They just used boosts and Good equipments. But don't worry about stats,you can beat Terra already,since you surely have Second Chance and Once More. Just follow their strategies and learn to dodge and block Terra attacks, you'll beat him in no time.

Party members are useless most of time. Just look at the damage they do to big enemies like Beserker,completely useless. Donald is kinda usefull sometimes,because his limits make you invincible and you can still walk hile he's using it,but i rather just take the combo and cast cureafter,or spam reflect. Goofy doesn't do anything,he just stays there,looking at you. Mickey wouldn't help you in most bosses,since his atatcks can trigger their counters,and compared to yours,the damage he does is crap(Unlike the other guests like Cloud(Using Omnislash) and Tifa,who can take out a enemy HP bar to half in 4 secs). Roxas......well,i like him,but unless he had a cool limit and cure he would suck like the others. Riku is the only party member that i would even want to use,since he can cast Cure really quick,i mean like,he can cast it three times in a row,and still have MP left. And he also doesn't die easily,so,my vote goes for him.
Yeah,because it grants you complete immunity to 99% of his attacks...
Actually,itcan't have any other Action ability except for Guard. Because he'll T-stance when using attacks that you obtain later in-game.
Just to add,some effects are: Xemnas : After you take a hit from a enemy card attack,the other hits don't affect you. Xigbar : All Projectles(I don't know how to spell it...) are powered up. Xaldin : A Barrier of Wind surrounds you,and if you touch a enemy when he's not playing a card,he'll take dmaage(Great to use with some sleights,specially Lethal Frame) Vexen : Revive with Half HP after you die Lexaeus : Finishers can one-hit kill enemies and stun bosses Zexion : Attacks can confuse enemies,Bosses aren't affected Saix : Everytime you use a attack card,it power goes up(I think it doubles everytime you use a attack card),but if you get card borken the damage get's back to normal. Axel :You can attack even while taking damage. Demyx : Boosts Water/Ice Cards and sleights power. Luxord : Your Cards aways break enemies's.
I pic the worls i like best in the set of cards for the last,so i can do some grinding on it. The others are ramdom.

Stay Away from him on the beginning,and everytime you need to move,use a dodge roll to do it. Begin using Maleficent enemy card(Or use Guard armor gor more ranged attacks),and use only your highest value cards on him,breaking as much as possible. After you enter D mode,use the Power Wild enemy card,and unleash some Dark Firagas and (don't remember if possible in this version)a Dark Aura. After you used all your sleights,keep doing some two hit combos on him(If you didn't use Maleficent enemy card,use it now),while in D Mode of course,because in most bosses,the second hit of Riku attack causes Paralize effect.
It's like,a flag mod in KH1 or something.
Magic at first,everyone uses Cure when they begin to play the game. Then on the second run i used Summons just tosee how they were. Then on FM,after i learned Combo Master,Reflect became the most usefull thing ever,since i could attack after using it once,and Reflect,Attack,Relect,Attack,Reflect Finisher,Finisher combo is awesome.
