Hero of Hyrule. Hero of Time. Hero of the Essences of Time and Nature. Hero of Winds. Hero of Men. Hero Chosen by the Gods. Chosen Hero of the Goddess.

    • The history of Hyrule is split into one Unified Timeline and then three parallel Timelines. This is because at one point of Hyrule's history, at the end of the Unified Timeline, an event happened that divided the Timeline into three. During the future of Ocarina of Time, when Ganondorf was defeated for the first time, in the future of Hyrule, by the Hero of Time, something happened. Link was sent back to the past, where he warned Princess Zelda and Ganondorf was sealed in the Sacred Realm before he could do his evil deeds. But at the moment Link went back to his childhood, never to time travel again, the timeline split. While the aforementioned events happened after he returned to his childhood, the future continued on! In the future, when the Hero of Time disappeared (in reality, traveled back to his childhood), peace was restored to Hyrule. But the future Ganondorf wasn't dead; the Sages had sealed him into the Sacred Realm as well, just as his past self was. He would escape the Sacred Realm several times over the next several centuries, each time defeated by a different incarnation of Link and Princess Zelda. However, a third Timeline also came to exist, where the future Ganondorf had instead defeated Link and obtained all three pieces of the Triforce before being sealed by the Sages.
The Ganondorf of the past, the one who conquered the Twilight Realm in the "Child Timeline" saw glimpses of the "Adult Timeline" as well as the "Downfall Timeline." He saw himself free, defeated, sealed, killed, and revived several times only to be defeated by "Link" again. How he saw this he didn't know, but he theorized the Triforce of Power was to credit. Seeing himself defeated in a different timeline by different Links and Zeldas drove him to such degrees of anger he never imagined before. If his fate was to live forever, but be defeated by Link again and again, what was the point? Were the gods playing some sort of prank on him by having a mere mortal reincarnated to defeat him, an immortal? Never again! It was time for Ganondorf to put an end to the cycle of Link. Using the power of his Triforce piece, Ganondorf broke out of the Sacred Realm. He pushed his power to the edge, as far as he could go until it happened: Ganondorf forced every incarnation of Hyrule, past, present, future, Child Timeline, Downfall Timeline, and Adult Timeline to collapse into one single Hyrule, even merging other lands where he was defeated into it. This same method brought all of his future counterparts, from all Timelines, into him and he merged with them, absorbing their power and their Triforces of Power. Ganondorf had successfully destroyed and rebuilt Hyrule in a matter of moments, becoming the King of Evil once again.

Just as Ganondorf had merged with his other time-selves, Princess Zelda merged with other Princess Zeldas. Ganondorf took this opportunity to capture her and extract the Triforce of Wisdom from her. However, due to her own divine power, Zelda was able to keep the Triforce imbued inside of her, forcing Ganondorf to put a spell on her instead. The spell forbids the Princess from escaping the castle and from attacking the new Royal Family. He also forced her to become his bride, keeping the Triforce of Wisdom under his eye until he can find a way to steal it form her. Fortunately for Ganondorf, now calling himself Black King Ganon, his plan had brought all forms of evil masterminds to his new world, which he dubbed New Hylia. Agahnim, Onox, Veran, Twinrova, Majora, Zant, Vaati, Nightmare, Bellum, and Ghirahim (whom Ganon had no memory of due to Ghirahim coming "before" him) joined Ganon as the new 'Royal Family' of Evil. The Black King separated New Hylia into different provinces and put it under the rule of a different villain.
Ganon knew that just how the Princess of all Hyrules had come to this world, so had all of the Links. He quickly built an army of monsters and hunted down the Links, who had not merged with each other due to the Triforce of Courage, and captured them. Stripping them of their weapons, he trapped them in the dungeon. He planned to kill them all and steal the Triforce of Courage from each one, but the Triforce was incomplete! Ganon realized there must still be a Link missing, one he had no memories of. If he were to kill even one Link before the Triforce of Courage was completed, he would be unable to ever complete it...so instead, he simply kept them weaponless and imprisoned until his army could find the last Link.
Then something magical happened. When all of those Links got together, a black light appeared in the castle. The light changed form to resemble a Shadow Link, though one with a personality. Shadow Link had a Mark on his left hand, just like the other Links, except his was simply the middle part of the Triforce. Unlike the other Links, Shadow Link was evil, but he had no powers of his own. Seeing an opportunity, Black King Ganon granted Shadow Link a fraction of the Triforce of Power. Shadow Link is now Ganon's top warrior. Using Shadow Link, Veran and Agahnim were able to use their magical skills to build an army of Dark Links, mindless versions of Link that follow the Royal Family's every order.
