Has anyone ever read these awesome books?

Darren Shan is one of my favorite authors, because he's so... gory in a way.

    Lol,

I would reccemend them. This guy Darren Shan is so good, he's the only author that I like that writes gory things. Blood and guts flying everywhere. ;D

I've read his Cirque Du Freak series, and I can say that that's one of my favorite series of books I have ever read.

I've read the first two books of Demonata, but I haven't gotten a chance to read anymore =\

I've heard the Demonata books are good.

But I'm a Cirque Du Freak fan. I was lucky enough to meet Darren Shan in person last Halloween.

I've read all his books on horror up to date.

    They're quite good.

I think that Lord Loss is the best though.

    Really gory, and extremely descriptive.

the Demonata is ****ing epic, I just finished reading the latest books and I can't wait for Hell's Heroes :'D

I think sometimes the plot goes a bit weird but Shan is an awesome author and although the books don't scare me the goriness (is that a word?) makes them epic to read.

    I adore Bec 8D <3

I found some interest in the cirque du freak novels, as I simply can't pass a vampire book by without stopping for a quick flick through the pages.
I now own all of them, and I would say they are rather good.

As for the Demonata books, I'm unsure. I got to Wolf Island, and I began to find his writing a little young for me; I'm all for complex sentences and detailed descriptions. I just didn't find it satisfactory from then on.
