If there was one thing Larxene hated most of all, was when someone straight out pointed her feelings in the open, and she was damn sure she didn't make it obvious, Zexion was just sharper than most. What she hated even worse, was when a person hits the nail right on the head. Yes, something was holding her back, and for good reason considering her painful past, however, that was not his business, and she didn't even know why Zexion was interfering in the first place. Whatever he wanted, she wasn't going to reveal to him her true experience on why she couldn't go through with telling Axel anything. Glaring at him viciously, her eyes getting blurry again from the thoughts of everything that had happened so far getting to her again, she gave him a chance to escape. And she was certain her was aware of what she was thinking, because he made his way to get up. "Go back to your ignorance, Zexion, and butt out of other people's problems." "Even when I'm actually helping you two?" Zexion questioned in the same way he always did; calmly. He had wanted to know exactly what was making her run away from her own feelings for Axel, and the only reason he could think of was that she was afraid of love...which was odd. But he had done his job, and now it was up to both of them to figure it out, he had guided them enough. Sighing, he walked off the table when he saw tears in her eyes once more, making his way to get out, though his senses picked up Axel's 'scent' far off as he tried to know where the redhead went to...it was somewhere deep in the woods. Concentrating on the spot he was in, giving Larxene a final advice, he summoned a dark portal behind her that will lead to Axel, or close to him. He pointed at it. "Whatever happened to get you this way, what are you going to do, Larxene? Wallow in your self pity and let bad experiences take over you, leaving you scared? Since you always try to show how strong you really are, how is that for strength? Letting your past get a hold of you...are you going to move forward? Or stay where you are now? Think about it, the worlds aren't fair, we all have to go through obstacles in life, but is getting through it and becoming a wiser and stronger person that makes one admirable. Hopefully, you'll be one of them. I know the problem with you is in your past...or something, like you are afraid of love, I think, and of your feelings. Yet, even as a Nobody...is still sad to let a good thing go, right? Who knows what it might bring...hurt maybe...but the worlds are full of hurt. Why miss out on a source of light because you're frightened of pain? That just means you're frightened of life, and you might as well not truly exist. Trust me when I say...that Axel...will not turn his back on you." That was the best way he could explain to her that the fire wielder felt the same without really saying it. He did have some manners, after all, it was up to Axel to do that. With one last glance, he began to get out of the section he was in, adding one more time casually, "That portal leads to where Axel is, if you're still not ready or do not want to reveal it just yet, the least you can do is talk to him, as he was just trying to make peace with you and you blew out on him for no reason, for a cookie. I'm sure even you know how stupid that sounds. It's only the first step, Larxene...it's your choice to take." And with that, he neared a corner and disappeared, leaving her alone again, getting himself out of the situation permanently.
I think I have to requote this: That's the exact same vibe that I got from her as well, you just made it shorter, lol. Glad I'm not alone.
It was definitely her personality that turned him off xD, which is weird, considering her attitude is what turns on the fanboys (*cough*dominatrix*cough*). Besides, Sora doesn't seem the type of boy who will look at any older female in a attractive and romantic light, except for those his own age. He's too dense and innocent/pure that way.
Sora, being a Heartless for a while, still in someway follows the same process of when a person loses their heart, which is why Roxas was born. Is not that Roxas has Sora's body literally, is that, to put it simply, Sora's body and soul was used to give Roxas his own. You have to think back on the fact that Roxas's birth was special and different than the normal process of how a Heartless and Nobody are born, due to the events that occurred around it with Sora. It also ties in with Naminés birth. Ansem Reports Read Ansem Report #12. This the interesting quote from it: Also, to get a another quote from Ansem Report #10 this time (which I would also like you to read): Sora has his heart, his body, and soul, we all know that. So he's not really a Heartless, is more like he changed back. Basically, it was just a special, rare happening that went through because of the circumstances. Is hard to say.
