I think all of them did a great job, especially with Xion. The only thing i didn't like was DW-Roxas voice in-battle, i mean, he should sound more enraged while attacking.
Are you sure you've tried all gears? If so, try un-equipping your current gear. Maybe that's his gearless weapon.
Just to say, in case he means immunity to magic, it won't. The Ring just gives immunity to the Element status, as in freeze, burn, etc. Unless they changed it on the US version.
NP Every playable character you fight in a mission has a Anti version in it's place when play that mission in mission mode.
Xion for sure is the best one. In fact, i'm fighting her again ATM, well, not really, already beat, just hearing the BGM... Going all-out on Debris Flow/Dust Flier is also cool until you die, otherwise it's pretty boring. About Sora, regardless of same base stats he has his own weapons weapons(Thus, diferent boosts from them), his own combos and his own limit. Roxas and Xion i can understand, hell, there's no diference between them besides Dual Wield form Roxas, but i guess that just for the case two people wanna play with the same combos and things from story mode in multiplayer.
Apparently, 3.73 theme doesn't load the rainbow, maybe thats why you don't see it.
Well, i could give you mine with Sora and Mickey unlocked, all missions cleared obliviously, and about half Challenges and Missions from mission mode cleared.

1 - You had two cards in your hand, one being a magic you used before Dark Magician of Chaos was summoned, which would be either PoG or MD, and you couldn't use PoG because of your own SpellCaster field card, unless you summoned a Spellcasters first. 2 - Ra counts(And is) a tribute summon in that case, so you can't summon Silent magician later. 3 - You can only send your life points to Ra when he's special summoned, so he would only have 4600 Atk/Def. Either way i'll be gone tomorrow, and won't come back until Saturday because i got a low grade, and if you do a legal move by tomorrow you'll win in the end.
