    Just then, Jimmy Forster, the most popular guy in school, decided to walk up and lean across table, blocking Mai's veiw of Shaun. "Aren't you too cool to hang out at this drab table?"

    Mia sxowled at Jimmy. "As you know, these are my friends." she pushed him out off the table. "And I sware, if you say one more thing about them I'll---"

    "Relax, babe, I wont say nothing 'bout your precious friends. but you will pay for that comment." He had said it so loud the entire lunchroom hushed. "I dare you and your group..no triple-dog-dare you guys to go into the Forest of Death in the middle of the night."
    A gasp tremored through the lunchroom.

    "And if you don't, not only will your group's reputation be lost, but you will have to pay for your comment in a more painful way."

    Mia, unphased by his sinister dare, turned to the group. "I choose the dare. Vote?"

    Shayne looked down at his own feet as he sat by the river of the Forest of death, the ball jointed marks still there - but of course he could move on his own. "Sense some change, vampyr?"

    "Yes actually ." Maica said, appearing from behind a tree that she just climbed. She didn't move any closer, she didn't trust demons at all. but running could only be worse cause for once, this stranger didn't seem to want to attack her unlike the others.
