Yes he lied by telling them they had lost their hearts forever but he lied also when he said only kingdom hearts was the thing that would get them back. look at my signature for this is the quote that he uses.

80% of the members of O13 had no clue what Xemnas and his trusted advisor were doing and I don't think anyone outside of the yellow eyes and elf ear group knew anything about the true plan ... hell Saix even told Axel that there were other goals Xemnas had in mind and that was all so if he knew anything about them ... He didn't know enough
They are all members of the first Organization that is what they have in common, and I know there is more to Luxord if the general abilities of other members with elements is anything to go by I don't see any proof or any signs that he was ever chosen to be a pawn in the great plan to come and technicly they have two time guys assuming Ansem remembers how to do it in the first place.
And Guess who was there Saix, Xigbar, and Xemnas himself so I am willing to bet that Luxord Isn't involved. Also He had time powers, if he chooses not to use them on a better level then he used during that fight then is not worthry of a position in the New organization considering they already have a time guy.
I was not refering to Young Xehanort I was refering to Luxord and Xemnas basicly said they were all failiures due to weakness of trust, weakness of will, and another one I forget right now, Luxord would definately fit under the weakness of will catagory.
Um, he is likely dead however he probably will get a bigger role I hope in the game as well as Demyx but those other members of the Original Organization are rejected by the New Organization as mentioned by Xemnas himself, also if you are going to talk about motivations then he would likely go to the winning side which I am sure he would think that would be sora ... he whiped a time wielders ass.
Now, I understand but Axel has fire powers in his human form so at least nothingness will trensend but the real difference would be the Darkness trancending the merge because Ansem is a weird heartless as we all know
You know what I want to see. In KH3 I want Riku and Sora to fight Ansem and Xemnas at the same time then you beat them, only after you beat them they merge into what can only be described as a God beyond Gods and you fight them agian only with mickey or some other wielder.
