Just about as soon as she'd spoken the blonde haired guy, Nix rejoined the conversation. She recognised him as he was R-Class like her, though she had never really spoken much to him before. He reminded them to be careful once more and she had to try really hard not to burst out laughing. It wasn't that she didn't understand what he was saying, she understood the risks they were taking by talking about this. In a way it even echoed her own fears with more people eavesdropping and joining in. Yet still, there was something about the way he was so serious and how he said it, that she found hilarious. She couldn't explain it herself what was funny. She bit her lip though and remained respectful.

Soon after that, the lesson ended and everyone seemed in such a hurry to leave. Nix suggested they should arrange to meet up to talk more privately, which she actually thought was a good idea, yet he left before anything could be done. Alice was in no such rush, she simply gathered her stuff together and carefully placed it in her bag. With the way she handled her belongings, you'd have thought her pencil case was fragile and could shatter with the slightest knock. As she did this, she saw the whole group leave with hardly a word to eachother. She found that a bit dissappointing, the lesson today had been interesting and she found herself actually disappointed it had ended so fast. Maybe it was the thrill from doing something forbidden that she could get in trouble for or maybe it was something else. Either way, she'd hoped the group would vanish so fast.

Although, the blue haired girl turned to her before she left and mentioned she wouldn't mind meeting up sometime. Alice automatically smiled but that took her completely by suprise and it took her a moment to reply. She had mixed veiws on that girl, she didn't like their attitude to non-power users at all and felt she was a bit stuck up. Yet at the same time she was overjoyed that someone, especially someone that had such harsh veiws on the people around her, actually liked her. She was also beginning to come round to the idea that maybe she wasn't so bad after all. "I'd like that" She replied in her ever quiet voice, just before the girl left the room. It was only after she'd left that Alice realised she didn't even know their name.

She finished packing her stuff up and looked around at the almost empty classroom, letting out a small sigh. For once she didn't feel like dissappearing into the background like she usually did. She wanted to talk to someone and have a conversation. A proper conversation, not just the idle chit chatter her friends usually did, something that would stretch her mind a little. The lesson had got her all in the mood for that, yet now everyone had gone and there wasn't anyone left to talk to. She got up and slowly walked out. She didn't really know where she was going, the way everyone ignored her made her feel like she was using her powers but she even checked she was fully visible. As she weaved through the corridor, she wanted for once to be seen, to be noticed and not be so alone.

    Monday, April 12th, 2:58pm

After lunch, students were given free time for the next few hours, most of which he spent in the library. Upon nearing his appointment in detention, he headed to the end of the school's first floor where the Room sat. A white room with only 1 door and 10 desks.

Lex watched the clock as he entered the White Room for detention. It appeared he had arrived a few minutes early. Irregardless he sat down to endure the next 62 minutes in peace. While he did not always enjoy the eerie silence, he preferred it over the droning of the some of the most useless conversations in his age group. Not to mention, his little outburst would give them something to talk about.
    World War 3.
It barely even sounded legitimate. But the concept was intriguing... Those with nothing to lose, uniting for everything to gain. He would have liked to see that lesson play out. That thought also brought up the position he put the teacher in. First teacher to show some honesty and he gets taken away. They need to sort out their morals, he thought to himself. Retreating from his thoughts he noticed the 2 guards stationed outside, eying him. In a sarcastic manner he gave a short wave. As they return to looking straight ahead outside the door's perimeter.

As he entered the White Room, Sam felt a slight...relief. It always happened when he neared Rendium. First, Jaggerjack's voice would get a lot quieter and he was harder to hear, almost as if he was whispering or retreating deep within Sam's mind. Then, Sam's body cooled down; his body temperature only decreased slightly, but it was enough that he could feel it. And finally, he became nauseous for a few moments. The rare times that the academy had to...restrain Sam, the Rendium made him sick to his stomach. During detention, it simply made him uncomfortable. He had always wondered if he could still summon Jaggerjack. Jaggerjack did claim to be a God, after all, and Sam was from the Advanced Class, meaning he was...well, advanced. It meant he was harder to restrain than the other Classes. Jaggerjack and Sam had once spent an entire lecture discussing it. They settled on a theory that, unless Sam was completely restrained with Rendium, Sam would be able to summon Jaggerjack, but the "god" would be the one to suffer the effects of the Rendium, as he was a separate entity than Sam. Regardless, it wasn't something Sam was eager to find out. "Yo," he said, giving Lex a quick, two-fingered wave and nod. "Figured I'd see ya here. Heard during lunch what happened between ya and Prof. D. Never marked ya as the rebellious type..." he paused as he sat down, realizing he had no idea what his fellow detainee's name was.

