"I don't recommend that. We don't have any advantages being in enemy territory so sticking together as a group would be better then splitting off to find the king. We just have to keep going forward and hope that the king re groups with us." Gale replied. That being said, he couldn't help but to wonder just what that tune was and why did the king have to leave because of it. There must've been something special behind it that they didn't know.
The group's movements were stopped at they came across some large wilting blue flowers shaped like bells. The supposed 'fairy wings' that were supposed to guide them were no where to be found and it was suggested that they get up on higher ground to see of that would help. Alisa thought about her recently obtained magics to see which of the three would be helpful here. Still not knowing anything about Satan soul, since it was chosen on a whim, that one was out. Transformation could be helpful, but she had zero practice with it so that crossed that one off the list. Lastly there was gravity magic, probably the simplest out of the three. "I could use my gravity magic to float us to the top." When Theodosia had arrived to give them a run down of what had happened, which included how and why the demons were summoned here and other such things. Now she was wondering why the demons were here. "Basically they wanted to help James escape becoming a spitting image of their father while sticking together." Veilen summarized, figuring that someone could fill in anything his missed/make correction to anywhere needed. "I assume that if they did place some sort of alarm, it was set up with the assumption that no one in there SMRF guys would mess up the password. Still we probably shouldn't mess with it until we at least have some clues as to what the password is." Zephyr ended his response to Alessia with a suggestion to everyone. They knew where this place was, so they could still come back later. Assuming everything would still be here if they did leave and returned later.
Still looking at some of the various books that were on the shelves in the study, Zephyr found this to be uninteresting without actually grabbing the books and looking through their contents. Part of him did want to see what was inside some of those books, but those desires were outweighed by the fact that it wouldn't be right to do so considering with Terra's doing for him. Since his options where limited anyway, he decided to move away from the shelf and lay down on the cot for now. Once situated on the cot, Zephyr directed his gaze at the ceiling. It was a plain one at that so simply staring at it served no good what so ever. Zephyr couldn't help but to sigh, maybe he should've taken some of the books he used to read back home along with him. Least that way he would have something to do right now. Oh well, it was too late the change the past now. All he could do was to move forward and deal with what was present before him. Speaking of the present, not too long after laying down on the cot, he could've sworn that he was smelling smoke. He then sat up on cot and gave the air another sniff. He was indeed smelling smoke and nearby at that. This lead Zephyr to move towards the door and look down the hall. Although it was barely visible now there was still smoke coming out the room. A closer look revealed that the room the smoke was coming from turned out to be Terra's room, in which both her and Sarah were there. "Was something burning, I smelt smoke?" Zephyr then noticed the knocked over candle. Did that start a fire here?
Gale followed behind the king as he lead them down the second wall into the city. Once his feet were on the ground, he proceeded to take a look around the area. Nothing had changed. That was probably a good thing. If they didn't know or expect that they were coming, then there wouldn't be any traps or ambushes waiting for them. They continued into the city when Gale heard a whistling, he didn't recognize the tune at all, but he did hear it. Since he didn't recognize the tune, he thought nothing of it. However shortly afterward the king had placed him in charge before heading off. The action had left Gale confused for a moment before as he tried to process what to do. The task of processing what to do could've been harder if not for A) the current task at hand and B) what the king had told him before going off. "We continue on as plan." Gale simply stated before advancing. While progressing through the walled city, Chrono had been looking around at just about everything he could rest his eyes on. To think he had simply planned on asking the king if he'd knew about his parents and now here he was in a walled off city searching for looking for Drake, the captain of the scouting legion and Veera. Quite the unexpected turn of event. An unexpected turn that he volunteered to do. With that in mind, he silently continued to follow behind Gale as leadership of the expedition was given to him.
The next person to arrive at the manor was a formally dressed kid. On his back were items of importance to him, his longsword and his umbrella he carried around with him just about everywhere he went. As for why he was dressed like this, well Lumen just felt like wearing something like it. Nothing more, nothing less. It was one of his unique traits. Just like carrying around the umbrella. Lumen followed the trail as the manor came into view. It certainly was impressive looking, that was for sure. The group that he would now be working with also came into view. He didn't recognize a single one of them and thus the first thing that came to mind for him to do was to introduce himself. So, with a wave of his hand, he spoke to those who were outside. "Hello everybody, so this is the Adventurer's Society."
Added some weaknesses to Reitan
I'll send Lumen on Darklight
Well they had managed to get the computers turned on, but all that did was give them a password protection from some group named SMRF that no one seemed to know. Not much help that was. So long as the password was there, not much could be done about the contexts of the computers. "Unless someone here knows how to hack computers, I got nothing. Though that isn't the best of ideas since there could be some sort of alarm or something on the computer in the event someone tries to bypass the code." None of his magic would help at all in this case, thus limiting most options he could think of. Something about both Cassandra's sudden appearance and wiliness to help out the demons seemed...a little bit desperate to him, but Veilen thought nothing much on that. Instead he listen to Cal's proposed game plan and simply gave a nod. To him it seemed like a a pretty good idea to start with the one who had summoned the group of demons in the first place. "Sounds like a good idea to me."

