True, but they did use some very questionable tactics to further their goals. Tactics, that I'm sure a lot of people would agree were very dangerous.

Yeah, the second Riku battle was HARD. For me, my luckiest moment was getting the Dragoon Lance at a time where getting one was EXTREMELY unlikely.

Well Sora does have the Anti Form, that has to count for something. Kairi however, is a Princess of Light, so she doesn't have ANY darkness.
