    Who here has read all five books in the amazing Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy? IMO they are among some of the funniest books in existence. Written by the great Douglas Adams who must have had a mind of a complete genius (or raving mad loony), they take random to a whole new level. So, anyone? :roll:

    *waves hand* MEEE!!!

    The middle one is my favorite--Life, the Universe, and Everything. The first two were great, too. The last two were okay, but I found them really kind of depressing.

    Oooh, I read The Resurant At The End of The Universe not too long ago. The second book in the trilogy of five books. Just the sub-title of the last book made me laugh XD

    They really are some of the best and most imaginative books I've ever read. I second Vertigo Heaven in that they really are worth reading.

    And of course that is the answer, but what is the question? Ah ha!

    My favourite line: There is a theory that states that whenever someone finds out what the universe actually is, it will automatically mutate into something a lot more complex and harder to understand. There is another theory that states that this has already happened.

    ^_^

    Also very sad that Adams is dead ;.;

    The fourth ones ending was sad though...

    True. He was a great, funny, towel-slinging man.

    "...the best drink in existence, the Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster, the effect of which is said to resemble having one's brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick."

    XD That is just pure win.

    They didn't interest me that much. I read the first and second, but nothing more than that. It just seemed kinda slow.

    And how the President of the Mid-Galactic Arts Nobbling Council survived a Vogon poetry reading only by gnawing one of his own legs off. I mean, who comes up with something like that? xD

    Yeah, the movie could have been so much better. I wouldn't say it sucked, just that it didn't capture the feel of the book.

    Some American ******* censored a couple of lines, and now my native country of Belgium is the worst insult in the entire universe...
    Other than that, good books.
