The slide tool is too dangerous, and replacing the flip top is a bit too complex and dangerous. Get Magic Switch Pro, open the case up, put the black cap on the spin-disk-button, superglue the other in the bottom-left corner of your drive (Otherwise it won't stay), and jam the last one in the upper-right in your drive.
I put these in...and the game freezes. I'm using SwapMagic coder btw, and I double checked at least 3 times YES ALL OF THESE CODES ARE PUT IN CORRECTLY. I start up the game with SwapMagic and just get a black screen.
I can't see a Days remake. Chain of Memories got remade because it was in 2D and tied directly to a console title, leaving many confused. Coded got remade because it's part of the KH canon and yet it was only on cell phones, and largely 2D in a 3D environment. How are you going to remake Days's graphics? It's already in 3D. The only thing you can do to it is make it higher quality, like a port to 3DS. But that would be more of a Final Mix, which I can definitely see since every KH title has had an enhanced re-release except that one.
I know it was supposed to be comedy. It just wasn't funny.
It came off as you editing it to satisfy your yaoi fantasies, then not wanting anyone to think you were gay so you say "Oh it's a parody". If you hadn't tried so hard to make it so realistic, like if Square Enix actually did that, it might have been funny, if it were something like "KH2 Abridged".
A good editing job like that only works if you're doing something more serious, like a fandub, otherwise it's pretty jarring.
Ok, so I downloaded the latest March 26, 2011 cheat database from GBAtemp, I look in the game list and it lists Re:coded. Ok, so I open up the cheats for it and...nothing. 358/2 Days cheats show up, and EVERY OTHER DS game I have has cheats showing up, but not Re:coded. Then I opened the damn thing in r4cce, and there ARE cheats for it, but for some ******ed reason they just don't show when the game is up. The rom's not bad either and runs fine, and the database is for all versions and I have the US version.
Can anyone PLEASE confirm this or help?
EDIT: Fixed it...turns out you have to put the update AS WELL AS the .dat file in there...
That was pretty bad. Very bad, actually. The voices and editing were good, but they were out of character, and pretty much all the dialogue either didn't fit or was unnecessary.