"It was never rebellion, so much as it was searching for truth. We go to school everyday never questioning the suspicious authority and events leading to our current situation." he paused before realizing he was speaking to some one. He never spoke to people... His mind was in a state where he would talk to anyone. Lex suddenly became a book that was opened after too long as people began to turn his pages. "I mean hey..." he said, quickly saving his out loud thoughts. "What are you in for?"

"Tsk, tsk," Sam shook his head, "Ain't ya get it by now? Questionin' the situation is rebellion!" The student replied cynically as he leaned his seat back and folded his arms. He kept his eyes focused towards the door, at the guards. "At least...that's how they see it. Ya know what I mean?" It wasn't that he was the rebellious type himself. Sure, he had wondered about the outside world, but in all honesty, Jaggerjack questioned the situation more than Sam. To Sam, he was put into a situation and he dealt with it as it unfolded. Don't cry over spilled milk, let everything flow, and deal with things as they come; that was his philosophy. He was satisfied with the status quo, albeit a bit...annoyed at being under someone else's authority. But hey, he was young. Most young people were the same way. "Don't fight the power and nobody gets hurt," he told the other student with a half-smile. "I was late...one too many times, I guess." He shrugged. "That's why I missed your little outburst. The name's Sam, by the way," he held out a hand, still keeping his eyes on the guards.

Detention... That's where Anya had to head to now. Lunch passed uneventfully, and she started making her way towards the white room.
It seems her earlier attempt to ditch class wasn't going to be excused. Well... it was a regular occurrence, and since other students were being punished, it seemed natural that she wouldn't be an exception.
She passed the two guards posted in front of her destination and entered the room. Instantly, she felt the peculiar sensation of Rendium negating her powers. Anya's body became racked with a sick feeling.
Everyone reacted to Rendium in different ways. Since Anya's powers were a result of every cell in her body being in a constant state of flux, the Rendium was negating that and it felt like her body might break down any second. Her body was her power, and her power was being negated... so... by extension, her body was being negated too.
It's a wonder she was able to live. Anya had wondered if it was down to her regeneration... which of course would be negated by the Rendium too, but she had to wonder that if somewhere deep down, it was resisting the degeneration of her body just enough to just barely allow her to live in this condition. Of course, there wasn't enough Rendium in the room to kill the students normally, that would be pointless if that was the case... However Anya's reaction to the substance was likely special due to the circumstances of her existence. Her regenerative power was nowhere near as strong as it could be anyway... naturally, she was designed to be perfect, and that would develop in time, but for now, her regenerative power along with her shape-shifting powers were still in their early stages so to speak. They were still formidable and made her highly dangerous. Everyone knew this. Regardless... why she was still even concious, she didn't know. To be honest, after trying to figure it out as many students had likely done; 'How to resist/get past Rendium'... and coming up with nothing, even though she was convinced that something must be going on or she'd be dead by now... Anya had just drawn too many blanks and stopped caring. The fact was... she was able to live. That was all that was important right now.
As Anya took her seat in the room, she didn't let it show on her face the effect the Rendium was having on her. It had been the same when she had tried her escape attempt however long ago it had been... the same feeling, and even Anya had to admit...
For that one instance... she had experienced a sensation that she had never felt before... something that might have been called 'fear' when Mr. Blood had threatened to plant a piece of Rendium inside of her permanently if she ever tried an escape attempt again, that was if they didn't decide to 'relocate' her altogether of course. She didn't know if his threat was true, and again, she had shown no traces of emotion when faced with such a threat, but it was something she would prefer to avoid.
There were two others in the room with her.
She was aware that Sam was there for the same reason she was. Being late.
That meant this other guy... Lex, was it?
Yes. He was the one who had asked too many questions.
Anya's calculating brain felt a little sluggish thanks to the sickening effect that the Rendium was having on her body, however she was still able to deduce all of this from just one glance at the other two, each.
She just listened in quietly on their conversation... having nothing to say herself. Why would she?
For now, she'd just pass the time until detention was over. That was her current aim anyway.

Compared to the morning, the rest of the day passed on rather boringly. He had seen Anya Kurse during lunch, but made no interaction with her besides a simple nod of acknowledgement, as he usually did when he saw her. Everyone else always went out of their way to avoid her, but he really didn't see the big deal, she wasn't all that bad.

Nix was currently making his way down the hall and towards the Fine Arts building of the school, probably his favorite place in the school. As he made his way towards the orchestra hall, which happened to be one of the largest rooms in the school, he heard a bit of a quarrel taking place around the corner. Curious to see what was happening, the boy with the platinum blonde hair peeked around the corner to see two students, an N-Class seemingly gripping onto a smaller T-Class student. He glared his red eyes at the N-Class, this situation was so typical.