What Ganon didn't realize was that there were, in reality, two Links that he had missed. At the moment the timeline had split into the Child and Adult Timelines, so did the first Link to defeat him. Link reverted to his childhood form and had went on to stop Majora's Mask, but his future self, the Hero of Time, simply disappeared. The reason the Hero of Time escaped Ganon's hunt was because he and his child self, the Link who defeated Majora's Mask, were one and the same, split into two, sharing one childhood, but having two futures. The other Link was the original Link, Ghirahim's foe, that Ganon did know about for the same reason that he did not know about Ghirahim. The Hero of Time and the original Link caught wind of Ganon's plans and joined with a newly formed resistance. Using their information, the Hero of Time and the original Link snuck into the castle, ready to save their other selves.

    • You can find characters, items, etc. at the Zelda Wiki
      ΔRulesΔ
      1. Basic rule: My word is law. Obey each and every rule.
      2. More basic rules: No powerplaying or godmodding (even if it's hard in this RP), no obsessive swearing, romance is PG-13, be nice to others, etc.
      3. There is no OOC thread. Just this...massive thread! Separate your posts into "BIC" and "OOC," if you need to.
      4. You don't have to have played all of the games or even know everything I mention here to join. Honestly, one game is enough and even that is necessary (though encouraged. Especially if your characters are from that game!).
      5. This RP is a lot more character-based than the story based games. So every character who doesn't talk in video games (as in LINK and Bellum) will be allowed to talk here.
      6. Rule #4 means you're allowed to give your Link any personality you want as long as it fits the kind-hearted, courageous hero type.
      7. You must name your Link something other than "Link," but it has to do something with their respective game. Skyward Sword Link is the only exception.
      8. You can have THREE bad guys in the Royal Family.
      9. You can have any number of other bad guys.
      10. You can have any number of other characters in the Resistance.
      11. Any deity/god/spirit except for Valoo is unusable for a reason you'll learn soon, but they will be usable after awhile.
      12. No Original Characters.
      13. Links are the only ones whose names can be changed (and they have to be changed).
      14. Whoever wants to control White Queen Zelda, Black King Ganon, and Twilight Princess Link must be approved by me.
      15. Nobody starts with their Master Weapon (more on this later).
      16. Your Link's 'Basic Weapon' is a specific weapon from any game, but it cannot be the same as another Link (Legend of Zelda/Adventure of Link's Link and the Four Swords Links don't count for this. So you can pick the same basic weapon that one of them have).
      17. Don't complain about your Link's Master Weapon or Special Ability. Unfortunately, I worked with what the games gave me and some of them seem really unfair but I can't help that :/. If you have a better suggestion, I'll gladly hear it, but I won't promise to change it.
      18. Your Link only gets a Basic Weapon, Master Weapon, and a Special Ability. Unlike the games, you won't be obtaining every single item (LoZ/AoL Link is the only exception). Every Link except Hero of Time and Skyward Sword Link starts with a Hero's Sword and Hero's Shield. Hero of Time starts with a depowered Master Sword and a Hylian Shield and SS Link has the Goddess Sword.
      19. All Links except Hero of Time, Skyward Sword Link, and Shadow Link start in a dungeon in Black King Ganon's castle.
      20. If your Link has a 'companion,' you are allowed to play as that companion as well as your Link. Spirit Zelda and Midna can be either companions or characters in their own rights.
      21. You do not have to use your Link's companions at all.
      22. You don't have had to play the game to play as that game's character.
      23. Finally, if you want a character, all you have to do is claim him/her. For the Links, simply say which game you want, their new name and reasoning for the name, the basic weapon (unless that slot is already filled), and whether or not you want to use the companion. If your character needs to be approved, you can reserve them before I approve you.

    • A strike through the game means that the character is taken. (This is the character's new name).
(The name under the profile is RolePlayer.)

      Shards of Courage
      [IMG]
The collective name given to all of the Links. There's a total of eleven Links (not counting Shadow Link) and they all wield the Triforce of Courage. Each Link has a special ability, a specialized weapon, and a Master Weapon. Along with this, each one also has a normal shield and a Hero's Sword. Black King Ganon has taken all of these away from them. To avoid confusion, they all go by a different name that has a connection to themselves or their respective time. Each Link has the Mark of a Hero (an outline of the Triforce with the right triangle filled in) on the back of his left hand. The Mark of a Hero glows when another Triforce wielder is nearby.
      1. Legend of Zelda/Adventure of Link (Kasuto)
Basic Weapon: Normal Bow and Arrows, normal boomerang, bombs, raft, stepladder, magic rod, a recorder (musical instrument), a bottle, a boss key, and a Goron bracelet.
This Link's Special Ability is simply his capability of using so many weapons. As the first Link (game wise, not story wise), this Link gets the privilege of multiple weapons: a hero's sword, a hero's shield, a bow with normal arrows, a boomerang, bombs, raft, stepladder, a magical staff that shoots a spell, a recorder, bottle, a boss key that can open any lock, and a Goron bracelet. The raft, stepladder, and bottle are simply there because it's in the picture lol.
Master Weapon: Book of Magic. It allows him to cast fire on any of his weapons.
