The resounding cheers that resonated around them after their victory lead to a nice feeling of accomplishment. He revel in it all for a few moments, then proceeded to check on his partner to see how she was doing. "You feeling better now that this is over?" Just has Kel had said that, Tron had spoken up about Sark doing not honorable. That was when he noticed that vessel in the sky slowly flying off. Figures that he'd try something to avoid losing all this power. Kel returned to his light cycle and headed off in the direction that Sark was heading off in.

The sounds of another light cycle approaching him brought about another wave of concern that washed over him. Given that there was already two members of Team SARK chasing after him, his first assumption was that a third member had gone after him as well. If that was the case, Kel wasn't sure if that meant that yet another one had chosen to go after him or they changed target to him after derezzing one of their teammates. At that thought Kel hoped that it was the former that had occurred and not the latter. The issue of there being three light cycles heading his way didn't change though. Fortunately it turned out to be Aislinn who had caught up to him and not another Team SARK member. With the two of them this situation that he found himself in became a lot easier to manage. "Right." Kel nodded before waiting for her signal. When her countdown had ended the two partners had gone their separate ways, Kel left and Aislinn right. The latter had managed to catch Xara off guard, resulting in her crashing right into the trail in front of her. One down, one more to go and Noroz hadn't fallen for such a trick.

The data copy was still hot on his trail despite the sudden turn which bugged Kel just a bit. Both the persistence that he had and the lack of what he actually remembered about Noroz. He'd only known him through all of Deep Jungle, after that he vanished after going to some other world while he was in Nottingham, which also had a fair share of people appear and not leave by the time Kel himself had actually gotten out. Thinking about that now it was actually pretty depressing given the amount of times that it had happened. Not much recently, which was good. The loud sound of an engine brought Kel back to the match at hand. Still needed to deal with Noroz as he gained on him once again. Since memories of how he fought to find an weakness was out, especially since he mainly Noroz being fast this explaining how he was able to keep up with him. The easy way out of this was to use this to his advantage. Up ahead there looked to be an obstacle up ahead of them, a large wall to be exact. Looming over them as they sped closer and closer to it.

This gave Kel an idea, a risky one, but one that could work nonetheless. Being a fair ways away from the wall, he sped up wth the hopes that his opponent would do the same. His hopes were right as Noroz did speed up in an effort to over take him. This prompted a back and forth between the two to gain speed and while Noroz was doing so to overtake Kel, Kel was doing so as part of his plan which was still working perfectly. The wall was getting closer and closer with both racers having a very impromptu drag race with the wall being the finish line. Noroz had started to take the lead between the two however it wasn't enough for him to make a sharp turn and instantly cut Kel off. The seconds that they were away from the wall might as well have been minutes and those minutes into hours. Both the encroaching wall and Noroz's light cycle that continued to slowly get further and further ahead of Kel. Things started to look grim when suddenly made a sharp turn left, away from both the wall and Noroz. The latter stayed true to their drag race and kept driving straight and as well all know. Dragsters can't turn. The data copy crashed head first into the wall at, causing both itself and the rider to digitize. Part of him felt bad for this, but it was still a data copy and not the real thing. What he needed to do now was regroup with the others to see how they were doing.

Everyone had seemingly picked their own opponent for them face off against. He supposed that he could go up against Noroz, he didn't fully remember how he fought, but only so much of that could transfer to riding a light cycle. The opposing foe had a similar idea for he had pulled up right next to Kel as he raced down the track. The two competitors simply raced against one anther in a attempt to gain more speed so that they could pull ahead. Drafting would be an easier way of going about that, but those light trails behind their light cycles meant certain death of if they were to fall behind by the slightest second. Probably because of either he had more experience with this being a copy made for this kind of thing or just the general lack of skill that Kel still had in this whole thing. Either way Noroz was slowly starting to pull ahead. Fortunately not enough for it to be a concern about the light trail behind them. Kel attempted to speed up his own light cycle, but that only amounted to delayed the rate that Noroz pulled ahead of him. The light trail was being more and more of an issue and that wouldn't be the only thing that Kel would have to worry about.