Larxene growled at the impudent little genie as he disappeared, but he didn't matter anyway, she already got the answer she was looking for. The only thing she could guess from this was that the spell somehow broke when she found out the truth, which was...relieving. After finding out what Marlxuia had done, she was worried she would still love him anyway due to the wish, as that was something she couldn't control, but it didn't turn out that way...thankfully. Running a hand through her blonde hair tiredly, the whole thing taking a toll on her, she straightened herself up, her lips in a frown, and it deepened more and more every time the thought of what Marluxia did...and even Marluxia himself ran through her mind. Her fists clenched as her jaw tightened. Damn b**tard. It was almost as if a hot, steaming wax was slowly dripping down from her collarbone and to her stomach, the senses passing to her nerves, and they burned so fiercely, some sparks travelled along her body as the hatred filled her every being. He...damn him, and then he tried to place all the blame on Axel, partly so she could hate him. Why? Of course, jealousy...yeah, well, she'll sure to give him a extra bonus on that. Gritting her teeth, she opened the door to the tech room harshly, and went inside quickly, shutting it behind her in a slam. Larxene found herself in a dark room, nothing but two rolling chairs there, and the one side of the wall filled with miniature screens all over depicting every inch of the store. She wanted to know everything. Every. Single. Detail. And as her blue eyes scanned the station Axel was in, she'll start there first and rewind. Marluxia had been following her out, but when she stopped in the middle of the aisle, she simply portalled out. He tried to reach for her and stop her from leaving, yet it was too late. And now she was gone, and he didn't know where. Feeling his anger rise, he cursed under his breath at this misfortune, and sharply with a dark look, walked back to where Axel and Saïx were, not caring that the assistant manager was there as he reached them and turned to the redhead. He somehow wanted to wreck his neck and make him disappear, but for now, all he did was speak calmly, "You just had to open your mouth as usual, didn't you? At first, weren't you the one that said you were fine with all of it when you found out, even happy? And you left? Why the damn change of, pardon the pun, heart, Axel?" This could ruin what he had done to a extreme, especially as he didn't know exactly what Larxene was thinking now.
You have to remember exactly how Sora changed back from being a Heartless, is even in the KH2 opening. It was Kairi. The only connection he has with Ansem/Xehanort", is that both their Heartless kept their sense of self. But other than that factor, Kairi's pure light (she's a Princess Of Heart, thus, no darkness) and inner strength returned him to his original form when she hugged him. Considering Sora was a Heartless for a time, Roxas got his body and a part of his soul (I'm guessing), but because Sora also didn't last long as a Heartless, the process of Roxas getting his memories was stopped, which is why the blond doesn't remember anything. Sora wasn't really a Heartless, but more of a...half of a person, the missing piece being Roxas. The only reason "Ansem" kept human form when being a Heartless was because the darkness he posessed was so great, that he retained a body. It is fact that the more darkness you have, the stronger your Heartless will be (which is why there are Shadows, Neoshadows...).
Definitely. Considering her height and her behavior though, I'd say she's about 19-20 (is the same for Axel, though the farthest he could go is 21, I can't see him any older. Demyx also strikes me as 19-20).
"I know that," Larxene snarled at him, though truthfully, she didn't. She just wanted to lie to Zexion so he wouldn't precisely know what was going on with her, though she suspected he did already. She just did not want to be questioned about the problem anymore, or talk about it, and even if a Nobody is able to feel somehow...didn't mean she wanted it, not to mention that it wasn't truly real in the end. Larxene knew how hard it was to have a heart, especially if it kept getting broken time and time again. She missed being able to be complete and not be disrupted by something missing in her chest, but still...past or not, what makes it so sure the hurt won't happen again? For all her life... "Then what is holding you back from being with Axel, Larxene?" Zexion asked softly, not entirely believing her word, or else she wouldn't have had a hard time understanding feelings in the first place. He saw the stunned look on her face, and he simply smirked knowingly at her, confirming it with his nod. "Yes, I do know how you feel. Sorry, but to me, it was painfully obvious. Either way, I can tell something is making you separate from him...not get any closer. What are you afraid of? Or what are you exactly running away from?" He could see another wall build up as a storm of outrage appeared in her blue eyes, and he knew after this that none of those questions will be answered, as well as this being the end of the conversation. At least some of his suspicions were confirmed by her behavior, and he did what he could.
