So the computer I had throughout jr. high and the earliest years of high school was like a decade old and we didn't have internet. In other words, it was a large CD Player (it didn't even have WMP ; ;). Except for the snes emulator and roms I had on a CD, it was useless. I finally got a somewhat decent computer with internet my last year in high school because I needed one. Of course, the internet was entirely slow (mostly because the computer wasn't that new itself) and I would have to go across the street to my aunt's and use hers. Last year, when I started college, the computer finally gave out. It would just restart out of nowhere. It started happening just a few seconds after starting up. It got to the point where I couldn't do anything. I had no time between restarts to shut it down, or press a key so I just unplugged it. I gave that one to my little sister and my mom's friend looked at it. He minimized the restart time to about 20 minutes between restarts so she can listen to music or play my snes games lol BUT I GOT AN AWESOME LAPTOP AND IT WAS ONLY ABOUT 443 DOLLARS. Except it blue-screened about 35346433 times in two weeks, but that was the anti-virus' fault somehow and I fixed it myself. But it broke in the end of the year ; ; like a wire got loose so the power button only worked sometimes so I couldn't turn it off or it'd take me anywhere from 2 seconds to an hour to get it to turn on. Then finally, the wire got completely loose and I can't turn it on at all. Oh, and this happened the day BEFORE I RETURN TO COLLEGE. But my roommate was a friend of mine so I used his desktop. The idiot is throwing his life away and dropping out, but letting me keep his desktop until my laptop gets fixed. Of course his desktop is crappy as well (for some reason, he took a side off the tower) and one day, kept turning off on me. It did it again tonight. But now it says the "system32" file or whatever is missing or corrupted and I can't do anything at all on it ; ; AT least my dorm has a computer lab and the library has free laptop rentals. But I miss my gateway ; ;
Dang, that sucks... :\ And lol, I wonder if he was listening to music while taking a shower, since I do that in the mornings. : P (With my laptop)
Not in my dorm, but at home yeah xD I even had it set it up by the window so no one could see inside the bathroom >> Actually, the last time it turned off was during one such time.
Anybody who doesn't do that is weird. When I can't take my laptop in the shower, I find someway to play music (currently my ps3) and crank it up as high it'll go while I'm showering. My suitemates hate me.
Lol, you're right, anyone would take their laptop in the bathroom with them. : P As for the 2nd option, I do that too, but with a computer and not the laptop. xD In the mornings, oh man, it's awesome. Take that, society!