Right across from him and heading in his direction at a high speed was another member of Team SARK, Xara to be exact. The two data copies had apparently chosen to team up against him for this run. That was both unfair and typical that his luck would end with him having deal with something like that. He he kept going straight then there would either be a head on collision or Xara would cut away at the last second, leaving him to crash into the light trail she left behind. Neither options sounded good to him as they both resulted in his demise. Time was running out before the impromptu game of chicken came to end and really there was only thing that that Kel could do that would result in the best course action as well as not leading to his end. Right as it looked looked like the two competitors were going to crash, Kel took a sharp right turn and rode off in that direction. His assumption was correct with Xara turning for the little data copy practically turned at the same time he did.

That just left Noroz. Hopefully he was derezzed in the sharp turn that Xara and himself had done. Kel glanced backwards and saw that that wasn't the case at all. Noroz had continued to ride straight right until the light trail form Xara's light cycle had faded and made a right turn of his own. Both of the copies were still hot on his trail and gaining speed quickly. The situation that he was currently in still wasn't looking any better for him. "Come on, can't you give a guy a break!" In response to his pleas, Xara angrily shook his fist at him whereas Noroz silently sped up. Figures as much. If they were this determined to to catch him, he would have to try and use that to his advantage. With one being on each side of him, trying to cause them to take out each other would require a whole lot of turns and such that A) He didn't think he had the time for and B) could end with him crashing if he did it wrong. Another glance behind him was made and showed that Noroz was the closer one to him. Deciding that it would be best to deal with him first, Kel took a sharp left turn in an attempt to cut off his path.

Chrono's assault continued by taking care of two of smaller heartless that had approached him. They would be here forever if they stayed here trying to defeat each and every single heartless that was here before making a break for the house. In that regard Chrono did agree with what Cerdic had said. That was the only thing that he did agree with however. Personally given how large and slow that the Darkside was, he figured that they would be able to easily get past it after cutting a path to the house. When he went on and attacked it by himself, there was little more that he could do other than to follow behind him when the other fist had made contact with the ground. Chrono struck at it as many times as he could behind it was raised up, at which point he backed away and kept an eye on both the Darkside and any stray heartless that might try to sneak up on him.

Vice and Lazuli attacked after being burned by the fire witch. The one downside about have close range weapons was the fact that it was hard to get close to your opponent because of the wall of fire that both protected and harm them. That was when the two remembered that both their weapons had gun forms and thus they switched to them and unleashed a storm of bullets and grenades.

Zephyr certainly didn't have any traits that would be the most helpful in information gather, the first thing that he figured he could do was to eavesdrop. Not the most of helpful abilities for this situation, but it would have to do. "I'll find a way to manage" Was what he said to Dylan before heading off. If he actually was going to go through with his plan of eavesdropping then first thing that he should do is to find a place where he can do so without looking suspicious.

It was uncomfortable being made to stand against his former allies. Each one of which he had fond memories of for the most part. At the very least the few times that he did interact with them were good as opposed to being something that he didn't want to recall. This was something that he had to do though, this was a life or death situation for them. Hikaru's words did provide some relief to him.

Copies were just copies and cared not for them. The announcer suddenly spoke, signaling the start of their race to begin. At the end of the countdown, Kel materialized his light cycle and set off.

The massive horde of heartless was imposing enough sure, but wasn't all that fazed by what he saw. Something that was made clear when his first action was to punt a shadow heartless that had gotten close to him. Hadn't even made an attempt in attacking him yet, it just happened to stop right at his feet. "Good, I could use a way to vent all this frustration." Keyblade appeared in his hand and he went to attacking the smaller heartless. Not cause Alder had said so, but unless they all were going to focus on it, who in their right mind would attack it by themselves.

The fact that the king had just straight up ignored him did irk him quite a bit. He would've been fine if the king had blatantly lied to him or at least given him some sort of response. Had it not been for the fact that he was a king, Chrono might've tried asking again. In a less friendly way of speaking. Fortunately their guide was kind enough to clue them in as to what the previous outsiders had done.

That certainly made it clear that he was much more interested in the outsiders who had come before them despite the King's lack of interest in helping them. The lack of interest was brief for laying eyes on Take's keyblade seemingly changed his attitude on them. No idea what this war he had mentioned was, but that would be another question for another time.

