There was a time where humans and dragons not only lived in peace with each other, but hand in hand. Where the monarch of the human realm, ruled alongside the dragon king, and everyone seemed to have a pact with a dragon. Peace and prosperity flourished through the lands between all races. There had been no wars between the elves, gifted with magic and beauty, and the humans, blessed by dragons not in hundreds of years. But what happens when that peace is threatened? Not the peace between elves and humans, but between dragons and other dragons. When a stone is found that means more to dragons than anything else. Will you work with your pact partner to help them achieve their goal, even if it means killing friends, or even family. Will you try and resist and risk the wrath of a dragon? Would you be willing to turn on your own king, just for one stone. Is your will strong enough to stand up to that of a dragons? How far are you willing to go for a stone that no one knows what it does? Pacts exist as a sacred bond between Dragons and humanoids, creating not only a mental link with the dragon, but a link that binds their souls together. When one partner of the pact died, the other partner loses a part of their soul. They fall in despair and would often stop eating or outright kill themselves or they go mad. To make the pact a few conditions had to be met. First off, the humanoid cannot be an elf. No one knows who made the law or how long ago it was made, but it had always been followed. Elves were gifted with the natural ability to use magic, they are stronger and faster than other races, and on rare occasions even have wings and are capable of fly. In order to keep the balance in the worlds it was a well accepted law to keep the elves from gaining more power that they did not need. Other races such as Humans, Dwarves and Gnomes were still permitted, though the latter two often didn't take advantage of that. The next law of the pact is that the humanoid must give up something to the pact, there is always a price. The price could be anything from gold, to the persons ability to see, but unless a price is agreed upon, a pact cannot be made. Since dragons and humans cannot communicate without some sort of connection, it takes a person with magic to create a temporary bond between dragon and human, once a pact is made, the bond becomes permanent. As your minds are connected, the partners had to be careful, if one's will was much stronger than the others, it was possible for that person to force their will onto their partner, whether they meant to or not. Once a pact is made, another cannot be made during either partners life time, regardless of whether the original partner is dead or alive. Once a pact is made the dragon and the human work as partners. The dragon can offer it's human companion magic energy that it doesn't use itself. Most dragons have similar amounts of magic not matter their size, however the bigger they are, the more magic it takes for them to live their lives. Simple things like flying take magic, and the larger the dragon, the more magic it would take to fly. That being said, for what the bigger dragons lack in magic to lend to their pact partner, they make up for in shear size and physical strength. The magic granted to the human can take form in whatever way the wielder wishes, as long as the provider of said magic agrees. Some peasants would make pacts with small dragons so that they could use the magic to help their crops grow, and scare away the creatures trying to eat it. Others made pact for power, in order to fight and protect society, or even destroy it if they so pleased. Either way, the dragons offered power became an every day part of society, often relied upon in day to day life. In recent weeks, dragons started to stir, their attention elsewhere. While no one knows where it came from there was talk of a stone existing that drew the dragons attention. A stone that was given the name Bahlaan, or worthy in dragonic. There was an obsession starting a need for this stone, one that would drive the dragons to do the extremes to get it, dragging their pact partners with them. Some might work together to get the stone, while others would shun all others, including their partners in pursuit of their goal. To what end will they go for the stone of mysterious allure and power. 1. If you make a dragon, they must have a pact partner 2. Dragons can talk to other dragons, as can humans speak with other humans. A dragon cannot speak to a human that it doesn't have a pact with though 3. You are allowed to have an elf with a pact with a dragon, but expect repercussions for such actions. 4. Please make sure your pact price is something worthy of the pact. 1 gold piece doesn't equal all the power of a dragon worthy of a warrior 5. No godmodding 6. Do not kill other characters without permission from the creator, but also be prepared to let deaths happen, it is part of life after all. 7. Magic is only limited to your imagination, but try to be fair with what your character could come up with or use it. Consider their backstory, a farmer might not have ideas on how to use magic to brutally murder someone. 8. This is set in medieval times, so remember, there was no gun at the time, technologies were limited, meaning certain ideas on how to do things would also be limited. 9. Stay active, I will not put a time limit on your posting, but if you consistently don't post your character will be killed. 10. Be respectful and follow general KHV and RPA rules. As the keyblade came down, it also came to an abrupt stop, but not on Chrono's head. The sound of metal hitting each other rang through the room as Cerdic looked over at Daeni in shock. She had stepped him and stopped him, without a word said to him. This didn't not stop Cerdic however. "Stay out of it Daeni." Cerdic warned as he he prepared to swing once more, only to then hear Kara talk. With a sigh he lowered his keyblade for the moment, but with no intent on letting Chrono go. "Kara you don't understand, you are too naive. He tricked us, he stole from us something he shouldn't have been messing with. He lied and deceived until we all agreed. Don't put it past him not to be doing that again. Don't trust him. Let me end it while we still have a chance." Cerdic tried to explain to her before turning back to his target. Once more before he could do anything to harm Chrono, the damn dog decided to return. He tried to tell him why he shouldn't hurt Chrono, but Cerdic wasn't buying it. "We can handle it without the conniving sonofabitch. If you want to know, then here, but the worst of it someone else has." Cerdic said, throwing the journal and torn out pages at Alder. "Now read quick, better to deal with him when he can't cause any more issues." Cerdic told Alder, scared of the repercussions from Chrono if he recovered from the pain.
