Square-Enix's Japanese e-store has released information on a box set set to be released in Japan on April 29th featuring key rings based on the medals from 'Kingdom Heart Unchained χ[chi]'. Priced at 5,770 yen (roughly $51), the medals (shown above) include KH2 Mickey, Organization XIII Roxas, Axel, KH3D Sora, Donald Duck, KH1 Riku, KH1 Cloud, and Shadow Heartless. No word if the box set will be released internationally.

In the latest issue of Dengeki Playstation, 'Kingdom Hearts' director, Tetsuya Nomura, talked a bit on both 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue' and 'Kingdom Hearts III'. While a full translation of the interview isn't out yet, KHInsider user Zephyr was able to translate some of the main points of the interview, where Nomura discusses things such as no new boxart for 'Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5' on the PS4, how the remasters have never affected development of KH3, and the return of Reaction Commands in KH3 (now called Situation Commands and evolved to be less like simple QTEs). According to YenPress' official Twitter the English versions of the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts II will be released in the United States.

Both the Birth by Sleep and 358/2 Days will be in one omnibus each, while Kingdom Hearts II will be split into two omnibuses. No release date has announced yet, but when we know we'll let you know!

Last weekend, Square Enix staff member, Shinji Hashimoto, known for his work as the series producer for Kingdom Hearts and the brand manager for Final Fantasy, attended the Lucca Comics & Games convention in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.

While there, he was part of a panel in which he talked about Kingdom Hearts and various Final Fantasy games. KH13 has provided a summary of the Kingdom Hearts portion of the panel:

It looks like with the final manga of the manga for KH II, comes the first volume of the novel!

According to Barnes and Noble, as well as Amazon, Kingdom Hearts II: The Novel Volume 1 is being published by Yen Press. The novel will cost $16 (Currently 46% off on Barnes and Noble) and will be released on June 20, 2017.

Anyone planning on adding this to their Kingdom Hearts collection? I know I am!