With the map in hand, Chrono looked over the locations listed and soon found himself the place in which he wanted to go to. The ruins. Seemed like a safe bet that the heartless would be there. At this thought, his eyes glanced over to Tinarah who was currently speaking with another guard. He was pleasantly surprised to see her doing that on her own. Chrono would still be there for her should she need him, still seeing her stry and do something on her own was a nice thing to see.

Out of the corner of his eye Lazuli noticed that one of their teammates had yet to introduced themselves. In fact, they hadn't even said a single thing since they gotten out here. Interesting, more so surprising, but also interesting. They should probably get her to talk or at the very least introduce herself so that they know what to call her and what her voice sounds like. Lazuli had intended to do just that, but was interrupted when the Fire Guardian herself had appeared.

Typically Lazuli wasn't one to let himself be intimidated by an opponent just because they were stronger than him. All that time he'd spent in the lower district of Mistral had taught him that catching people off guards increased the odds of him winning if done correctly. That didn't apply here though and staring at the flames before the two teams didn't do much to reassure him either.

The man turning into was an odd sight, odd enough to lead to a smirk forming. But it was a short lived one one the gravity of the situation kicked back in before him. Nothing more for him to do other than to make some form of attempt at keeping her busy and that's exactly what he did.

The walk to their objective was a silent one, the only voice being Lea who'd given them an update once they were close to where they were supposed to be at. He raised an eyebrow at the pillars that rose up in the distance the closer they got. It was quiet for all of a few second before a voice cut through the silence and it wasn't any of theirs.

From behind the pillar that he was prompted to hide behind, Vallus listen in to the conversation between Lea and 'Tango'. Nothing of much use was said other than the mentioning of this 'Nequa' person. She must've been a real piece of work if this guy worked with her. Still names didn't do much without any information of faces to go with them. Plus there was a much more pressing issue to deal with. Tango knew that they were all hiding behind these pillars and was baiting them into attacking him. Vallus wasn't going to take that bait til he knew just what this guy could do, but standing behind these pillars would o nothing beneficial for them.

Brynhild was much too preoccupied with gnawing on the meat of the deer to notice the smoke pillowing into the sky. This is where Arthur choose to speak to his partner. Brynhild, I'm going to need some magic. His partner looked up from the deer and towards his pact partner, noticing the arrow as well. That killed some of the proudness that he had felt at making the kill himself. A sort of glare was shot in his direction, but it looked no more than a simple pout given the tiny frame of the dragon.

What for? Even mentally the annoyed tone in his voice was still heard clearly through Arthur's head. There were two ways that Aruthr could've gone about handling this, A) shoot an arrow in the direction of the smoke or B) tell his partner to look up. Really an easy choice when they were placed side by side.

Look up. And so he did and finally saw the rising smoke. That's why.

At that point there wasn't much need for anything else to be said, Arthur simply readied himself another bow and fired it off in the direction of the smoke. This arrow being fueled by the magic of Brynhild flew much farther than normal and slowly took the shape of a see through bird that Arthur would be able to see whatever it was that it saw. Like the burning manor for example. Hmm, interesting. Too late to do anything about the fire, but not too late to try and find the cause.

When it finally came time for them to venture forward, Chrono followed behind their guide. When the 'don't look down' joke was made, he knew full well to not look down. Nothing good ever came from looking down when someone said something like that. Entering the city had Chrono start looking around to take in the scenery and noticed all of door and such being closed as they walked by. Guess they don't know what to think of us. They were still outsiders and being escorted through the city at that. All that combined probably didn't leave the best of impressions.

Finally they had reached their destination, catching a glimpse at the Princess as they did. Now they were face to face with the king himself and he certainly didn't sound pleased to any degree at seeing them.
"Our weapons are different and were made to fight the heartless here." Chrono said. Then the king had mentioned other outsiders arriving here before they did. This had intrigued him and started sense to some degree. "What did the other 'outsiders' do exactly?" As much as he would've loved to ask more questions than that right off the back, taking the slow approach was probably the better way of going about this.

The extractor had some unfinished functions? Well it was no surprised that it was something else that he didn't know, but he wondered as to what else it was supposed to do and just how was it supposed to deal with Ria. Alder did have a point though, any notes left behind would likely have those answers and this time he would be certain to read any information before something else comes and prevents him from doing so. "Let's get this over with then."