Taking a breath, he began to stride over to the scene, "Pardon me," Nix said with a calm tone, "But I do believe that picking on someone who isn't as big as you isn't a very wise idea." Both of the other teenagers looked at him and the N-Class dropped the other kid, turning towards Nix, "Ah, would you like a row with me now?" he asked nearly innocently, striding towards the two.

"Why don't you mind your own business?" the N-Class sneered pompously, and Nix rolled his eyes.

"Of course, I would, but . . . " the blonde began, "But you see, this is the Fine Arts building, and I like to think of it as the most peaceful place in the school. Unfortunately, everyone doesn't have the same respect for it."

Just a few minutes later, Nix found himself sighing and heading to the White Room. Honestly, all he did was freeze the other guy's hands. Well, it was lucky Madam Lumia found him and not another teacher, otherwise he would have just gone right ahead and shown himself to Mr. Blood's office for a 'routine examination' - though he's pretty sure the man always saw everything that was going on in the school.

Taking a breath, actually a bit satisfied with the events that had taken place, he walked into the White Room, only to find three other students - Lex, Anya, and Sam Dean. As soon as he entered the room, he felt the effects of the Rendium. His body grew several degrees warmer and he could feel his wings growing limp, of course, he kept them folded as neat as he could in the situation. He hated the geologic wonder, it always made him feel sick.

Nodding to the others, he took a seat at the end of the row and folded his arms. This would probably pass without event, and he sighed again.

"Lex." He replied in a low tone. Despite friendly intentions, he didn't return the customary handshake. Human contact was one of the things he rarely did. Nothing to do with his abilities, he just found himself distant. In the next few minutes, 2 more students arrived, quiet and just as self reserved as he. They didn't look to be the prejudice type, but it wasn't like he was giving them a hand to shake like Sam did. The Rendium kept people weaker than normal, yet not at an uninhabitable level. Hard to believe a crystal could be liquified into the chemical now in the pockets of practically all security personal. Even harder to believe that everyone remained in an eerie, awkward silence for the next 60 minutes...

    End of Day 1.

    Ding-Dong*

The PA system rung down the halls once more.
"Good Morning students of Strange Acedemy for the Gifted.
Today is Tuesday, April 13th, 514. I hope you all have had a productive first day
Today, all classes will report to the Drama Studio to finalize your self expression projects for Madame Lumia. Acceptable projects include Musical compositions, a theatrical performance, or an artistic creation of sorts. She looks forward to seeing your creative minds at work.
Please keep in mind, we are still enforcing the Attendance Code as repeat offenders will be sentenced to punishment aside from the White Room."
His voice, while soothing, had a sense of threat to it.
"Have a tremendous Tuesday, and always remember; You are here to help benefit society."

As the PA shut off, Lex slowly opened his eyes, blinking repeatedly as if not even remembering the events of yesterday. Once detention had ended, he just crashed on the bed in his room. Thankfully he had finished his project earlier. Well, almost...
His summative piece was a large mural with what appeared to be a complex Rorschach image. It looked complete, but he just felt something was missing. He managed to portray his mixed feelings onto the canvas, but it felt almost bland. Today he was hoping to resolve it. Even with all the chaos that could go in study week, he might as well stay productive.

Anya woke up early the next day, as she usually did. Detention had been uneventful. All that had really happened was that Nix had also turned up shortly after she had. The rest of the day had nothing worth mentioning.
At hearing Mr. Blood's announcement, or... a more correct expression would be... having 'ignored' Mr. Blood's announcement... she started to make her way to the Drama studio. There wasn't much point of her going actually... she in all honesty hadn't worked on a self expression project at all, but she decided that just laying on the roof again today was pointless, and she had nowhere else to go.
But still... Heading to the Drama Studio just meant that the moment she got there, she'd either be called out on her lack of a project by the teacher or have to improvise something and fake it.
She couldn't be bothered in either sense.
It's not the first time she had turned up to such a class without having done the project required for it, and the punishment was just like ever. The White Room.
Anya felt something rebellious in her though today. Not rebellious in the sense to turn up and just refuse to do anything... she felt rebellious in the sense that she wanted to show the Academy that they didn't own her.
She knew herself as one who usually waited for opportunity to arise... just biding her time waiting for the right moment, but maybe the thoughts in her head today were telling her that she had bided her time enough... now was the time to cause a stur... a ripple in the water of the academy that would perhaps spread and give rise to more opportunity for something bigger. Maybe it was her scientific engineering that was guiding her instinct into some sort of action, but either way... today wouldn't be boring... and it might be a stupid move on Anya's part, but... hey. As smart as Anya was and normally played things... she had also done stupid and dangerous things before.
One thing for sure was... today would be interesting... for anyone and everyone in her class.

