Is it gonna use the same trading system as D/P/P?

 

I always loved the music in this game! I'm going to look for my old Gameboy color Pokemon Gold and see if I can still play it. I miss it so damn much...

 

I remember I used to play Gold when I was a kid, in my opinion, gold and silver are one of the best Pokemon games besides Crystal. I'm going to get Soul Silver this time because Lugia is so much better than Ho-Oh.

 

You can get both Ho-Oh and Lugia in either game.

 

Yeah, but in silver, Lugia had Aero Blast. It wasn't in gold.

 

Actually, with the ability to teach pokemon moves retroactively introduced in Ruby/Sapphire, you can probably teach Gold's Lugia Aeroblast and Silver's Ho-Oh Sacred Fire. Besides, Ho-Oh and sacred fire was so much cooler than Lugia anyway and this is coming from someone who only catches legendaries as collectables. I hate using them because EVERYONE uses them. How about some variety people?

Nah, I like Aeroblast is better becaus of the critical hit ratio. But Sacred Fire cold do more damage because Ho-Oh's special atk is higher and it could be powered up with sunny day.

 

I'm assuming he means you can take your HG Lugia to the Move Relearner for Aeroblast.

 

You can do that. I have a Lugia in my Platinum and I taught it Aeroblast from the move tutor.

-shrugs- it really won't matter, except SS will have a much stronger Lugia since it starts at a lower level.

 

And so my theory is proven.

Of course this really only matters to people who 1) use legendaries, 2) play competitively and 3) use legendaries competetively.

 

He's a move tutor. You bring him shards/heart scales/a certain item, and he'll teach your Pokemon a move it once learned naturally.

 

Will it still be in the same difficulties? Like totodile=easy cyndaquil=normal and chikorita=hard. also will it be like the old games where you could have any pokemon traded at any time or like now with DP where you got to get a national dex?

They must have all the extras in this game, like going to Kanto and fighting Red.

Tell that to the Cyndaquil I obtained after only having 5 badges.

 

They really should. I would dislike the game quite a bit if they didn't put back the extras.