      This Link has no companion.
His enemy is Black King Ganon. His princess is White Queen Zelda.
      (TwilightBlader)
      2. Link to the Past/Link's Awakening (Alphon)
      Basic Weapon: Whip (Skyward Sword)
Special Ability: This Link retained his ability to transform into a rabbit form. His sword shrinks with him and is the only item he can use in this form. He is smaller (though a lot bigger than an actual bunny), a lot faster, can jump higher and farther, and has a stronger kick. He can still talk as a rabbit. In his normal Hylian form, he is faster than the other Links and can jump farther.
Master Weapon: Bomb Arrows (and a bow if not chosen for his basic weapon). He can use the arrows as normal arrows, as well. As Bomb Arrows, they explode on impact.
      This Link has no companion.
His enemies are Black King Ganon, Dark Wizard Agahnim, and Evil Shadow Nightmare. His princess is White Queen Zelda.
      (Boy Wonder)
      3. Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask (Darmani)
      Basic Weapon: Skull Hammer.
Special Ability: This Link can use the Deku Mask, Goron Mask, and Zora Mask to turn into one of those three races. The Deku form allows him to shoot bubbles and Deku Nuts, glide using Deku Flowers, use a wooden full body shield, and hop on water, but he sinks inside of water and is susceptible to fire. The Goron form makes him resistant to fire and lava, but makes him unable to venture into water. He also has increased strength, the ability to curl into a ball and roll quickly, cover his body in spikes while rolling, and do a ground pound while curled up. The Zora form allows him to swim extremely fast, breathe and walk underwater, fire his fins like boomerangs or use them like swords as well as cover himself in a bio-electric barrier. Master Weapon: Fierce Deity's Mask. Allows Link to turn to the Fierce Deity form which allows him to shoot sword beams from his Helix Sword and gives him increased power in everything. This Link's companions are the fairy siblings Tatl and Tael. This Link's enemies are Black King Ganon and Skull Kid Majora. His princess is White Queen Zelda.
      (Boy Wonder)
      4. Ocarina of Time Adult Timeline (Hero of Time)
      Basic Weapon: Bow and Arrow
Special Ability: Hero of Time can use TriMagic, or the "Magic of the Three Goddesses." Din's Fire allows him to create a barrier of fire around him and shoot a ball of fire. Nayru's Love allows him to create a crystal around him that will protect him from damage and, if shattered, cut enemies. Farore's Wind allows short teleportation (as in the same room).
Master Weapon: Powered up Master Sword that repels evil and shoots sword beams.
      This Link's companion is Navi.
This Link's enemy is Black King Ganon. His princess is Sheik.
      (Bushy Brow)
      5. Skyward Sword (Link)
This Link uses the Goddess Sword instead of the Hero Sword
      Basic Weapon: Clawshot
Special Ability: This Link is able to use the Skyward Strike that allows him to shoot weak beams of energy from his sword and summon his Crimson Loftwing for transportation.
Master Weapon: True Master Sword. The True Master Sword allows Link to use a devastatingly power-up Skyward Strike infused with the element of Lightning.
      This Link's companion is Fi.
This Link's enemy is Ghirahim. His princess is Zelda.
      (Machina)
      6. Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages (Troy)
Basic Weapon: Rod of Seasons (with no magic).
Special Ability: Season Magic. Using the Rod of Seasons, this Link can use magic corresponding to the four seasons: Winter (cold magic), Spring (water magic), Summer (heat magic), Autumn (wind magic). The Rod starts with no magic, but gains Winter early on and will eventually gain the others.
Master Weapon: Rod of Seasons with all four seasons.
      This Link has no companion.
This Link's enemies are General of Darknes Onox, Sorceress of Shadow Veran, Sorceress Sisters Twinrova, and Black King Ganon. His princess is White Queen Zelda.
      (Hero of Time)
      7. Four Swords/Four Swords Adventure (Green, Red, Blue, Vio)
Basic Weapon: Green uses a bow, Red uses a fire-rod, Blue uses a hammer, and Vio uses bombs.
Special Ability: This Link was split into four different Links during his own adventure, each with their own personality but all a part of one Link. Upon entering Hylia, Link was split into four Links again, unable to reunite.
Master Weapon: The Four Sword. It allows the four Links to reunite into one Link with all of their specialties and skills.
      This Link has no companion.
His enemies are Black King Ganon and Wind Mage Vaati. His princess is White Queen Zelda.
This Link was named in the manga, I believe, and I chose those names for him. Also, I'm aware that the official timeline uses two different sets of Links for FS and FSA since they take place in two different timelines, but I'm combining them into one set here.
      (jackdaniel0)
      8. The Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass (Gale)
      Basic Weapon: Boomerang
Special Ability: With the Wind Waker, this Link can control winds and wind related weather.
Master Weapon: Phantom Sword. Like the Master Sword, this weapon has the ability to repel evil and shoot sword beams. It can kill Phantoms as well and summon one to fight alongside him.