Alice woke a little earlier than usual, but waited a bit before she actually got out of bed, just laying in her bed and thinking. The events of yesterday were still doing laps of her head. It had certainly been an interesting lesson and she'd talked to a few people that she wouldn't normally. After the lesson everything had returned to it's normal dullness but she'd actually enjoyed the brief change and in a way she half wanted to rebel now. She wanted to discover what secrets this school was hiding, because it seemed pretty obvious now that it was hiding stuff from them. Still she knew the result if she was caught, however confident she was with her abilities, was it really worth it? Then there was also what if she didn't like what she discovered, as the saying went 'Ignorance is Bliss'. She shook her head and finally got out of bed, wondering if it would just return to normal today or if more things would happen.

Regardless, a grin spread across her face as she realised it was a Tuesday. She loved Tuesdays, it was her favourite day of the week except perhaps weekends. That was because on Tuesday they did 'The Arts', which basically consisted of everything she loved: art, dance, drama, it was all there. Plus today, all the different classes were mixed together once more so she got to see what they were all doing. It had the potential to be great.

With this knowledge, she put music on to get ready to and despite dancing round as she did so, was ready very quickly. She placed her sketch pad in her bag for once instead of hugging it and put on her headphones. She did not hear the morning announcement as she left her room, she was too wrapped up in her music as she made her way to the drama studio. She could more or less guess word for word what the announcement said anyway.

As she reached the drama studio, she went up to the doorway, carefully placing her bag just inside before going back out and a little away from the door. She stood there for a moment, just fiddling with her hair as she looked at the room. Then without warning she ran towards the door, jumping as she went through to go into a triple somersault/back flip. She somehow managed to even land it, which was a huge relief to her. It was a ongoing competition between some of R-Class to see who could make the grandest entrance into this lesson. It had been going on for most of the year, getting grander and grander each lesson and now was the end of the year. She found a little gymnastics usually went down a treat. Madame Lumia encouraged this as it was expressing themselves. The only difference was that today there were people from other classes who didn't know about the competition so from their looks they really weren't expecting it. Then she just walked back to collect her bag like nothing had even happened.

    April 13th.
Lance checked his own systems to see if the date was accurate. It was, or at least, the two matched. Then that meant he wasn't attending classes today.
Unlike some of the other students, this wasn't an impulsive decision made on the spot, where he decided to not attend just for the sake of non-attendance, but a scheduled absence related to Lance's 'powers'; namely having an entirely robotic body. It had been pre-arranged with the head, of course, and the teachers for the day had been asked to have the important parts of their lessons sent to him at the end of the day, so he likely wouldn't miss out at this rate.

He sat down on the lone chair in the room, not for comfort but for sake of ease when it came to doing just this, and ran his right palm over his lower arm, flipping a portion of it open despite there being no visible seam, and examining it.
<Running internal diagnostics> a message on his screen read, as he studied his arm.
There were no visible components within the arm at all. No wires, no circuits, no anything. And yet it continued to work consistantly. The same could be said for most of his body, except his torso, where there was a device that very much resembled an artificial heart, and his head, where there was a central store for information that Lance himself didn't want to just remember naturally, if there even still was a 'naturally' for him. Technically speaking, he probably didn't have to run diagnostics at all; there had never once been a problem, and if there was he would have no idea what to do about it. It was more or less a placebo effect however. Doing it set his mind at ease that he wouldn't suddenly fall over and stop moving one day, and the teachers, or some of them at least, seemed to sympathise with that, thus allowing him the day off to do so.

After a good hour or so of running diagnostics, he stood up and closed the panel on his leg that he had open at the time, and began to head towards the maintanence room. Again, he didn't actually need help to check himself over at all; if he wanted there to be he could easily have camera feeds on the inside of him to see, but having another set of eyes, or one at all, to check him over too made it seem more certain. And so, Lance headed down towards the Maintanence room, on the first floor.

Rapid clapping was heard at the front of the room from a middle aged woman with pearls and a long dress. "Brrrrravissimo Alice! Muy Bueno!" she lifted her arms in joy as she went to see the other students who had arrived.
Madame Colette Lumia is the head of the Arts department. She is very involved with her students and loved whenever she got to teach more. Her eccentricity was only outmatched by her power of persuasion. As far as the students knew that was her only power. She was rumored to have gone to STRANGE, but no one had ever seen her powers in action. Regardless of her abilities, she loved to teach more than the average teacher. She compliments students on any achievements. Often in different languages. None of which she stuck with. When she did speak, she spoke in commanding and dramatic form. Always letting people know she was there.

