Note: Ɍed is not, I repeat, NOT Hyoogey He's that dude who actually talks sense and makes good points in the KH sections
I honestly did NOT think I was even in the running for this holy shit I'm gETTING ALL EMOTIONAL NOW...
Oh Christ hahaha WELL I GUESS I CAN'T DENY IT :'D
More importantly it's not you vs. the seller, you're both supposed to be working together. It benefits them to satisfy customers, and obviously customers want to be satisfied. If some dumb mook misprinted a comic, it ain't the clerk's fault, and asking for an exchange isn't accusing him of ruining it.
It's not being "that guy" to ask for a new one if you got one with a defect, nor is it confrontational. If this guy's as friendly with the customers as they say, then I'm sure he'll understand. And if he doesn't, then maybe you and anyone else who's interested deserves to know. Either way there's ZERO sense buying a new one before you at least ask if you can have the old one exchanged. Be sensible, not confrontational.
Hey hey, be nice. Ain't no thang if you late to a twewy party, 'cause a twewy party don't NEVA stop~
GIMME CHANCE, DIG ME DEEP WAIDO NO BIJON DE WAIRUDO NA YUME O ATARASHII MONO, SORE DAKE DE MONO CHOUHOUSARERU YO. #lyricalusinterruptus
So if we're not perfect little angels then we're revolting devil spawn? Whoa bro calm down HEY NOW HOLD UP NIGGA. THAT'S ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY THE KIND OF VILLAIN I WRITE. YOU SAYIN' I WRITE SINS, NOT TRAGEDIES PARADOXES? IF I MAY INTERJECT? I think what she's getting at is that one should always hold oneself accountable for one's actions, but about 90% of the time casting blame on others is poisonous and counter-productive. If so I agree. If not, carry on :x
I found it by just resetting the area until Wight Nights and Gargoyles spawned. The Chimaera should show up after that wave. You should be able to smoke 'im at Lv100, all you gotta do is kill his posse then play hackey-sack with his guts until he gets acid reflux of the circuits.
What? Whoa whoa whoa, time out. TWEWY doesn't deal in alternate universes, it deals in alternate dimensions. Big dif. Also, the reason I bring up his powers is because, other than those, there's nothing that says he's an angel that something else in the universe doesn't already have. And those powers aren't enough to differentiate him from others. He is less powerful in KH than he is in TWEWY, where he's essentially a god. He could definitely reverse an erasure. And even there he's never been explicitly stated to be an angel, only Hanekoma has if anyone.
I'm tracing this back over and over and I don't even see what point you're making anymore. At this point I think you're just saying words :v If he wasn't able to undo what was done to them in their own world except by transmigrating to Traverse Town, then clearly the power of KH exceeds that of their original 'verse, in which case Joshua is far from a typical angel. Unless we are suddenly assuming angels are weak and ineffectual, in which case KH has taken a very dark turn. He is like an angel, up to and including some very overt imagery, but if that's all it takes for there to be angels in KH then there's a form of Heartless that's technically an angel, too. There are clearly other criteria.
Drive gauge is finite, too. And a form can only appear for so long in that way, and is immediately exhausted afterwards, thus indicating that enough time has passed for it to no longer be available. Those resources don't go on forever. ...There... aren't. Unless I'm missing something?
gdi that kinda shit actually makes me want to go to cons just to piledrive fat nerds
Hey, ain't my question to answer. Maybe she wasn't counting the ba-*choked with crook, dragged offstage*
Yes, and that cheapens the story. Let us not choose to cheapen it further, hm? Exactly. But the form in which they manifest is now canon, so we have to deal with that. We have to figure out how it slots into the story. You can't just ignore what doesn't fit your hypothesis. Maybe he doesn't because Genie's spells are random? Hel, he can do it himself, so let's just start with that. For one, it costs MP, which is finite; for two, he's got to have the smarts and the reaction time to think of it. And beyond that, the writers probably just aren't clever enough to use it that way. There's an inconsistency, but that doesn't mean there's no connection. It's just poorly written. You consent to the rules of this poorly written universe in assuming it's worth talking about, as do I; and that means we have to look at everything. Not just what we find convenient.
This is the thing people don't seem to understand about video games. The gameplay isn't just some cancerous growth in the underside of the story, it's part of it. They must align. A game where they don't is evaluably bad. If something within the story is contradicted by the gameplay, it frays our understanding of it, cheapens it. It becomes just a cute little thing we divert ourselves with between levels, a chance for our fingers to rest, and nothing more. One hasn't the right to be ignored in examining the other. Every work of fiction has rules. A ceiling of plausibility. Breaching that ceiling causes disbelief to come out of suspension. You're trying to sell me angels? There is no precedent. The highest power in this world is Kingdom Hearts itself, and there's no reason to believe it has delineated any such thing as an angel to carry out its will, nor that they would exist by any other means. They exist symbolically, to be sure; a creature with such features appears as a Heartless in the first installment, and Naminé bears some superficial characteristics, as has been pointed out. But then, so do the Princesses of Heart. No reason to believe they're all angels too, so why Naminé?
TOOK YOU SCRUBS LONG ENOUGH TO AWAKEN TO THE GREATNESS! NOW WE'RE BOILING!! Subarashiki Kono Sekai, ne? Man I sure wish there were actual lyrics posted somewhere. Don't even joke like that
I didn't say Genie couldn't affect the outside world, I said his powers don't necessarily translate. Pay attention, sprout! Genie, among others, clearly can interact with the world at large in Kingdom Hearts; but in his case, all of those charms, tricks, and cosmic powers become just another spell in Sora's arsenal. That's what it all amounts to.
...
And you honestly wonder why she hates you both