Larxene shook her head lifelessly, her face blank, but her eyes showed that she was a bit in shock, not believing that all this time it was Marluxia who had been using her. So it was him...that wished her to love him, and now she understood why she didn't remember whatever she did with Axel...it all started to make sense now. However, before she could even process what she just heard, her mind felt woozy for a moment, and she almost went unconcious if she didn't black out for only a second and wake back up, almost falling. Leaning against a nearby wall a bit dazed, wondering what was that....she now noticed something change. It was small, but she had noted it...the visions were floating across her mind now, of her and Axel...how she began to make moves on him, and how they touched...her eyes widened after composing herself. It was like everything was coming back, and she knew every action, what she thought when kissing his neck, and...and the unbearable attraction she had...no, has for him. What...? She tried to find the reason again of why she loved Marluxia and had feelings for him, as now her whole body was filled with rage and hate for the discovery of the wish that came with the genie, but not hurt. Nothing. Nada. It was like...the feelings she had for him were gone. All of them. And right now...it was only replaced by her likeness of Axel. Her anger was put on hold for a moment at this sudden switch, her eyes looking at the red genie questionably, "What do you mean you can't undo the situation? You just did. I-I..I don't even love Marluxia anymore, everything...so you must've lifted the spell...." At least, that's what she concluded, I mean, why else would the love and feelings for him disappear like that? Especially with the sudden dizziness she had felt. Not to mention, unlike Axel before, she remembered everything that happened between her and Marluxia.
Larxene just simply glared at him unimpressively, but thinking she should loosen up if she wanted to find out what she need, she crossed her arms, and eyed him with a serious expression. "Listen, I know is weird to ask, and I'm still a bit annoyed at you for not taking away my harem outfit, but I need to know something concerning Marluxia...." With that said, hoping he would listen, she gave a short version of the problem, the lying, and the different stories, and that she just didn't know which one was true, making sure to mention Axel. Once she was done, Larxene gave him a almost frenzied look. "In other words, since you were the one granting the wishes, you're the only source of truth that I can have. So, who was the one who wished I could love, have feeings for, lust...them? And...did Axel and Marluxia both used the lamp?" For some reason, she was feeling a bit anxious of the answer, after all, she didn't know what she was going to get as a reply, could be anything.
OOC: Is not aproblem of that, is the fact that he got in a very pressure dramatic discussion that had characters in moods xP. Larxene had portalled to another section of the store, knowing that Marluxia will follow, and she didn't want anymore interruptions concerning him or Axel. She wanted to find this out herself without anyone feeding her things. Conveniently, she had tarsnproted in front of the tech room where the videos are, and looking around the store, not knowing where that red genie was, "Genie! Where are you?!" She didn't know if that would work, or else she would have to search the whole of WalMart for him, and she really didn't want to do that. Might as well see if he listened or not, if he didn't come then...she really didn't know what else to do.
"I am telling the truth, I just came from there right now. Where do you think I got her from?" Axel lazily replied, pointing for a second at Xangel for them to get it into their heads. Of course, nobody knew yet that he was in fact, alive, except for pehaps Zexion, Xangel, Vexen, and now these two along with the rival Organization, but seriously, he didn't know when the plan was going to begin. Max said he supposely will give a signal when ready, and there was nothing yet. Frowning, however, at the answer Xaldin gave, he knew that Xemnas wouldn't exactly care that they were creating havoc for nothing, yet it still bothered him. "So you're simply creating more drama and rivalry to the point where you attack and invade their home? Just don't be surprised when they come to our castle, we're obviously asking for it. Don't you think you did enough so far? You're destroying the place where Xeon's girlfriend lives..." The last one was a joke, and he smirked as he gave a small wink to Reixa, though it was to show her that he wasn't as bitter and hateful towards as he had been before he "died". In fact, she had helped him with returning the message to Larxene and Roxas, and he...understood now why she did the things she had done.
Especially if they are best friends that care for each other, because then is "canon" >.<. I seriously feel bad for guys, since now I see why they never show their emotions in case of being called a"wuss" or labeled a homosexual.
Larxene just shifted her eyes between the two, still undecided, and not wanting to really explain why to Marluxia. The thoughts were still churning from before, and other than the fact that she felt a little guilty for doubting Marluxia, nothing was different, it was still the same questions and holes. There had to be a solution as to who was telling the real truth and who was not...or else...she didn't know what to do. There was something wrong everytime she was with Marluxia, not what she was doing with him, but something hung over the air everytime she showed her feelings to him, and was aware of how many times it kept popping up, she didn't know why, yet it was there, and it couldn't be for no reason. The headache now pounding on her brain, Saïx suddenly went in and began complaining...and she was about to just smack all three of them. Instead, as her thoughts drifted, her eyes widened in realization to something, and she simply left the men alone as she walked out of Axel's cubicle, and heading off in a determined air. She was going to figure this out. "Where are you going?" Marluxia asked perplexed, watching her back as she was leaving them alone. She didn't even turn her head back, or answered, because right now, that red genie was going to appear and answer the question once and for all. And after that, see the video screens to see just what she did herself.
