Voice Over for King Mickey has Passed Away

I just reported this on the main page, but I thought I would also add it in here.
The voice over (Wayne Allwine) who voiced as King Mickey for the Kingdom Hearts series has passed away. It was said that Wayne had complications from diabetes. My wishes go out to his family and his wife (who's currently the voice of Minnie Mouse) for this hard time that they are going through.

 

We won't have to worry about Mickey's voice suddenly being gruff as balls in his next cartooon, since Disney trains replacements and all that, but this is still pretty sad, he was great at what he did.

I grew up with the man's voice, it feels weird that he's not around any more.

 

Yeah, it's pretty sad. My condolences to his family and wife (She does Queen Minnie? I never knew...).

 

It's weird, hearing things like this...it feels like the character, Mickey Mouse himself, died with him...it won't be the same.

 

I find an interesting irony that he and his wife were both Mickey and Minnie. Disney will have a replacement voice actor standing by yes...but this is still a sad day for Disney

Dude... I was just thinking about this a few days ago... I'm not even kidding. D8 Awww, that's so sad. T_T He was one of my idols for voice acting too.

 

It sucks when anybody dies, let alone someone who actually did something relevant to you. But it happens, no matter how much it would suck, everyone's gotta die someday.

Well this sucks. It's a shame he passed away. But, it was cute that he and his wife voiced Mickey and Minnie. He'll be missed.​

 

Kind of depressing. I grew up with this voice actor, and like Cyanide said, it's weird knowing he isn't around anymore.

 

this is a very sad time. Disney more then likley hasnt had such a blow like this since Walt himself passed away.

R.I.P Wayne Allwine. I hate it when they change the characters voices. It takes me forever to get used to the new voices. >|

 

Oh no. I just made another thread about Mr. Allwine's death. Dang it.

Oh, no! That's so depressing. RIP Wayne Allwine. My condolences to his family, friends, and all those that loved him. Let's hope he's enjoying himself, wherever he is now.
