for a bit you guys. We have a whiles way until we find the Crystal that is supposedly in here." While she and her pokemon were resting, a wild Swampert jumped from the pond and attacked. It was only defending its territory but it still attacked and Serah needed to defend herself. "Kirlia, quick and use Double Team, Eevee use shadow ball afterwards!" The attacks were executed but the Swampert was hardly damaged by the attacks. Serah shouted out more orders, but everything was barely harming it. The Swampert used Muddy Water, pushing Serah and her Pokemon into the waterfall that unveiled a secret cave. A crystal was sitting on a pedestal. "I-is this the crystal...? Quickly, Eevee, use the crystal!" Eevee grabbed hold of the crystal and it evolved into a Leafeon. "W-what is this? You're a Leafeon now? Um, alright? Leafeon, use Magical Leaf on the Swampert!" Leafeon's leaf-like areas on its body began to glow in a rainbow colour. The leaves shot out and the Swampert was KOd. "Way to go! Now let me take the crystal back." Serah took the crystal from and Leafeon transformed back into an Eevee. "So the crystals power is to make specific Pokemon evolve but only when the crystal is attached to them. Cool." With that, she maneuvered out of the cave and returned to her home town.

 

Simon smirked. "Heal...Frends...Please.." Simon learned this little bit to ask the lady at the red building help his Pokemon family. He was abandoned at birth by reckless parents who wanted nothing but thrills. Um... OK... I will heal your Pokemon now. Simon handed his family over to the lady at the counter, and soon she healed them. "Thank... You..." He managed to sputter out. He left the center and headed towards a near by mountain, his next mission for the team was to try and retrieve this Jewel thingy. He could care less, but as he learned, In the city's, you need money. Team Jewl was paying him enough to have food and a home. This was difficult for him as he spoke very little English, but can speak each Pokemon's language fluently.