      This Link's companion is Ciela.
This Link's enemies are Black King Ganon and Evil Phantom Bellum. His princess is Tetra.
      (master of keyblades)
      9. The Minish Cap (Smith)
Instead of a Hero's Sword, this Link has the Picori Blade.
      Basic Weapon: Magical Boomerang
Special Ability: The ability to shrink to any size instantly when wearing the Minish Cap.
Master Weapon: White Sword. This blade allows Link to split into 4 identical Links. While they share the colors of the Four Swords Links, they're all identical and have a hive mind.
This Link's companion is Ezlo. If you do not play as Ezlo, then the cap is simply a magical cap that doesn't speak.
His enemy is Wind Mage Vaati. His princess is White Queen Zelda.
      (Hero of Time)
      10. Twilight Princess
      [IMG]
      Basic Weapon:
Special Ability: The ability to turn to a Wolf at will.
Master Weapon: Twilight Sword. The Twilight Sword allows Link to summon the Stallord, though he can't control it. If he attempts to use it while in Wolf Form, he would instead transform into the Stallord.
This Link's companion is Midna, but she can also be played as a separate character in the Resistance by a different player (with permission from whoever plays this Link).
His enemies are Black King Ganon and Usurper King Zant. His princess is Dark Zelda.
      (DarkTraitor)
      11. Spirit Tracks (Alfonzo)
      Basic Weapon:
Special Ability: This Link is able to turn into a ghost-form, seen and heard only by those he wishes (though some people may be able to notice him regardless). As a ghost, he can hover and walk through surfaces. He shares this power with Spirit Zelda
Master Ability: Lokomo Sword. Allows Link to turn into a stronger-than-average Phantom
      This Link has no companion
His enemy is Demon King Malladus. His princess is Spirit Zelda.
      (Hero of Time)
      12. Shadow Link (Shadow)
Basic Weapon: Weapon of Link that he's 'shadowing.'
Special Ability: Shadowing. He gains the special abilities, Master Weapon, and basic weapon of any Link he chooses in his close proximity. He has to stop shadowing a Link to move to another, but a certain amount of time must pass before he can switch Links.
Master Weapon: Weapon of Link that he's 'shadowing' but only if they have their Master Weapon.
This Link has no companion, enemy, or princess
      (Boy Wonder)
      Crowns of Wisdom
      [IMG]
The collective name of the six Princess Zeldas. White Queen Zelda is a merge of several Zeldas, but five other Zeldas somehow avoided the merge and joined the Resistance.
      1. Legend of Zelda/Adventure of Link - Link to the Past/Link's Awakening - Ocarina of Time Child Timeline/Majora's Mask - Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons - Four Swords/Four Swords Adventure - The Minish Cap
      (White Queen Zelda)
A merger of several Zeldas, White Queen Zelda has the strongest part of the Triforce of Wisdom. When Black King Ganon was unable to extract it from her, he cast a spell that forbade her from leaving his castle or directly attacking any member of the new Royal Family.
      (Midnight Star)
      2. Spirit Tracks (Spirit Zelda)
A bodiless soul, Princess Zelda found herself without her body once again when Ganondorf merged the Hyrules. Unlike her respective Link, she is stuck as a ghost, though it gives her the ability to possess weaker monsters and Phantoms. She can also travel through walls and remain invisible to whomever she wishes.
      (Beau)
      3. Twilight Princess (Dark Zelda)
This Zelda found herself filled with Ganon's energy from her time possessed as him, but this time she could control it. In a strange twist of fate, she wields a shard of the Triforce of Power along with the Triforce of Wisdom.
She is greatly skilled with her sword. When she's in her Dark form, she gets the abilities to hover and shoot energy spheres, as well as a general increase in her strength and speed. Unfortunately, this changes her personality and makes her more aggressive.
      (The Hero of Time)
      4. WindWaker/Phantom Hourglass (Tetra)
Tetra is an alter ego created by the Triforce of Wisdom to hide her identity as Princess Zelda. She regains the ability to switch back and forth between her Tetra form and her Princess Zelda form. As Tetra, she is agile, snarky, and skilled with her sword. As Princess Zelda, she's more elegant and wields a bow and arrow in combat.
      (Boy Wonder)
      5. Ocarina of Time Adult Timeline (Sheik)
A male alter ego that Princess Zelda created, this Princess Zelda also faded back to existence with New Hylia, like the Hero of Time. Sheik has great speed, strength, and agility, typical of a ninja. He's able to disappear in a flash by using Deku Nuts and is skilled with a small sword.
      (DarkTraitor)
      6. Skyward Sword (Zelda)
Chronologically the first Zelda, this one is no princess but is instead the mortal reincarnation of the Goddess, Hylia. Like Ghirahim and the original Link, Black King Ganon has no knowledge of this Zelda. She is constantly accompanied by her Loftwing.
