*checks your age* That's too bad then. Because there's a very good chance that things will change. And what's more, there's a very good chance that you will get used to it in due time. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. Oh, and your mom's priority change is only temporary too. She's fallen in love again, gets to know the new guy better, etc. I'm not saying that that justifies her actions at all. She should give you more attention, definitely. But what I'm saying is that that too will change. Just give it some time.
The subconscious recalls vague memories and combines them, or warps them or whatever. That's basically all there is to it. No, we can't see the future through dreams or through anything else (yet?).
