What's so great about them? Everyone tells me they're 'so great'.

 

I'm not sure, their music has always appealed to me. I guess it sounds more "human" than other electronica, if you know what I mean. And some of the music is so cool you wonder why it isn't more popular... them crazy French robots them.

If you like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, STP, and The Beatles you should check out some early Smashing Pumpkins stuff. It's amazing. Start with Siamese Dream and if you like it get Gish, If you like those get Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