Lex followed the blonde haired girl shortly after her entrance to be greeted by the same rapid and echoed clapping. "Well done young man, well done!" He paused and turned to see if she was talking to some one else. "No no, you monsieur. In the black. Excellent entrance!" Confused, his hand was still on the doorknob. Looking to his hand and back to her, he replied, "I only opened the door." he said in a tired daze. "And with such brooding atmosphere! Tale presenza!!" He didn't question her and searched to find a vacant seat. He wasn't sure what language that was but it sound like it had something t do with presence...

Detention yesterday had been uneventful, just as he thought it might be.

When Nix next opened his eyes, he realized it was Tuesday and smiled; he loved Tuesdays. Looking over to his nightstand, he glanced at his alarm clock and found that he had a good hour before the PA System would come on and wake up everyone else. He got out of bed and stretched, then assumed putting on his clothes and getting ready for the day.

Just a little while later, he was out the door and heading to the roof.

As he heard Mr. Blood's voice resounding over the PA, Nix touched down onto the roof, folding in his snowy-wings and shaking his whole body off from any air residue he might have gained. His feet brought him through the door to the roof access and down the stairs, and he began his somewhat long-for-walking-in-school journey to the Fine Arts building.

Students were already making their way to their classes, some in a hurry to get their self-expression projects in to Madam Lumia. He wasn't, for he had already finished his just a few days ago. Nix had written a rather complicated and looming composition about his past memories that didn't exist. He had known that they had, but no one talked about it, and he hated it. As anyone could easily see, he was a bit bitter about the whole memory wiping deal. All he needed to do on the piece was perform it and he would be done.

He was worried though. People don't often understand music, they hear it, and then either find it boring or beautiful. They never read into it, never try to understand the composer's feelings or what he might of thought. Nix wrote this piece with something a little . . . rogue in it. It wasn't just about the memories he 'never had', it was about the academy too. They thought they owned it all, students and their powers. Nix didn't like that. He would never light the fire, but he would surely fan the flames if some sort of revolt were to begin. If there was even just a small flame. he would nurture it into something raging and dangerous and beautiful.

    Rebellion.

This school was hiding secrets, and he wanted to know what they were. Ignorance wasn't bliss for him, it was an incentive, and to the leaders of the school, it was a dangerous one at that.

"Bravo!" Madam Lumia smiled as she clapped, along with all of the other students who had been listening. "What passion, what fire, you certainly have the musical give, my dear Nix. I sense stress, curiosity, a yearning for knowledge. These are all things you portrayed so well, bravo!" But as Nix caught her eye after standing and taking a bow, he knew that she knew. Madam Colette Lumia was not a stupid nor dense woman.

'No morning announcement, my bum. You lazy, puny lass.'

It was the start of a new morning, a Tuesday morning, and little Frida Logan was already scolding herself. The light fabric of her black skirt danced along with her candy-coloured hair in the wind as her petite combat boots clicked and clanged on the ground while she hastily ran to the Drama Studio. She had woken up a little later than usual yet again, luckily it was a Tuesday - the day she knew best and a day for the arts - so she knew where to go anyway. Now, Frida was not exactly an art student in the academy. In fact, she does not take part of any of them other than the classes she has to. However, she did have a great appreciation towards the arts and finds herself doing some doodles, humming to tunes and whatnot when there's nothing to do (usually in class when she gets too bored).

Just like yesterday! Monday was, again, not eventful at all. She had nothing to do practically all day even if the morning of yesterday did spark some interest. After lunch, as their little group dispersed, the fun had gone too. She was shocked to find herself not electrocuting anyone at the least that day. In fact, she wasn't even sent to the White Room at all! Which was good, that room always tired her out. Probably since her powers are from genetical manipulation so her powers were a part of her - which meant nullifying them was like taking a piece off of her.

Frida continued to run through the halls, she didn't plan on getting detention for being late - even by two minutes. She liked being punctual, though today seemed to be one of those days when punctuality didn't exactly like her. Luckily, Frida reminded herself that Madam Lumia would most probably be the one in charge today - especially by the entrance of the Drama Studio and that almost made her bubblegum pink lips curl into the slightest smile. The story behind that was because Madam Lumia actually like Frida in her own little way - and that way, in the lady's words were, "hidden but evident potential". Apparently, the Madam thought that Frida would fit right into the theatre program of the academy. This was through the evidence of Frida's success in projects that required them to act, speak to a large audience, recite monologues and those sort of things. She says that that Frida has the ability to grab their attention and keep them an interested audience. Frida, however, was not ever part of the theatre for the academy. She kept to her strong belief of wasting time that could be used to honing her abilities of electrical manipulation. Yet, this favoritism from the head of the arts department didn't go without benefits - which Frida embraced fully. As she neared the doors of the Drama Studio, the feisty girl could already hear the boasting voice of her (only) fan. She picked up her speed and pushed the doors of the entrance forcefully.