Because she's a girl, that's why xP, and go to touch Axel >.>, though I have to attribute it to her personality. And I seriously don't know why Larxene gets complaints so much. All she did was tease both Repliku and Sora, kicking them here and there, and other times, she made fun of Vexen, and that's purely it, other than b*tch slapping Naminé, which I cracked a rib laughing from (though I like that little tiny blonde, she's such a sad character), nothing showed up to make me hate her. While Axel, on the other hand, basically killed both Zexion and Vexen, and laughed, smirked, looked unbearably evil and apathetic while doing it. We really need to open our eyes on who was the real cold one in CoM, because Axel was nothing short of a a**hole too. Except he's a guy, and if he's pretty = obvious fandom. The only difference (as said in posts above me) is that Axel got the character development and story in KH2 that made us all sympathize with him, Larxene didn't have that chance. She wasn't THAT horrible. There were worse things she could have done, and if need be, it will be easy to tweak her character to a good side giving the right circumstances, but still not being "good" precisely. If they can switch Axel from CoM and KH2 like that, Larxene will be a breeze. Not even her defeat made sense. If in cutscenes she could royally kicked Sora to the point of him being fatally wounded and tied to the floor, and not only once, two times (the second leaving him helpless if it wasn't for Donald curing him). I might understand he was fuelded in the last battle, but so was Larxene, and it still boggles me to this day. But I guess since Larxene has to die in CoM, she has to. ******* As for what I think of her *cracks knuckles* I'm probably in the few who actually found her character entertaining and interesting, than merely hating and/or disliking her because of the cruel attitude. It's easy to hate her when she's just a GBA sprite and you can't see expressions, and only her words, yet once Re: CoM set out, she grew on me more. First off, I have seen her portrayed in almost every fanfic I have read that has Larxene in it, as a 24/7 PMSing ultra serious b*tch. Mind you, I'm at fault on that too :P, but while she can be like that sometimes, this isn't her overall personality. She always struck as playful, and even more of the "annoyer" than the "annoyee". Coming from that, in my opinion, she was the best original female character that had appeared so far in the KH series by that time, considering she actually had a backbone and wouldn't take crap from truly anybody, and showed at the same time that woe is him/her if you do get in her nerves. Axel only survived CoM because Nomura and the studio was fond of him, but for the sake of actually giving a female character some development for once, Larxene should've been the other to survive. A wasted kicka** female...for once in KH's life, they had to get rid of the only amazing kicka** female who can cremate your hiney to Kingdom Hearts and back. Such a fresh air from Kairi and Naminé that ended too fast. And worse, now she got dethroned by the 14th member that suddenly made her random appearance (and I don't think even she lasts long. The only hope left is perhaps Aqua, but other than able to fight, I can feel the vibes of Kairi, and not because of the connection. Hopefully, I'm proven wrong) I felt she had potential, Larxene had a few attributes that can add complex layers to her, and I find it a shame they missed that opportunity. There's already lack of original female characters in the game, it wouldn't kill to really give them some depth. Naminé is fine though. I mostly go with the opinion that she is deeper than she is portrayed because of her death, along with some of her words. First off, the most obviosu is that she actually sounded sad, and apparently didn't want to die. Other clues is that I feel that most of her severe sadism (I'm sure is natural somewhat xD) and cruelty, is mostly a facade just to cover her insecurity. I don't know *shrugs*. She drops me as one of those tough chicks that think themselves strong and all confident, but inside, they're really little girls hiding...if you get my drift. And I'm in the believe that someone isn't born a b*tch, just to be one, even villains get their own background story that made them what they are today. Some events must have turned her that way, and it can either be in her past, or the fact that she had to deal with twelve other men, not to mention that Xemnas doesn't think highly of females, as proven on the interview when it was explained why Marluxia got changed into a man when he was originally suppose to be a female, so Larxene kind of had to prove herself. Call me alone in here, but I just got that insecurity vibe. There's more on why I think this, but I'll stop there. As for why I like her concerning personality, well...she's sharp-tongued, smart, strong, agile, confident, independent, physically skilled, ill sense of humor, abrasive, arrogant, sadistic, somewhat elegant, and a flirt xD. The Femme Fatale of KH, unless Nomura can outdo with someone better (let's see in the upcoming games). And she does bring a good name to blondes. She also dropped m eot think she was a bit naïve, and other than Sora, Repliku, and picking on Vexen, she was really laidback, and normal. A nice character and concept overall. I guess I admire her from going away from the norm cookie-cutter girls that we've been getting.