      (Bushy Brow)
      Royal Family of Evil
      [IMG]
The Hylian Royal Family is led by Black King Ganon. Each one has a title and most have a kingdom in New Hylia to rule over. The family has control over monsters. An army of monsters is led by General Onox and an army of Dark Links is led by Sorceress Veran.
      1. Black King Ganon
      [IMG]
Black King Ganon rules over the entirety of Hylia from the center in Hyrule Castle. He is the leader and the most powerful of the Royal Family. To stop the selfish leaders from bickering and wanting power, he gave them each a region to rule over, though his word is above theirs. He wields the Triforce of Power which gives him unimaginable strength and god-like powers, making him near-immortal. He is also able to transform into his Ganon form at will while remaining in control of himself.
      (DarkTraitor)
      2. Dark Wizard Agahnim (A Link to the Past)
A dark wizard that Ganon corrupted. Agahnim once helped his Hyrule's king save the land from pestilence and drought using magic. He was rewarded by given the positions that of the King's chief adviser and heir to the Seven Sages (who sealed Ganon long ago). With his new authority, Agahnim disposed of the King and sent seven Maidens (descendants of the Sages) to the Dark World, including Zelda. After being defeated by Link, Agahnim allows for Ganon to escape the Dark World. In Black King Ganon's new Hylia, Agahnim serves as the Royal Family's adviser, magician, and liaison to each other. He is able to teleport from each castle to talk to each King. He has vast magical abilities that make him a formidable opponent, but his evilness and power pale in comparison to the Kings. Because of this, he is instead a loyal servant of the Black King. However, he made his home in the Temple of Time in Hyrule Castle Town.
      (Boy Wonder)
      3. Evil Shadow Nightmare (Link's Awakening)
An ancient evil that wishes for its imaginary world to exist forever so it could rule it forever. Now, in the real world, Nightmare is simply an evil force that the Royal Family uses as a 'guard dog.' Like Agahnim, Nightmare can travel freely between the castles. Nightmare has the ability to shapeshift. He can often be found on Koholint Island, terrorizing the residents.
      4. Skull Kid Majora (Majora's Mask)
Majora's Mask was once used in hexing rituals until it caused troubles so great that the mysterious tribe who used it sealed the mask. The mask was found by a Happy Mask Salesman until he was attacked and robbed by the Skull Kid, a young imp who resorted to trickery after being heartbroken and abandoned by his four Giant friends. The mask possessed the Skull Kid and tried to summon the Moon to fall and destroy the land of Termina. He would have succeeded if not for the interference of Link.
Majora has great magical skill, his abilities taking the form of pranks filled with great malice. He has the ability to transform into three alternate forms: Majora's Mask, Majora's Incarnation, and Majora's Wrath. Taking on 'Skull Kid' as a title, Skull Kid Majora isn't technically part of the Royal Family. He's more of a tolerated nuisance that aids them in evil, but also plagues them at times. Because of this, Ganon left the Kingdom of Termina to Majora, not interfering with anything Majora does as long as he keeps himself there. However, Wind Mage Vaati is given some authority in Termina so he can keep an eye on Majora. Skull Kid Majora can often be found in the kingdom of Termina or in the Lost Woods.
      (The Hero of Time)
      5. General of Darkness Onox (Oracle of Seasons)
Though he looks like an armored Hylian, Onox is in fact a Dark Dragon taking the form of a Hylian. Onox was summoned to Holodrum by Twinrova to capture the Oracle of Seasons, Din, which he successfully did. He caused utter chaos in Holodrum by throwing the seasons into disorder. He was defeated by Link, who rescued Din, but it was too late as his purpose was served: He lit the Flame of Destruction that led the way to Ganon's unsuccessful resurrection.
In Black King Ganon's new Hylia, Onox keeps his title as General of Darkness and is the head of Ganon's army of monsters. He often takes his army to Death Mountain and the Desert Colossus.
      (TwilightBlader)
      6. Sorceress of Shadows Veran (Oracle of Ages)
Though her true form is not the Twili-like form she takes, Veran appears to be a Twili sorceress. She used her ability to possess people to possess Nayru, the Oracle of Ages, in Labrynna. Her plan was to travel back in time and advise the Queen to build a tower for good reasons but she instead used the tower for evil. After being confronted by Link, she then possessed the queen. Confronted again, she changed forms and fought Link, though she lost. However, she lit the Flame of Sorrow, paving the way for Ganon's resurrection.
In the Black King's new Hylia, she keeps her title as Sorceress of Shadows and leads Ganon's army of Dark Links.
She often bases her army of Dark Links on Tal Tal Mountain Range where she can terrorize Koholint Island and stop its citizens from escaping or help from arriving.