Gasping, she walked through them and looked at the eyes of those she caught by her loud entrance. She cleared her throat and gave them her usual, possibly even a bit evil-looking, smirk.
"Not late!" she said cheekily, tapping the mint coloured watch strapped onto her left wrist twice whose time did not exactly come to agreement of what she just announced.

Alice had had a really difficult time choosing what to do for her project, she loved all of the arts, how was she to choose just one to do her project on? The only one she didn't excel at was music - she couldn't sing or play an instrument. Needless to say, she could still appreciate it and as Nix played she just stopped what she was doing to listen. She could just tell the brilliance of it and the slight danger hidden within it. It just made her think of the previous days events and made her want to rebel, to take a risk for once. As he finished, she joined the applause and made a mental note to talk about it to him later. However she had a bit of work to do now.

For her project, she had finally decided to combine the arts into a big performance, a mixture of acting and dance. On top of this she was making her own scenery, she'd got all the routine ready, all she had to do now was add the final touches to the scenery before her was her turn to perform. The scenery was quite large, much taller than she was so for painting the top she had to come up with ways to reach. Just now, she was hanging upside down over the top with a paintbrush in her hand to add a few details.

As the green haired girl from the previous day came in and declared she wasn't late, Alice couldn't help but laugh. The laugh was a bit controlled though as she had to be careful both not to fall off or to splatter anyone below her with paint. "Oh well done." She called over as she wasn't exactly in a position where she could walk up to meet her. What she said was completely genuine with no intentions of being sarcastic at all, she had no plans to insult anyone today. "Got an exciting project planned for today?" She asked, it felt weird talking while upside down and she had to turn back to her work as it was uncomfortable twisting round to see them. It simply wasn't worth the effort of hoisting herself back upright to say a few words though, just to go back down.

    "Oh well done."

came a female voice from not too far away. The petite girl immediately took that as her cue to escape the possible exchange of words between her and the lady in charge. Madam Lumia usually chatted her up more than a conversation should last plus, even if the woman might have no plans to punish her horrible punctuality for the moment - Frida did not take her chances. She hastily made her way to the direction of from which the call came from and was delighted to see a face of someone she had grown to liking from yesterday! Though, she was a little caught-off-guard as to the current upside down situation of the girl she was now speaking to.

"I see you've done much better though, with arriving on time." Frida huffed, she never liked being late or rather, being caught for it. Though the girl did not sound at all insulting to her tardiness, a little pang of guilt rushed through her for she knew she was indeed late this Tuesday morning. She gave her head a little shake, and returned her attention to the girl hanging upside down.

"Got an exciting project planned for today?"

Her eyes widened for a second, realizing that today was the day for their projects - and she did not have hers. All of a sudden, a million things went through Frida's mind. She began scolding herself, trying to remember if she had even begun her project, collecting anything that could have been related to her nonexistent project, recalling plans for this invisible project of hers, and scolding herself once more. Frida could have gone all day with the thoughts in her head but in her panic, it only lasted a couple seconds. She shifted back into reality by slapping her tiny hands onto her face and sliding them out desperately as she let out a controlled but very evidently annoyed and disappointed groan. Adding to it dramatically, she fell cross-legged to the floor. She looked up to the girl she was speaking to,

"I totally forgot. Ugh, I am so screwed. I have absolutely nothing for today!" she complains, tightly gripping her ankles as she tried to maintain some self control. The storm in her mind felt like a short circuit in a system, almost. And sadly, it hasn't even calmed yet. She felt like releasing a tantrum of electricity and shock waves but instead, she kept her cool and scowled. This marked the beginning of her period spent on ranting, "Seriously, why on earth do we even have these projects? Don't get me wrong, I totally dig the arts. You're really great by the way. Your project already looks fantastic! But back to the point. Respect art and all - but save it for an art school? Extra-curricular maybe? I would so rather spend my time honing my powers and using them for something that will actually be important in life. I'd be wasting my time doing a project - I'm wasting my time right now thinking of one! Sheesh! Teachers here can be so ridiculous. I could be getting stronger every second that passes right now. If this darn academy could just listen to itself and actually train us to be the unique individuals we are - and what we are supposed to be then maybe I can easily go from lightbulb to nuclear power plant in like, a week."