Lucian rolled his eyes at Jebediah's thoughts. The whole idea of good cop, bad cop, was a stupid idea, it was the oldest trick in the book, way over used. That being said if it worked, it worked and no one would be on his back about his attitude if he followed along. "Sure, whatever. At least it is something I am good at. Lets get this over with." Lucian said with a sigh, letting Jebediah lead. It was clear that he couldn't get answers himself out of these people, he knew that already. No one liked him and he was fine with that, no one was supposed to like him, at least not anymore. It was better for people to hate him, than pity him for how far he had fallen. He shook his head and put a hand on his sword ready to play the bad cop when needed, a role easy enough for him. The golem spoke and Mirela became more and more intrigued. "So you don't exist for any particular purpose? That is so interesting. It must be an interesting life, trying to figure out what to do with yourself. I guess it is no different from us humans though. Some of us struggle our whole lives trying to figure out what to do with themselves. Not everyone is as lucky as I and know their path all along. Not everyone is as naturally gifted you know." Mirela spoke as Aspire pondered the can of oil before pouring some over the joint. It was more than what was needed, but at least she could move again. Standing up straight she smiled brightly at the golem. "Thank you kind sir. I can move once more, that is great. Now then, I can help you with your own problems. Have a seat on the chair over their, and watch your step on the spilled oil. I can assure you I will be able to help you with whatever you need while you are here. How long will you be staying by the way. It is a great city, and it takes some time to see the full splender of it. That being said I am sure that the man you created you would miss you after a short while. I mean if Flicka left for a long time, I would be worried sick. Oh yeah, Flicka is my bird, I made her myself. Here Flicka." The small hummingbird like construct came flying over as Mirela set to work cleaning the Golem of sand. "Isn't she a beauty. She is one of my proudest creations, and one of my best friends." Mirela took various pieces off of Aspire, different plate guarding the inner workings, so she could clean them sufficiently. As she worked she made sure to polish each part as well so it shined as bright as possible.
Her eyes darted back and forth as Tinarah observed the group to see what they were going to do. Chrono seemed to think that they didn't have another choice, and the other man that she couldn't quite remember the name of, seemed almost excited to go through and explore what lay beyond. Tinarah herself though was not quite as convinced as they were. She waited and watched as everyone else entered the cavern. After a moment more of just watching, Tinarah realized the sudden fear of not wanting to be left there alone either and followed after, focusing more on not bumping her violin around, then avoiding bumps and bruises herself. Of course,, thanks to this, Tinarah ended up with a couple scrapes, but nothing too bad, just enough to be annoying. Emerging on the other side Tinarah ran to catch up to the others before observing the world around her, the tunnel while dark was not impossible to see in. She could see that there was footprints, meaning wherever they were, they were close to people. From there on Tinarah stuck close to Chrono. If they did run into other people, Tinarah didn't want to be caught alone, she knew that she would not know what to do if that happened. Given all that happened in the past, Tinarah didn't often trust people, didn't like talking to those she didn't know unless they needed help, then she couldn't leave them. Following the tunnel out, the area that they emerged into was not what Tinarah had expected to find. She had hoped that in the end was fresh air and open space, and while the area was bigger than before, it still wasn't an open space. Looking around she caught sight of the chasm, and the bridge over it. Tinarah prayed that they wouldn't have to cross. She didn't particularly like heights and didn't trust bridges as much as she should. Tinarah shot Chrono a nervous wondering look, waiting to see what they would do next, but before he could answer the cavern shook, and rocks started to come down. While the rocks weren't near Tinarah she couldn't help but let out a short screech and cover her head with her arm and violin case, right after she did that, she realized what she had done and lowered her violin case, holding it against her chest as to protect it. "I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to almost hurt your violin." Tinarah whispered quietly to herself. now too worried about that, feeling guilty to immediately notice the shattering of glass, as the chandelier broke and heartless swarmed. Startled by the whole event Tinarah let out another short shriek of surprise as she took a step back. It seemed to have taken her a moment before she remembered the weapon that she had to fight these things. Tinarah summoned her keyblade to her hand, but before she did too much, ran to the nearest wall and set her violin down, hoping that it would be safe there. From there she took the fighting stance that Master Choma taught her, standing in front of her violin like it was the only thing worth protecting. As heartless started to fly at her, she started to bat them away with frantic wild swings. Her hands were shaking, badly, but she couldn't stop swinging, she couldn't stop trying to protect herself and her mothers violin. Heartless Killed: 10 Heartless Remaining: 90 HP: 20 AP: 0