      7. Sorceress Sisters Twinrova
      [IMG][IMG]
Like Ganon, these witch sisters transcend a single timeline. In Ganon's original Hyrule, they were his surrogate mothers until Link defeated them in the Spirit Temple. They returned hundreds of years later to revive the dead Ganon after he was killed. They used Veran and Onox to light two flames in a dark ritual, finally kidnapping Princess Zelda to light the Flame of Despair. Intending to use her as a sacrifice to resurrect Ganon, they were foiled by Link. Instead, they sacrificed themselves. The foiled ritual revived Ganon as a mindless beast to be defeated by Link once again.
In the Black King's new Hylia, they are his most loyal servants, often making sure the other Kings don't ruin Ganon's plans.
Ghirahim often has them watch over his "area" of Eldin Volcano, Lake Floria, and the Great Ice Field.
Can be controlled as one person or two. If controlled together, they count as one character.
      8. Wind Mage Vaati (The Minish Cap/Four Swords/FSAdventures)
Originally the Minish apprentice to Ezlo, Vaati stole a wish-granting cap and used it to become a powerful sorcerer so he could obtain god-like powers. He turned a Zelda to stone and set off to search for the mystical Light Force. Minish Cap Link defeats and seals Vaati into his sword. Years later, a new Zelda traveled with Four Swords Link to confirm Vaati was still sealed. Vaati escaped and kidnapped her. She was rescued and Vaati was defeated by Link, who sealed him once again. Ganon then orchestrated Vaati's second escape as a way to use him to escape his own seal, but both were defeated by Link.
In the New Hylia, he is given authority over another kingdom, Kingdom of the Ocean King. This is due to the primary force of power there, Bellum, being more of an evil force than an intelligent ruler. Vaati is tasked with keeping tabs on Bellum and his reward for this is rule over the Kingdom of the Ocean King. He is also asked to look over Termina and to keep tabs on Skull Kid Majora. Vaati has access to all five of his forms. As a reward for his loyalty, his palace floats over the Lost Woods (where he can watch over Majora), directly over Minish Village, put there for his personal amusement.
      9. Evil Phantom Bellum (Phantom Hourglass)
Like Nightmare, Bellum is an ancient malevolent force. He originally drained the Ocean King Oshus' life force until Oshus was forced to split himself and hide. He was defeated by Link using the Phantom Sword.
In the New Hyrule, Bellum rules over the Kingdom of the Ocean King with no relation to Ganon. To keep him from causing too much destruction to his world, Ganon assigns one of his Princes, the Wind Mage Vaati, to rule over the Kingdom of the Ocean King alongside Bellum. Vaati captured Oshus, the true Ocean King, and keeps him locked up where Bellum can continuously drain Oshus' life force. Bellum can change into his "BellumBeck" form when strong enough. Bellum is somewhere beneath the Isle of Ember, draining the Ocean King of his life force
      10. Demon King Malladus (Spirit Tracks)
Malladus is an ancient demon that ruled over New Hyrule until a rebellion broke out and trapped him underground, using his shackles to become Spirit Tracks, train tracks that reached across Hyrule. He was freed by Chancellor Cole and Bryne and used Princess Zelda's body as his vessel. He proceeded to kill Bryne. Before he could regain rule over Hyrule, Link and Zelda forced him out of Zelda's body. He possessed Chancellor Cole and became a giant beast, but his incompatibility with Cole's body allowed Link to destroy him.
In Ganon's new Hylia, the Tower of Spirits is fragmented and floats over the ocean, near the Desert of Doubt. Malladus can be found near these areas and rules Isle of Ember and Koholint Island above Veran, Bellum, and Nightmare. Malladus is able to possess people and shift into his "Cole" form.
      11. Usurper King Zant (Twilight Princess)
In his realm of his respective timeline, Zant was passed over for throne of the Twili in favor of Midna. He was contacted by Ganon who offered him power. Zant took the power, cursed Midna, and usurped the throne. Building an army of Shadow Beasts, he opened a portal to Hyrule and cast the Twilight Realm over the land to conquer it. He was eventually defeated by Midna and Link.
In Hylia, Zant is still known as the Usurper King, but he was given his own kingdom to rule over, which is the largest kingdom of the entire Royal Family's (next to Ganon who rules over all of it, collectively). He rules over the entire east side of New Hylia, composed of Death Mountain, Desert Colossus, Dragon Roost Island, the Great Bay, Zora Cape, Snowpeak Province, and Snowhead Island. This gives him reign over the Rito, Zora, and Goron races. However, his "home base" is a hidden castle inside Lake Hylia. He is a loyal follower of Ganon, believing him to be a God.
      12. Demon Lord Ghirahim (Skyward Sword)
Ghirahim is shrouded in mystery. Ganon has no knowledge of Ghirahim, despite having seen what he thought were all timelines and versions of Hyrule. Ghirahim keeps his past a secret, but told Ganon it's because his Hyrule was the first and it all comes back to him. His intentions are also a mystery and he has no corresponding Link. He has immense magical power, but not enough to rival Ganon. He was given the title of Prince, though he refers to himself as Demon Lord Ghirahim, and rules over Hylia beneath Ganon. He knows he was given this position so Ganon could keep a close eye on him, but he doesn't mind it. He rules over the Forsaken Fortress with the Helmaroc King. He also rules over the Great Ice Field, Eldin Volcano, and Lake Floria, but he leaves these in the care of Twinrova when he's at his fortress.
