    Yes, you're quite right.

However, it's "Arigato", although I prefer the 'u' extension at the end.

It's not even out in North America.

It's 99% most likely to be strictly a JP title, just like the first Final Mix.

Just to follow up on Zakura's last post:

And because Final Mix+ is in Japanese, it's also a Region 2 NTSC, meaning Swedish PS2s won't be able to read it without the assistance of a mod chip or Swap Magic.

Basically, if you both are communicating via Skype on your computers, it's absolutely free.

Some people have claimed it's clearer than calling long distance from the landline. It's surely a nice method since it's capable of doing both audio/video simultaneously.

Well, I'm assuming any supplier that sells PAL versions for Australia will be able to ship it to Australia.

In that case, please take a look at this link.

They also have the same deal(s) for 3.8 (Coder). Give those a look too.

Yeah, it's all packaged on my shelf in my room.

But yeah, definitely may look into TC4 when it furthers in development. I've procrastinated getting guncons for a long time.

    Maybe U/C models.

But I've definitely seen JP Guncons at the game store I go to all the time at Pacific Mall. And yes, it's actually a legitimate game store. I bought my FFXI set there.

It really isn't. Natural Selection and selective breeding are two different things. You really should know the difference. There is a premeditative goal with dating. Such a thing doesn't happen in Natural Selection. This is because one of the key requirements for a legitimate case of Natural Selection to occur is that each male and female in the sample population should have an EQUAL chance of reproducing with one another. In other words, mating is 'randomized' and unbiased. There are loads of bias in dating.

And for the record, I've studied 'this junk' for the past 4 years, my most recent being first year Biology at York University.

    A.I.

It's obvious that the media, that has effectively implanted the idea that if computers developed enough intelligence on their own, the first thing they'd do is 'destroy/take over/kill/dominate' the human race. This isn't a fact nor should Hollywood movies ever be taken as a testament of what will happen.

The only reason why people are afraid of computers attaining human-like intelligence is because we believe we're the only race on the planet that has morals, and that computers are unable to. Computers attaining the knowledge we do we trust won't use this power properly because we adamantly believe we're the only ones who can make proper judgments on how to use such power. The truth is that we assume AI is incapable of developing morals, or emotions.

While I do believe AI can be used for good, as long as we 'raise' them in such a way to do so, I don't think it's a good thing to start inventing. We already have so many conflicting beliefs within our own race: the importance of life, the definition of life, and when we should pull the plug. If we can't even answer these questions as a whole, we shouldn't consider ourselves fit to 'create' new life--that being AI.

We shouldn't dare try to play God and create our own new 'race of species' when we obviously can't even understand each other.

    What do you mean 'free'?

As far as buying guncons, Pacific Mall has quite a few.

The moment you 'pick' these factors consciously, you're no longer dealing with natural selection.

    No, that's selective breeding.

What part of 'natural' is not being understood here?

    This is amazing. XD

I don't have any guncons though... I guess I should wait to see what happens with this. I've always been a fan of playing them at the arcades; just never owned the ported ones.

Is the guncon (PS2) any good? How's the calibration, etc? Cause the arcade ones are obviously always good.

    Source please.

And my point still stands. There's nothing natural about humans purposefully going out and extinguishing another race of people out of personal opinion. He may have 'believed in natural selection', but that's certainly not what he did. He'd be a perfect example of someone who didn't read his biology textbook properly in high school/college.

Natural Selection is at the whim of nature's effects on species. Hitler is not mother nature; just another human being who thought he had the authority to reshape the human race.

Because committing genocide on a whole race of people is natural? I'm sorry, there is nothing naturally selective about that at all.

    Please stop slandering Darwin's work.

And no. Hitler believed that blonde-haired, blue-eyed people were the superior race of the world. There is absolutely no scientific basis for this claim. How is that natural selection?

    Darky, where are you!?

And what's so wrong about that? This is one of the most eugenic statements I've read from anyone lately.
Very scary. I'll pretend you never said that.
Humans will live on anyway. I don't see the problem with this.
Yeah, that's why our medicine evolves too.
For someone who claims not to be eugenic, you sure care a great deal about which kinds of humans should procreate.

You're forgetting something. The key word is natural selection. You're talking about selective breeding of human beings, and quite frankly, I'll repeat: eugenics. Do you think wolves, beetles, toucans, etc, care at all about who they breed with? Sure, they're not intelligent enough to really isolate such criteria, but the fact is that these occurrences are natural and happen because it's how these animals behave undeniably in nature.

Is it not natural for us to try to help the weak because we can? Medicine is there because we human beings have the power and intelligence to create such things. The very concept of inventing medicine is rooted in the very same altruistic thought that instinctively goes through an animal's mind when it jumps in front of a pack of predators (outnumbered) with the intention of buying time for its herd/pack to escape harm.

The moment we humans follow this idea you profess, we're no longer dealing with natural selection. We're dealing with eugenics.

Definitely a blessing. It can seem like a curse, I'm sure, but at the end of the day, I'm positive that I would've preferred knowing than being ignorant. Sure, things may be incorrect and people make mistakes, and knowing the answers doesn't necessarily make being 'aware' an annoyance. But there are great things learned from such inconveniences.

Humility is only possible with knowledge.