Well I am back at it with a new video. I wouldn't say it is great but I needed to just get something out, keep in practice and all that. This one I tried to make a story with, and the story is the following: Sora and Riku grew up together. There was always a rivalry between the two, but Riku always needed to get stronger. Sora watched his friend change, and eventually leave the island. When Sora caught up with Riku he found that Riku murdered Kairi. Hell bent on vengeance they fought but Sora was bested. Soon after, Riku transformed, revealing that he wasn't just the same Riku after all, but something much darker possessed him. He managed to break free of it long enough to get Sora to run. Years later Sora returned to fight Riku again, this time much stronger. By this point Riku mastered the darkness and tried to make peace with Sora, refusing to fight. Sora would have none of that however as he attacked Riku head on. Riku let himself fall in battle to make up for what he did to Kairi years before, but instead of dying, the darkness took hold once more, driving him to kill Sora against his will. When the darkness died down, Riku felt so horrible about himself that he committed suicide, not able to live with himself anymore. I know it sounds like a crappy edgy fanfic, but I needed direction to go in, so bare with me and enjoy... maybe.... if you can.
Cerdic was still holding Kara when the memories came from nowhere. He didn't know what had triggered them, but his body tensed as memories flashed through his head, memories including one persons name. Aevum. Connected to that name was a face, a face of someone familiar, one of their companions. As the memories finished Cerdic found himself full of anger as he pushed Kara behind him, as to protect her. His eyes locked on with Chrono's just as the boy curled over in pain. "You, you were the one to deceive us." He stated staring the hurting man down. "You did this to us, it was all your fault!" A flash of light surrounded Cerdic's hand as his keyblade appeared. Now was the time to strike, while he was down. Cerdic couldn't remember how strong Chrono... or should he say Aevum was, but he was at least smart enough to possibly try and talk himself out of the situation, or convince others to stop him. Cerdic wasn't going to let that happen. Even if it made him more of a coward, he would strike while the boy was weak. "Kara take Daeni and go find Alder and Mora, let me deal with this." He instructed as he stepped forward towards Aevum. "I am going to make you pay for hurting them. I will make you pay for creating that creature. You don't think I know what you did? Well I know it all. I found your journal after all." Cerdic told him as he loomed over Aevum, hesitant to strike at first, however taking a slight glance back at Kara he knew he had to do it, to protect them, so down came to keyblade, a strike aimed to kill.
Lucian rolled his eyes at the response of Lynda, he believed that there was no message to be sent by killing the guards. It wouldn't have been grand enough. But she could believe what she wanted, when things went wrong it wouldn't be his head on the copping block, at least not this time. Lucian was willing to admit he misjudged and mistreated plenty of situations, but he didn't believe that this was one of those times. If Lynda wanted to believe otherwise, who was he to stop her. With no further information to be had, Lucian took a step away from the group, giving himself more room to breath. He could still hear the instructions being given, and since none were being given to him, he supposed that he was to stay. Waiting until after Lynda left, Lucian turned to Jebediah, who was supposed to be the lead now apparently. "Perhaps I should go into town and see what people are saying about this, stop too many rumours and misinformation from going around too much. Don't want anyone thinking the government is failing or anything." In truth Lucian just wanted to go get another drink, but he could make it sound like work for the sake of getting away with it. Mirela was bent over still when she suddenly heard a voice, normally she wasn't one to miss when people entered her shop, but at that moment she was a little preoccupied. Jerking her head up Mirela instinctively tried to stand up straight only to be greeted with the groan of metal, a small amount of pain, and no success in standing up. Mirela gave a bit of a nervous giggle as she actually took a look at the man... no construct that stood before her. Mirela's eyes lit up as she took him in. "You are magnificent! Who made you? What sort of parts did he use? Can I take a look at your inner workings some time? Are you made to fight, or help? What sort of construct are you?" Mirela started to ramble as she wanted to know everything about the magnificent creation in front of her. She took a step to get a better look then remembered how hard that was and the position she was in. "Oh yes help. Right. I think I am okay. Don't worry not all my work is like this, this was an experimental part. You see it was supposed to help take pressure off my feet so that I could stand for longer periods of time and thus make myself more efficient. But you know, it isn't working out as well as I hoped. I will be fine. Just let me..." Mirela reached down and couldn't grab the oil. "Um... maybe I could use help. I just need to get a little oil on the joint for now." Mirela told him looking a little pathetic and hating it. "Oh right, and you are also probably a customer. So what can I do for you... you know after I fix my little problem here." Mirela offered the best she could even if it wasn't that convincing.