      (Bushy Brow)

      The Resistance
      [IMG]
The Resistance is formed by other characters from the series. They are a coalition that oppose the Royal Family's evil, but lack the power to defeat them. They have the Sky Spirit Valoo on their side and rumors say their goal is to get help from the other deities of Hylia. Resistance members are allowed any weapon as long it's from their game and has some connection to them. The Zeldas can be part of them (and if we can't find a good place for them to start, then they will be a part of them). They are led by Prince Komali.
      1. Prince Komali (Wind Waker)
Prince Komali shut himself from the world after his grandmother died. If it wasn't for Link saving Valoo from a torturous monster and giving Komali the self-confidence that he needed, the Rito Prince would never have earned his wings.
After the merging of Hyrules, he was the first to fight against the Royal Family, but he was deemed a non-threat. Since then, he started the Resistance, hoping to build a group large enough to fight back.
He wields a grappling hook and can (obviously) fly. He has regained Din's Pearl.
      (Boy Wonder)
      2. Valoo (Wind Waker)
The Sky Spirit of Dragon Roost Island, and the god of the Rito tribe of flying mailmen, Valoo holds a great grudge against Ganondorf for torturing him with Gohma in his own time. Similarly, he holds Link in great reverence for freeing him from Gohma. Unlike the other deities, Valoo is awake and free. At Prince Komali's wish, he guards over the Resistance.
      (Boy Wonder)
      3. Ralph (Oracle of Ages)
A childhood friend and protector of Nayru, the Oracle of Ages. Nayru offers his great swordsman skill to the Resistance because he knows firsthand what exactly Veran is capable of and is afraid of what she could do with the entire Royal Family. He also has a debt to pay to his respective Link for saving Nayru in their respective world.
      (TwilightBlader)
      4. Bryne (Spirit Tracks)
A Lokomo apprentice that defected in order to revive the Demon King Malladus in his version of Hyrule, Bryne eventually realized the error of his ways and redeemed himself by assisting his Princess Zelda. Unfortunately, he was killed in the process. It was revealed that Bryne would eventually return with no memories of his prior life...which has happened in New Hyrule. An amnesiac Bryne has joined the Resistance due to an innate hatred towards Malladus and a subconscious will to protect Spirit Zelda, though he can explain neither of those due to his lack of memories.
      (TwilightBlader)
      5. Midna (Twilight Princess)
The rightful heir to the Twili throne, Midna had her position usurped by Zant. It was revealed Zant was given his powers by Ganon, who had appeared to him as a "god." After defeating both the Usurper King and his false god, Link and Midna separated the Twili Realm from Hyrule and parted ways. Now in New Hylia, Midna found herself back in her impish form with her powers intact, able to exist in the light without harm, but with no indication that the Twili Realm still exists. She has joined the Resistance under Prince Komali to defeat Zant (again!) and out of gratitude towards her respective Link, as well as the Zelda of her time and world.
      (Twilight_Nobody13)

    • Here's a very crappy map of New Hylia with a legend below it.
      • Ganon's Castle: The home of Black King Ganon, White Queen Zelda, Twinrova, and Shadow Link. Once the famous Hyrule Castle, Ganon has once again transformed it into his evil haven. It is here where all of the Links are imprisoned at the beginning. It can be entered through Hyrule Castle Town.
      • Hyrule Castle Town: Keeping its old name, this once glorious market town is now a desolate, monster-run city. Monsters and ghosts run amok, terrorizing citizens who are forced to stay inside. A now defunct Temple of Time is home and playground to the Royal Family of Evil's personal sorcerer, Agahnim. HCT has both Lake Hylia and a river flowing from it.
      • Lake Hylia: One of two bodies of water flowing from Hyrule Castle Town. It's the only source of fresh water in New Hylia.
      • The Great Bay: East of Ganon's Castle is the Moruge Swamp. A hidden cave in the swamp leads to Three Eye Rock. A secret method involving the rocks opens up the path to Zora Waterfall which leads to Zora's Cape in the Great Bay. The Zoras are restricted to the inside of the Cape because the southern water is frozen due to Snowpeak's Weather and the northern waters are hot from lava leaking from Death Mountain and Dragon Roost Island. Because of this, the Zora people are angry at both Gorons. They also have an intense dislike of the Rito, disbelieving that the winged people are their descendants. Two islands rest between Zora Cape and Snowpeak Province. Zant, the Usurper King, is given this area to rule over, along with many others, under Ganon's direct supervision.
