I think everyone goes through this "awkward" phase in life. You are simply at a poing where your old friends are taking interests in other things than your self. I know it's hard losing those old friends, but the time has come to make new ones and it's these adolecent bonds that tend end up being concrete. I still talk to most my Jr. high and HS friends yet I don't really talk to any of my elementry school friends with the exeption of two.

Ugh! Parents fighting is quite awful. I know it's hard to do, but the next time this happens you have got to let them know how it is affecting you. If that fails, just wait it out with music or TV. I can't stand to see parents fight. Sometimes it makes me greatful that I only lived with my mom.

Buying a punching bag will help. Holding in all that pent up anger and sorrow will only bring about destructive behavior. Sooner or later you'll get over it. Trust me, it's not the end of the world.

I beg to differ, Mr. Drizzle! Though I do agree that both parties are far from perfect. I do believe tax cuts for the rich aren't going to help. You want to see what the McCain bottem line is? Here's the gist of it: Despite his earlier opposition, he now wants to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. Price tag: more than $2 trillion over 10 years. He wants to repeal the alternative minimum tax. Price tag: "up to $2 trillion" according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP). He wants to keep the war going ad infinitum, at a cost of between $100 billion and $150 billion per year, according to CBO estimates.
