I miss being super special awesome ;-; I looked at my rep and felt great because it complemented me each time...

 

But now you're a Doctor Who legend. Isn't that a good thing?

 

Back when rep was first introduced, no one had that much rep (obviously), which explains why newbies seem to rise the rep ranks faster than veterans ever did - because people who give out rep are more likely to have a higher rep power.

So having a large amount of rep in a short amount of time isn't as much of a big deal nowadays. I remember being excited about having 30-50 rep points and being in the top 10 most rep'd with that, lolol.

 

Try 2500 rep in a year with less than 1,000 posts...

The point isn't the grammar, it's the content. People should only post things that add to or continue the discussion, or if they are making a thread, then only start threads that will add to or bring life to the section.

Could it be because you are socially awkward? Not sure. Or maybe they just want to be polite and make you feel like a part of the group.

There used to be a rep requirement. I actually think it should be brought back.

 

We had that back in 2007-2008. It just makes people rep whore even more
If it should be brought back, it needs to be raised to like 3000 or something.