She ended her rant session by releasing a small spark of electricity from her palms that she quickly reabsorbed before letting out a tiny, annoyed yell and finally, ducked downward, placing her forehead on top of the knuckles of her hands that were still grasping her ankles tightly. With her outburst completed, Frida's mind finally started to calm. Many thought still spiraled around like uncontrolled electrical charges but one thought stood above the rest,

    'You are so screwed.'

Alice was glad when the girl, who she was yet to learn the name of, came over. She was gradually growing to like them, she still disagreed with their views on non-power users but this green haired girl wasn't all bad. She was different and Alice liked that, the girl was a stark contrast to herself and those she usually hung about with. It made a nice change. However Alice didn't quite know how to respond to her first comment, when she mentioned that she'd done better. Did they mean it in a mean way? Either way, the upside down girl didn't respond to it and choose not to see to much in it.

What happened next took Alice completely by surprise, she wasn't expecting her to have not done a project and even if she hadn't, she hadn't expected her to react like this. How was she supposed to react to that? What could she say to make things better? "Hey, don't worry, I'm sure we can find a-" She cut off suddenly, she'd been hoisting herself back upright as she spoke and had just turned round to look at the other girl from way up high. Now she was just staring at the girl's hands, "Wait, what did you just do? Do that again with your hands. Can you control electricity? That is so so awesome!" Alice's mind was now whirring, as she quickly climbed back down to ground level from where she'd been up high.

"I think I might just have an idea. Do you think you could make your electricity impressive, perhaps even theatrical? You see for my project I was going to do a performance, what if you made some special effects for it? Kinda like a joint project, then you'd still get your marks and we could make it a performance they'd never forget." She was almost jumping up and down in excitement now, the usual so quiet girl getting all swept up in her enthusiasm. "It'd be great! You could...oh...actually it might not be a good idea."

The enthusiasm from a moment ago seemed to dissipate in a moment as she remembered what she was actually doing, "If...if you did it I'd be putting you at risk, you might get in trouble for it. I couldn't do that, I don't want you to get in trouble for my choices. Well, um, you see the thing is I've done the performance based on..." She paused, rubbing the back of her neck, before leaning over and whispering something in Frida's ear. "Sorry, I know it's a huge risk. I just thought I'd live a little dangerously for once in my life."

Frida suddenly felt like she was thrown into a wave of excitement that she couldn't exactly grasp. One moment, the girl was hanging upside down. The next, she was hoisting herself up and suddenly - bam! She was right there infront of the tiny technicolor haired power user. She blinked, finally taking in what the girl had said and not done. The artist she was speaking to discovered her electrifying powers. Only now. This kind of caught Frida off guard. This lady in front of her didn't know about her powers? Of course, Frida didn't know of this girl's powers but for someone to not know of hers? Or not heard of? The petite girl was absolutely stunned - and honestly, a bit insulted.

"Y-you didn't know..? I'm Frida Logan, G-class, Electrical Manipulation..? Oh shoot. I am seriously loosing my touch. You don't even know me?" She just couldn't grasp it. This was weird. Has she been... no, that would be ridiculous. Was she going soft on people? Has it been that long since she had gotten to electrocute someone? Has she not been in the detention room for that long? Before she could think any further, or try to recall the last time she did use her powers on someone the artist was able to grab her attention again with the word 'idea'.

"...Do you think you could make your electricity impressive, perhaps even theatrical? You see for my project I was going to do a performance, what if you made some special effects for it? Kinda like a joint project, then you'd still get your marks and we could make it a performance they'd never forget."

The crazy, almost insulting, thoughts immediately dissolved in Frida's mind and a sudden and evident boost of confidence replaced it. She smirked, "Impressive? Hah! You wouldn't even believe the things I can do with my powers! You so called the right girl for the job if you want a performance they'll never forget - I know just how to grab someone's attention." she ends, chuckling. Though, almost as sudden as her change in mood, the girl in front of her began to doubt. Before Frida could strongly object to the idea of not pushing the project though - because she so needed it plus, being able to use her powers would definitely be worth some time - the girl began to ramble on how dangerous it would be.

    Dangerous?
It looks like this girl always knew how to grab Frida's attention. She liked where this was headed, even if the girl didn't. Then, to keep the ball rolling, the artist whispered her desired topic for the joint-project. Frida only smiled even more. Suddenly, the day looked a lot better for the petite girl. Frida kept her smile when she looked directly at the girl she was having the best conversation with and excitedly announced,
"Count me in. You've got yourself a partner for this. Your idea is absolutely brilliant and risky - but I like it! I can totally use my powers to blow the minds of our audience. Also, through this I have a project! And now, I even have a new ally! Aw man, this is a total win-win situation! We are so going to rock this house and blow their brains out!"