"I should be the one pitied to see the transgendered face of a liable pink fairy again, but unless you get killed off, I have to put it with it. Now that's what I call a shame," Axel simply retorted to Marluxia, done on purpose to ignore Xaldin's question, because one word whether or not he told the Superior of his return, he'll go blabbing, and second was to just get to Marluxia, as he asked for it with his remark anyway. Thinking that he should answer to Xaldin somewhat to get him off his case, he simply answered enigmatically, "I already went to the castle, you can even ask Roxas. I just have a few things to take care of, is all. However, what I'd like to know is why you're destroying this Organization's castle? Order? Or just for the hell of it?" He smirked slightly, stretching his arms upward lazily, before putting them behind his head, simply watching his two fellow comrades with a look of dark amusement.
OOC: I...I think it is xP. Larxene didn't know what to say, so she just stared up at Axel blankly, making her kunai disappear as her anger died down and was reaplced with slight confusion. For a fact, she knew, that the redhead wasn't lying, he couldn't have been, nothing in his expression or his eyes spelled dishonesty, and even the most greatest of liars can't hide the secrets in their eyes. Not to mention, that if the fact that he didn't give a damn was true, he wouldn't be saying this or wasting his time to hide it, unless he didn't want her to hate him or something. However, for some reason, she couldn't believe the fact that Marluxia was lying either, it seemd almost...impossible for him to lie to her. Why would he? Maybe there was more to the story, and she was just hearing different views of the events, and somehow it got all mixed in? She didn't really know...and she couldn't decide either, a part of her went with Axel, then another went with Marluxia. Obviously, one had to be telling the real, real truth, and she couldn't even figure it out herself because she was being used in all these events. Thinking this over more carefully, she felt a headache start to rise, and she sighed, not...able to...understand, exactly. Then what happend with the genie and how was it used? "Larxene, I suggest you don't listen to him, he's obviously spitting more lies," Marluxia said darkly as he came over from his spot, apparently aware of the certain turn of events and not liking it. It seemed that the wish to make her love him didn't work enough to fully spell in Larxene to believe every word he said, or else she wouldn't be doubting, so he had to take manners in his own hands. He honestly didn't know Axel would go that far, and depended on the fact that he left her without the truth back when he confronted them, but now he was earnestly getting in the way, and he would not allow it. Larxene was his, and that would be how it remains. Placing a hand on the blonde's shoulder softly, he looked down at her sternly, but with a pleading look, "You can't really believe this distrustful rat, can you? We never know what he is thinking, and he just might be just pulling your leg even more. I know what I saw, he confronted me, and didn't care, and I saved you. You're thinking that I would lie to you about this? Larxene, are you actually going to believe him over the one you love and have feelings for? I'm not lying to you! Think about this rationally..." He made himself so a bit desperate and hopeless, just to add flavor, however, he gave a dangerous glare at Axel from the corner of his eyes in a threat.