1. Since everyone hates this one, Impressions? 2. Favourite Final Fantasy XV Character 3. Is your skype avatar a boy or a girl? 4. When are we going to read the book again so you can know my pain? 5. Subway or Pizza Rolls?
For once, Cerdic agreed with Alder, they needed to bring Mora back and make sure that she was safe. Cerdic didn't know what happened to Ria, but he did know that they weren't dead, they couldn't be, it would be too easy. As much as Cerdic wanted to play hero, he knew that they couldn't just leave Kara laying there. Cerdic watched Alder run off before settling to look at Kara. He didn't really want to hit a girl, so he turned to Chrono who was returning after destroying the last crystal. "So.... do you want to try and wake her up. I am not comfortable hitting a girl." He stated. Not long after that statement, Kara began to stir herself. Cerdic let her go as she turned around, commenting on him being there. "Yeah of course I am here. I am always here for you." He told her with a wink. While Cerdic knew full well that it was no time for flirting, he couldn't help himself. Right after saying that Kara's arms wrapped around him. Maybe he did have a way with the ladies. The she started crying. Perhaps not. Cerdic wrapped his arms around her as she spoke through her sobs. "It's not your fault... you aren't the only one who watched friends die today. It is all because of Ria and this Aevum person. Don't worry, I am going to make them pay for that. For now we should catch up with the dog and the girl first, then we will track down Ria and kill them." Cerdic tried to assure her, tightening his grip around her slightly trying to make himself seem more tough.
Aislinn took the rod then watched as Tron demonstrated to them what to do, remarking on the fact that they weren't from that program. Aislinn rubbed the back of her neck trying to take in all she could about the light cycle that they were supposed to be using. The entire thing was making her uncomfortable but she knew that she had to help. After she got the basic idea about how to use it, Aislinn turned to Starks team. She watched as they finished a match and then turned to face them. One face out of the bunch looked familiar to Aislinn. She didn't know her well, but recognized her from when she first joined this group. She had disappeared right before they had come to these programs. Aislinn looked a little confused. "Do you think this was part of the game masters game? Taking Xara like that? I haven't seen her since departing for the first part of the test." Aislinn whispered to Kel, trying to make sense of it all.
After sitting around for a good few minutes with no customers showing up to help, Mirela struggled to her feet again. Pacing for a while she finally decided to try and fix the situation herself. She first switched out her regular hand for the tool hand just in case she needed more than just oil. She then started to grab at a small bottle of oil to oil the joint. It was an awkward task to do so. Just as she manages to get the head of the oil container into an open slit in her hip her hands slipped. Suddenly the oil tumbled to the ground and started to slowly leak on the floor. Cringing she started to look for a cloth and throw it over the spill, not quite able to reach the floor from the way her hip locked.
Lucian hardly paid mind to the arrival of the other Sergeant. Part of Lucian wanted to ask if he could leave, given the protocol would still be filled, however he knew he wouldn't get off that easily. Just more voices and more opinions to add to the fray. Listening to the minister Lucian took in the details, once more taking note of the assumptions on the convicted woman. Things weren't adding up in his mind though. "Sounds like it was a suicide mission from the start. Why focus on the guards when, no offense minister, but the big obvious target was right there. She was never going to make it out, why not target the person that makes a difference in this society?" Lucian spoke up. Perhaps that was a conversation for back at the office, but Lucian tended to be a bit direct. He did not care enough about anything to sugar coat things. He looked at Lynda wondering if she agreed or would bite hid head off for the comment. Either way he didn't doubt his thoughts, if others did then that was their fault.