She actually agreed, despite what she'd got planned Frida had actually agreed to her crazy plan. Alice didn't know what to say, it made a change, her making ideas and working out what to do. She said she loved the idea, what were the chances of that? Maybe taking a risk every so often wasn't such a bad thing after all. Plus she'd managed to discover the girls name without the awkward moment where she had to ask for it. Things were starting to look up for her. "Really? Oh this is going to be so amazing. Um, let's shake on it." She held out her hand, "Frida we have a deal. Oh, if you don't already know I'm Alice Moon, it's an absolute pleasure to meet you." She laughed, slightly unsure what she was doing.

"Um, well, you're not stupid, I trust you can use you power in the appropriate place and make it look fantastic. I'm not really going to boss you around when you know more about it than me. I'm not really that good at telling people what to do. Just I take it, you'll understand that you'll come in at the climax when things get really exciting. At the start it wouldn't really make sense. Here, listen to the music, you'll love it." She dashed across the room to the music player, half dragging Frida behind her.

With a big grin on her face she carefully pressed the play button but no sound came out initially. "Wait for it, wait for it." She told Frida and looked back at it apprehensively, waiting for it to start. About 10 seconds later, the music player was still silent. Alice's forehead began to crease in confusion. "Why's it not- oh the CD isn't in. Silly me." She exclaimed as the opened the lid, shaking her head as she began to look through all the CDs at the side of it. "It should be around here somewhere, just bare with me. Sorry, I thought I'd left it in but clearly someone must have taken it out." She ran her finger along the line of CDs, flicking through cases, searching through all of them. She reached the end of the line, tilted her head slightly and began again at the beginning. "That's odd." She muttered but kept searching, though the longer she searched the more her smile dropped.

Eventually, she turned round to her new friend, "I don't understand, it's got to be here somewhere, but I can't find it anywhere. It has to be here, I need that CD otherwise what am I supposed to do without music. I can't dance to no music. I've checked several times though" Her voice got faster and more panicky as she spoke, walking in a circle around Frida, physically unable to stay still. "I'm sorry, without that everything's ruined. I mean, where could I get music now? I need that stupid stupid CD." She paced up and down, not really paying much attention to anyone else, lost in her worries.

She stopped moving. "Unless, hmm, you helped me so maybe, just maybe" She spoke quietly, looking down at the ground. Taking a deep breath, she swivelled round, "Nix! Nix!" She called and ran over to him. She didn't know him that well, she'd only spoken to him a few times before but she just hoped on the off chance. "Um, hi,this is going to sound so weird but I really need your help." She rubbed her neck nervously, "I heard what you did earlier, it was amazing, incredible and the subtleties, just wow. But, um, I've kinda, well, I've sort of lost my music for my project and, uh, I was wondering if you'd...you know..um, help me out. Please?" She just felt so silly right now, she just needed to ask if he'd play the music for her performance but she just couldn't work out how to say it.

Nix was strolling down the hallway in a more leisurely manner, passing several students without even paying them a second thought. He was very please with himself and his performance, and wondered what kind of thoughts it had sparked in his audience. Many people came to him after class and congratulated him on such a fine peice, but by looking in their eyes, he could tell nearly none of them held the mindset he had hoped to provoke. On special occasion though, he saw a student with fire in their eyes and knew; they were the ones that would partake in rebellion, if it ever called.

Before he had left the classroom, however, he had been caught by the Madam, and he prepared himself for what would be a lecture on being more careful and not so reckless, that there were eyes everywhere in the school, and that now he would be monitored closer and the whatnot. To his surprise, though, she whispered in his ear that she knew nothing, no matter what he told her. A teacher, in secrecy with him, okay with any sort of uprising, was it really true?

The teenager didn't pay more mind to the thoughts as he continued walking. Hands in his pockets, it almost seemed like he was in a daze, one that was cleared when he heard his name being called. Turning around, he saw a small, blonde girl quickly making her way to him and he recognized her as the one that did the drawing in Daniel's class yesterday. She was also those among the audience when he was performing. "Um, hi, this is going to sound so weird but I really need your help." she rubbed the back of her neck and Nix raised a blonde eyebrow.

"I heard what you did earlier, it was amazing, incredible and the subtleties, just wow." In whatever she wanted help with, his curiosity was piqued, especially since she had noticed the details in his music, "But, um, I've kinda, well, I've sort of lost my music for my project and, uh," She certainly fell over he words a lot, didn't she? A small smile was growing on his face, "I was wondering if you'd . . . you know . . . um, help me out. Please?"

He was certainly interested now, particularly since she mentioned she lost her own music. He gave her an easy smile, "Sure, I'll help you out." he said, "What is it you'd like me to do?"