OOC: Lol xP, you get triple :glomp: for glomping back :3. Guess I made another buddy :P. And *wince* exams. Good luck with that, and see you tomorrow ^^. Larxene had also somehow waited for him to ignore her, not get off, and in fact, kiss her anyway, but that was scrapped as well as after a long while, he finally rolled over. All the closeness, his warmth, his scent, his lips, and any other part of his body went with it, and her eyes turned downcast for a second at the loss. She had been thinking the kiss was possible again, as he stayed on top of her for more of awhile, everything close, and everything just right for him to clash his lips with hers, but he didn't bother. Axel probably didn't even want it, honestly, it was maybe just all her and her desire for him, and he was just playing with her mind again. Figures. She would like to believe otherwise from the look in his eyes and the change of expression, but other than that, nothing said he had wanted to kiss her...the whole moment hinted it, but still...she felt inferior. For some strange reason, that thought bothered her...and not in the annoyed way, but more...unworthy? Unattractive?....Hurt? Larxene chuckled slightly at that notion, finding it impossible, but the sudden gloom that filed her now didn't leave. Staring at the ceiling of the jet for a while, her eyebrows a little creased while she frowned deeply, she made her way to stand up. Getting to her feet, she didn't say nor looked at Axel in any way, shape, or form as she dusted off her cloak, staying silent and pretending he wasn't there, until she just stomped off back to her seat quickly, leaving him to take care of the cuts he had. She bumped into Vexen and pushed through him roughly as she passed by, and Roxas wisely got out of the way. She didn't know why she was so upset and...and...she didn't know, but she felt like hitting something. Reaching into her aisle, and getting back into her seat, she slammed herself down her cushioned chair, taking a sharp breath, her quivering blue eyes glaring at the window once more the minute she landed. Larxene rubbed her arms with her hands gently as she raised her legs up, placing them in a comfortable position as she appeared to cuddle herself in a small box, watching into the distance. She probably made a fool of herself, and he was perhaps laughing it off in his mind. Never again...
OOC: Aww *huggles Axel* She better be beautiful xP, she's my favortie female character. Not simply Org. member, KH female character in all xP. I think she was much deeper than portrayed to be, I got that more from her death. That is a gorgeous fanart though. Thinking that there wasn't anything else to hide concerning her remark, he simply went to sit down across the seat from her, that with her snarl, he noticed she didn't like. Well, she had to deal with it for now, but how to get her to open up? Just by him coming here he could see she already placed a wall between him and her, it wasn't like he could take the "get to the point" approach as he did with Axel. Watching as she finally lifted her head up, just to eye him boredly, she saw that signs of her spilling tears were nonexistant, but he was positive he saw them. "Why are you here?" Larxene asked again, a bit miffed at the fact that he had interrupted her alone time and peace. She had still wanted to go over a few things in her mind, but unfortunately, she couldn't now. What was it Zexion of all people wanted to do with her? He never bothered with the neophytes. Whatever it was, she wasn't going to give it to him. "I just wanted you to answer one question, is all, that peeked my interest when I saw your...wet eyes," Zexion began, going into the bit of honesty direction instead of constant questioning. All he needed was her thoughts about feelings, and if it turns out to be successful, it would finally prove the hypothesis that she was afraid of something, and is running away from it in turn. That's the only connection he could make concerning her and Axel, and the way she acts. Not to mention, it was mostly because she didn't have any trouble following her emotions before. Zexion didn't know her well, but he had been aware of that. Of course, there was also a chance he was wrong, but that was a 1% out of the 99 that could happen. Though with the comment he made, he could figuratively see another wall and shield build up in her eyes. Damn, she was difficult. "Okay then, if you won't answer the question, I'll tell you, as I am a researcher on hearts." He saw her sigh with impatience, and with a irritated look to say if he was kidding. Zexion simply shook his head, wanting her to understand more on the Nobody, though he was suspicious that it was more than the understanding of it. "Just listen, it's true, that Nobodies can't feel, we don't have hearts, and we don't have emotions...but we remember what it was like. We have memories, and even if the heart is gone, some of the remnants and echoes remain, which is why we can feel so much anger and sorrow. While they might not be real feelings, or true, they are still there."
Unlike most, this wasn't really hard for me. Is horrible to just lose one, and trust me, I would be depressed for days and days, but I'd choose to go deaf. There are arts of communicating and speaking without sound. There are hand-signals, mouth reading, and even then, as someone said aboe, you're not really deaf either. There are hearing aids. To the question that if there weren't any hearing aids, I'd still choose deaf. I would not stand being blind, in fact, I love visual, I love drawings, I love seeing characters, I love to see what I write, I would like to remain seenng my loved ones and my future grandchildren than simply not seeing them at all, despite your other senses heigtening for the loss of the other. I prefer not to hear, is more smoother that way. The only thing that would be the down is the music, which I like to listen to, but otherwise... Deaf.
