Alright so I've done this in both KH2 and KH2FM and I'm still having this issue:
I have a small list of codes and they work, but whenever I try to implement another code (for example max strength, defense, quick exp gain etc etc) it will /always/ whether I use one code or the combo of those codes I just listed, equip Sora with a keyblade I believe called "Fake" and it looks like he's holding Mulan. He can attack but he does no damage.
Anywho, I'm curious to know how to implement an exp cheat without causing that glitch.
As a fellow yet still kind of new Kingdom Hearts fan, what helped me most was honestly watching each and every cutscene, even in KH1 where if you die and have to reload you cannot skip them, usually when doing so (and if it's been several times of dying and retrying) I can use that to plan. Proud and Normal mode can be especially helpful if you want to enjoy the game without it seeming to bore you.
Also try different keyblades and spells. Sure you could just stick with the strongest keyblade in terms of stats, but in KH2 especially, just because a Keyblade has lower stats doesn't mean its skills are weak as well. Sure you could use the strongest key, but experimentation in this game is safe, fun, and less harmful than experimenting in college. (That joke went over the heads of some, I'm bad with jokes.)
All in all, play the game the way you want to play it!

.pnach file will be attached, as a text document, so someone can test if they wish. I'm currently on the newest (STABLE) version of PCSX2 and have it running without speedhacks (yay for new computer)
I recently beat KH2 on Proud mode and am starting all over again on proud, this time with a few cheats to make my life easier.
I have a .pnach file and all goes well until I insert exp, max strength and max defense codes. Inserting those codes causes Sora to be stuck with a weapon called fake that looks like Mulan and he can't actually attack. (I mostly just want the strength max cheat).
I removed those three codes and even tried them one at a time, still the same issue.
I'm uploading the .pnach file and maybe someone can tell me what's causing it? (Uploaded as a text file because extensions. Horray *insert riku sarcastic look here*)
P.S. Asking about my username will make you hate Repli-Riku even more.
So I've been looking for some basic codes (Mostly either CB or AR) so I can convert them to RAW for my PSCX2 .Pnach file.
The codes I have, that do not work, are as listed below
Max Zenny
patch=1,EE,77201385,extended,0BEB59B1
Gain 50000 exp
patch=1,EE,1021728C,extended,3402C350
(None of those seem to work)
So the codes I'd like are
Max Zenny, Gain 50000 EXP (Or quick lvl up for all characters), All Sub weapons, All Main weapons (If that code is just for X that is also fine....but if someone knows the code per character that'd be a blessing), All Force Metals, And Max stats (Again either Just for X or for all Characters. Either one works)
PS: If you already have them converted for .Pnach that works but whatever you can get me works.
Edit 1: I have the codes for Gamecube emulator (Dolphin) and they all work...but Dolphin takes up too much CPU so I kinda want the same codes (Listed above) for the PCSX2 emulator.