The blow was not enough to kill it and Aaron silently cursed as the serpent kept pushing him, slow as it may have been. Just as he was nearly completely circled when something flew through the air and exploded on the serpent. It wasn't a firey explosion and Aaron had enough training to know what it was, and had a feeling he knew who was responsible. "Thanks uncle Vec." Aaron mumbled to himself as the serpent finally left, bloody and injured with a wolf still attached. There was a sigh, but the relief didn't last long. Vec got rid of the serpent, but not before he was surrounded. Sheathing his silver sword Aaron went to draw the steel sword, but thought about his odds. Leaving both swords sheathed, he lowered his hands and stared at the man on the ship. "You wanted a witcher, here he is, but you know you could simply hire us for a little cash." He responded buying himself time to think. "But if you dint mind, I will be going now." He said casting Axii in order to convince them to let him go. Shore was now out of sight thanks to the fog, but if he went the opposite direction he should get back. While her vision was good, it was not good enough to notice the boy in the boat. Seeing the serpent leave, Dayla wasn't sure if they were safe or not. There was still the ships that were rapidly disappearing from sight. That fog didn't feel natural, there was something wrong. And with the rain slowing she thought that there might be a chance to light another arrow. She would be shooting blind but if she hit, she had to try, for the sake of the city she came to call home, even if it didn't feel like it. Looking for the nearest lit torch, Dayla lit up another arrow and took aim, shifting slightly her aim to account for ships movement. "Here goes nothing." she mumbled before shooting off the arrow.
Moving along Cerdic found his way to the fourth crystal. Glancing around the coast was still clear, so he took advantage of that, swiftly destroying the crystal. With one more glance around he ran from there back towards the group. On the way back he spotted Mora, she got out. "Don't run off on your own." Cerdic warned the girl before continuing back. Arriving back at the group Cerdic glanced at Kara who was still passed out. Stepping past the circle he decided they had to get her out. "Alder, help me get Kara to safety." He instructed as he grabbed Kara under the arms.
Well at least the lump of metal had sense enough to take his leave at long last. It was one less thorn in his side to deal with and that was fine by him. He hoped that it would be a long while before Aspire returned, Lucian didn't think he would be ready to deal with its attitude until he had a drink or two in him. Then there was Lynda's warning. It took effort for Lucian not to respond. He couldn't imagine that the step from the pub food to prison food would be that much of a drop when compared to going from the fine foods of his parents manor, to the tavern food he often ate now. Alcohol however would be a lot harder to come by in jail, perhaps one of the only reasons he chose to behave himself at that moment. Approaching the Minister, Lucian observed a familiar look on her face, but chose to ignore it. Acknowledging it only would lead him to acknowledging things better not faced. "It is not smart to jump to conclusions so quickly, so if you please, humour us for the sake of a thorough investigation." Lucian made a good attempt at trying to sound professional and helpful. If he did that, maybe this all would be over quickly. He would have preferred being brought on a task that his swords could get some exercise, but since it wasn't, he couldn't remind anyone why they should keep him around that way. Instead he had to resort to dogging back in his mind, finding the person he was when he first joined the Constabulary, and pretend, just for the day, that boy still existed.
Whether luck, or a blessing from whatever gods might have been out there, Cerdic didn't know, but mercifully it seemed that Ria had not followed him as he bolted away to go play hero. He just prayed that the sadistic creep wasn't killing his friends while he was gone. "Just a little longer, hold on a little longer." He whispered to himself as he rounded a corner and noticed the first Crystal. One at each corner. Summoning his keyblade he swung and smashed the crystal. Only allowing himself a moment to catch his breath, Cerdic turned 90 degrees and started to follow any roads in that direction assuming that it would take him to the next crystal. He would focus on the ones at the corners before the fifth one that was more out of reach. Maybe Alder could escape of he broke only a few. Between the two of them they would stand more of a chance. He hated to admit it, but Cerdic knew it was time to work together with the dog, if for no other reason than to prevent another loss of life.
There was a disappointment that washed over Tinarah when Atmos didn't seem to get any better. Despite Terrin's attempts at comfort, Tinarah still felt like it was just another front in which she failed. Dropping near the back of the group, reluctantly Tinarah followed everyone away from where Atmos was resting. They didn't get too far before there was a block. While there was a way through it, Tinarah looked unsure about going any further. Looking back to where they had come from she hoped they would decide to wait for Choma before moving forward. Tinarah didn't speak her mind though, she knew she was being annoying as it was, and she didn't wish to make anyone hate her. So she silently waited to follow lead, even of her whole mind and body screamed for her to return to master Atmos and wait it out with her.
