I don't know how you feel. I have both my parents still, but I'm sure you're mom still loves you very much, no matter where she is. I see nothing wrong with tatoos. It's that persons way of wanting to artisticly express themself. When I turn 18, I plan on getting a tatoo on my right arm near the shoulder. It's going to be a cross with a design around the top of it. It's not going to be overboard, but sized to fit. Black and grey for me. But yes, it is something you have to carry with you all your life. Unless you decide to have it removed with laser surgery later in life. So make sure you're 100% positive on getting it and that it's what you want.
