    Exactly. I do not feel that you deserve it at all. Having many posts and low rep is a bad sign, and should not be rewarded.

    I disagree. If you consider the idea of having posts as the requirement as unfair, then you are only making it more fair by taking it away from members who just post and instead giving it to members who post and post well.

    Rep discriminates highly against those who don't post in the Spam Zone. Regular visitors there have the highest rep.

    I scrounged up about 900 rep here in the last two years alone. Compared to the 5 years of getting 1000 mainly from the Discussion section.
