Why did they still not correct the Critical Mode secret ending requirements.

I'm pretty sure you still have to complete all the puzzles in Jiminy's memo after collecting all the crown pieces, on top of obtaining all three crowns.

I'm not trying to 'push any ideal' by saying this, but if that's the only reason why you're choosing faith, it seems more like you choose religion out of fear rather than genuine belief to me.

Lots of people who choose science over religion do it not because they 'disrespect God' or think it's stupid, they just have much more reassurance in the scientific explanation than the religious one. People who lack faith aren't always considered sinful.

I am a baptized Roman Catholic, and have attended mass and taken religion all the way through Grade 12 (mass still ongoing), and it was only in Grade 12 that I learned several things about the Roman Catholic religion--one being that:

    - non-believers aren't always sent to hell

So if God is real, you're saying everyone different from your faith is going to hell, including the Buddhists, the Hinduists, the Shintoists, the Taoists, not just the Atheists and the Agnostics.

And that's really another thing people hate about the religious ideal being pushed onto others.

It's there in lots of scenarios, but it's too vast to discuss unless it's brought up case by case.

But for one, some occupations (part-timers, or full) are really biased toward one gender over the other. For example, I don't think any guys will be hired as a waitress at let's say, "Hooters". It's just not going to happen.

Consider it like a P2P program, except it deals with individual files and doesn't have a search engine. It works off a single file that you download.

You mean what you 'believe is right', and that you 'believe' God is out there.

Don't push your opinions on others like that, with the entire 'I know I'm right' comment. If you can't prove it then you can't 'know' you're right. You can believe you're right. At least scientists put the word 'theory' behind a lot of their stuff, and use careful words like 'suggestive evidence'.

Such vocabulary isn't found in religion, where it's all spoken like fact--when it isn't.

My high school curriculum required 40 hours.

I spent those 40 hours making a video for Vocal Night 2004. Lots of ripping, splicing, editing, adding text, re-encoding, etc. XD

Yeah, just the entire 'teaching you Science in small set of lies' just gets to me.

They still tell Grade 9s and 10s that the atom has rings and electrons move along these rings in orbits.

Wrong. It's a lie. There aren't any rings, and electrons move freely around the atom. They're called Orbitals, and they're simply referred to as "regions of space" where electrons CAN be found.

And they've known this for decades. lmao.

And then you have to relearn how bonds are formed, since obviously the rings thing isn't true anymore. Enter the realm of sigma bonds and pi bonds.

It's how my high school worked. The name is/was Cardinal Carter Academy for the Performing Arts.

Unlike most other high schools, this institution is a Performing Arts driven, audition-based school, and essentially every student who attends the Academy got accepted for having exceptional talent in one of these areas:

    - Drama
    - Vocal
    - Band (Brass and Woodwinds)
    - Strings
    - Dance (mostly contemporary and Ballet; there's no hip-hop, although many of these students can do hip-hop, tap, Irish, etc)
    - Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpting, Sketching, etc).

You apply for one of these Arts Areas and do an audition. If you're accepted, you're officially a <Arts Specialty> major when you start going there the following September.

Basically from there, you take regular high school subjects, but above that, you take courses that have to do with your Arts area as well.

So I was a "Vocal Major" from Grade 7 to Grade 12. It was also required that every student who attends Cardinal Carter keep a certain average in their Arts area to stay in the school. If you don't meet this minimum average (or fail the course), you kinda... get kicked out of the school. XD

People got kicked out of the school all the time when I was still going there. I remember I'd step into Senior Choir rehearsal and some of the people I saw last rehearsal weren't there anymore and never came again. XD. Although, sometimes it was just that they were moved to another choir. The Head Conductor evaluates each Vocalist and depending on their skill level, they'll be moved up to Intermediate Choir or Senior Choir.

Japanese vowels are the same as my native language as well (Filipino/Tagalog), and actually their vowels are the same as classical (which follows Latin/Italian), but it's the vowel production that is very different from classical singing. Japanese singing uses spread vowels, making wide sounds, something classical training actually frowns upon. =\

By nature my 'a' sound is textbook classical: north-south in the mouth, raised soft/hard palette, tongue tucked at the bottom of the mouth, straight out of Latin. But the Japanese 'a' vocally is so.. grr... more east-west on the mouth, lower hard palette, tongue is wider and closer to the front of the mouth... it's kinda hilarious cause I have to think classical then completely break all the conventional rules.

The bigger, more fundamental difference between Japanese singing and classical singing is hands down the resonance. Japanese singing has virtually no structure for resonance, and there's practically no head-voice. I have a hard time unlearning that.

And you're right on the zoom, but now am I the guy on the left? Or on the right? ;D

"Commit it to memory" is an English interpretation. While it may 'mean' that to some degree, that's not *how* it comes across in Japanese culture. Lots of things in Japanese can't really be translated accurately in English.

Youtube murders the audio quality, so I decided to just upload them to Filefront.

Download them if you think the bandwidth is worth it. XD

    Little Lamb - First Piece
    Ajudication Part 1
    Ajudication Part 2

The Ajudication was done by Mr. Brawfed Helpson, who has his Masters in Choral Singing who's traveled up and down the East Coast. I forgot the university he got it from, and my dad didn't record his introduction.

Also, you'll notice in the Ajudication that he critiques a piece called "Go Where I Send Thee". It was a Gospel Spiritual that I didn't bother uploading due to time, so I just left it at one piece. Just ignore that commentary if you wish.

See if you can guess which one I am. *kekeke*

Below are some clips from two solos I had to do for extra credit, recorded at school sometime in October 2006. These aren't the full solos, but a demo recording that was required. Again, download if you want--I don't care either way.

Excerpt from Aladdin (Acapella) - A little tuning issues every so often. I didn't warm up that morning.
Fields of Hope - Gundam Seed Destiny (Acapella) - XD While I can read and write Japanese somewhat well, my Japanese singing is horrible. I think it's the classical training in me; I have a hard time changing my vowel formations. So I'm not particularly pleased with my vowels in this.

ES - Beat the game (after completing all worlds)

To complete Re:CoM? I kinda only beat it to get the extras for FM+. I haven't replayed it for the extas for beating FM+. *doesn't know* XD

Very off topic. Don't discuss that here.

Critical Mode can be very discouraging at first. Very much so with EXP 0 on, but it's something we all had to adapt to. It's not impossible, as many including myself have beaten it already, but yeah, the one hit KOs are something you have to get used to, and anticipate when they'll happen.

In essence, Critical Mode forces you to choose your encounters more carefully, and try to minimize the amount of damage you take.