      • Snowpeak Province: Snowpeak Mountain and Snowhead Mountain, the province is home to one of two types of Gorons. The "snow Gorons" used to live in Spring, but a curse put their mountain in a perpetual winter. With the Great Bay to the north, the Snowpeak Gorons are blamed by the Zoras for part of the Great Bay freezing due to Snowpeak's weather. Zant rules over this area.
      • Desert Colosuss/Death Mountain/Dragon Roost Island: Now one large mountain, Death Mountain and Dragon Roost Island are located at the northeastern corner of New Hylia. To get there, one must cross the hot and dry Desert Colossus, home of the Gerudo. Death Mountain, located on the western side of the mountain, is a dormant volcano adjourned with lava-filled caverns and is home to the other type of Gorons. The Dragon Roost peak, located on the eastern sound of the mountain, is home to the Rito, winged descendants of the Zora. The Gorons and Rito don't get along, each claiming the mountain belongs to their own specific race. Volvagia, the monstrous dragon that haunted the Gorons in their old time, awoke once again and fatally injured Valoo, the god of the Rito. The Rito blamed the Gorons for this and exiled their Prince, Komali, for failing to protect their sky spirit. General Onox and his army of monsters can usually be found inside the caverns or in the desert. This is another of Zant's kingdoms.
      • Forbidden Sea: The Southeastern part of the Great Ocean is composed of only two landmarks: The Tower of the Gods (strangely enough, another time-version of Ganon's Castle) and the Forbidden Fortress. The fortress not only blocks any ship from making it to the tower but is also home to Ghirahim and the Helmaroc King, whom Ganon gifted to Ghirahim. Aside from Ganon's Castle, the Forbidden Fortress also holds any prisoners that Ganon deems need to be punished. Aside from Ghirahim, the Helmaroc King, and the Demon Lord's prisoners, the only other people living there are monsters loyal to the Royal Family of Evil.
      • South Hylia: South of Ganon's Castle is the Samasa Desert, said to hold a great secret and the main port of Hylia for ships. However, to get there, one must cross the dangerous Lava Lake, a large lake made entirely of lava (duh). Some Mogma can be found around the lake. The Desert is also home to several deactivated Ancient Robots.
      • Desert of Doubt: Located west of the Lava Lake and in the southwestern corner of New Hylia. Inside the desert is the Pyramid. From the desert, one can see the fragmented Tower of Spirits, though no way to get to it exists. After crossing the desert, one can journey through the Tal Tal Mountain Range to get to Koholint Island. Malladus rules over the Desert of Doubt, Tower of Spirits, as well as Koholint Island and the Isle of Ember, though he shares the last two with Bellum, Nightmare, and Veran.
      • Koholint Island/Isle of Embers: The island existed before only in dreams of the great Wind Fish, but it exists as an actual island in New Hylia. However, the Wind Fish seems to be absent. Activated Ancient Robots have made their home here, occasionally crossing Tal Tal Mountain range to the Desert of Doubt or Samasa Desert. Unfortunately, ash and balls of ember from the Isle of Ember constantly fall onto Koholint Island, plaguing the residents. Even worse, the sorceress Veran and her army of Dark Links, along with Nightmare and Bellum, frequently make their way through the two islands, torturing the residents.
      • Termina: The collective name for Forest Haven, the Lost Woods, Clock Town, and Minish Village with Vaati's Palace floating high over the forests. The Kokiri were pushed out of their forest and into Forest Haven by Skull Kid Majora. The Deku Tree, a single merged entity of the Deku Tree from Ocarina of Time and the one from Wind Waker, is now in Kokiri Forest where Majora "plays" with him. Unfortunately, the Kokiri and Koroks can't find their way to him from the Haven due to the entire forest being turned into the Lost Woods. The Kikwi live in the Lost Woods and usually spend their time with the Great Deku Tree when Majora's not around, though they can't help the tree. Clock Town is located in the Lost Woods as well, constantly plagued by Majora's harmful pranks. With the Lost Woods surrounding them, the inhabitants can't escape and help can't arrive. Minish Village is located elsewhere in the woods with Vaati's Palace floating high above. Ganon gifted the village to Vaati for the Wind Mage's revenge as long as Vaati kept a close eye on Majora, whom Ganon sees as a wild card. Forest Haven is located off of the coast where the Kokiri and Korok argue over who is the true forest race of the Deku Tree and their inabilities to help their guardian entity. The Moon towers over the Lost Woods constantly.
      • Eldin Volcano/Great Ice Field/Lake Floria: Another volcano that plagues New Hylia is Eldin Volcano, main home to the Mogma. The heat from the volcano causes great turmoil to the Great Ice Field to the west and Lake Floria to the east. This makes life rough for the Yook and Parella. Ghirahim is given reign over these three areas, though he usually leaves it to Twinrova to supervise.

Would you like him to have his memories from Spirit Tracks? I have ideas for him with and without his memories (since at the end of the game, they said he'll be reborn without memories of the past).
