I wish there was a secret ending but sadly I doubt there really is one.
I was confused about this too when I first got the game. I kept reseting it back to the title screen lol.
Yes it is only in the Final Mix version but sadly it IS the only boss fight that was added if you compare it to the original US version of KH.
Xaldin was the hardest for me.

I feel that I might actually like Verus better than FFXIII.
I never cared much for the Tactics series but I might get it regardless.
