Macs in general are good. Vista has had a pretty bad history with doing well... You shouldn't buy laptops based on the games they can play. Its not very smart to make a decision based on one thing they can do. I wouldnt buy a mac if I really liked a pc just because macs had dashboard or widgets.

Vaio's are absolutely terrible. Don't get a Dell. Mine fell apart literally in a matter of 5 months. I would type and all the sudden the Z key would fall off...then the spacebar...etc. The screws holding the screen together came loose... Get a MacBook :'D. Kinda expensive, but worth it. Also if you're a college student you get a free ipod touch.

Don't sweat it man. Relax and you should do fine, most of the math/reading is stuff you've learned years before. The PSAT and SAT are all about tricking you, even if you're staring the answer directly in the face. Be calm and you should do well. With that being said, remember the PSAT stands for PRACTICE SAT. You can get scholarships if you do well but in the end its just to help you see what's on the real deal, so dont fret.