Name: Lumen Seiker Gender: Male Age: 16 Class: DIVINE KNIGHT!!!! (in training) Weapon(s): A long sword named Luxcaliber Armour: Leather Magic/incantations: Pure Magic (Otherworld) SEIGEI!!!!! (Justice) Crafting: Runic Writing Specialism: Mana Appearance: ◉ Personality: Despite his formal attire, Lumen has a carefree air to him. He prefers to do things at his own pace rather then feel rushed in his actions. That aside, he's a noble person when in comes down his beliefs and actions (at times). Usually if something doesn't sit right with him, he's likely to either intervene or involve himself in his own unique way. Origination: Haven Backstory: Lumen's early life was filled with various things being expected of him due to his lineage and while he was certainly proud of who he was descendant of, he was not fond of all the expectations. To him they were restricting his way of life, keeping him from being how he truly wanted to be. Unfortunately there wasn't much that he could do in lew of complaints since any complaints of his were met with the expectation card being thrown right at his face. Being face with his innate desire to avoid disappointment, he had little choice but to endure it. Time went on and while Lumen did gradually adjust to having all the expected placed onto his, with the help of his friends he was able to remain his carefree self and not lose sight of who he truly was.
"So clearly someone else is here then. Maybe they were researching something." They had some computers so it was a possibility. As for what they were researching there wasn't much that Zephyr could think of. Well there was who inhabited the island and the animals so it was still possible. Now where did they go and why leave in a hurry? Pretty suspicious of whoever set this all up. "Human hunters, well I guess that makes sense." Veilen said. It wasn't unreasonable for someone to to hunt things down. Now as for where he stood on the whole issue of whether to help them or leave them behind. "Not sure how good of an example undead are." That said the only experience with undead he's ever had was against Orpheus and those were without a doubt evil. The incubi on the other hand, not so much. "If they really are telling the truth, then I say we help them."
Having no idea about anything that may have been or is going on, Veilen ventured into the capital. There wasn't any particular reason for his arrival here, the capital had ended up being the closest place to him at the time, so he decided to make a quick stop here. Odds were high that he would just walk around the capital before heading off to someplace else. That said, it wasn't like he was going to make a short trip through the capital. Veilen adjusted the sling that held his weapon before walking further into the capital, looking around at his new surroundings.
Zephyr wasn't all that tired when he sat down on the cot and doing nothing but sit on it got boring real quickly, so Zephyr decided to have a little look around the study. The various books that he'd noticed had caught his interest and he was curious as to what they were all about. Whether or not he opened and read some of those books was a different story, but there was time to decide on that. Approaching the shelve the books were on, the first thing that Zephyr noticed was the number of war books that lined the shelves. Among the war books there were a few others of varying nature. Like how to run an orphanage, some notes from Terra (Though those weren't really books) and war medals. "Her husband must've been pretty well respected." Zephyr remarked, looking at the medals.
"Those nerves should hopefully pass soon." Gale said, though it wasn't like he didn't understand the feeling of being nervous in a situation like this. There were various times in the past where he'd been nervous being something was. Fortunately those times he had a friend to help in out. Now it was his turn. Gale nodded when Tessa said that they should get going and followed behind her with the rations in tow. Chrono also headed towards where the king was, just in case that wasn't clear in my last post.
Zephyr was busy trying to get a grasp on the whole situation instead of considering the possibility of the island being curse. Ander seemed to have the curse obsession under wraps so that part was part was fine without him. So what they had thought to be peacocks were now elephants and now they were standing in front of a trampolines that are able to hold the weight of an elephant. Just where in the world where they right now? This was certainly a lot to take in all at once, thus Zephyr decided to stop trying to make sense of all this, least in his head anyway, and listen to what some of the others had said. "If they were made to be nets, but can hold the weight of an elephant, then whatever they were trying to catch must weigh more than an elephant." If that was the case, he hoped that they didn't run into whatever it was. Both Ander and Alessia were looking around the vine trampoline for tracks or a path. Zephyr on the other hand looked at the trampoline again. There had to be some reason for them to be here other than for the sake of making things even more confusing. "I swear the more we learn, the more confusing things get." So Veilen was kinda half paying attention to what was going on in the guild hall, so when four random guys ran into the guild hall he barely noticed them. Though with all the ruckus being made over one of them kissing Cal, Veilen kinda had little choice but to pay attention to what was going on. "So what was this battle that you ran away from?" Veilen asked, someone had to after all. There was a feeling of uneasiness that Zwei has had since the start of this mission and the fact that cats were being put into the pie only strengthen that feeling. Dale had mentioning finding some guy named Turpin. "So where do we find Turpin then?" Since it was likely that they were going to follow behind Elivana, Alisa was silent as she listened to what the group was told about the current situation befalling the fairies. If healing them with magic didn't work then whatever was ailing them was pretty problematic then. "We'll protect you." Alisa said. (THis is where Mok ends this post due to lack of knowing what to post)
The week on the boat for Zephyr was spent with him looking out to sea while occasionally having a black flame appear in his hand. For someone who's always traveled by foot, this was quite the new experience for him. Plus the seas were relatively calm which made his action of staring at it all the better. The group had arrived on land and thus they could start looking around. First it was suggested that they spilt up, to which Aoki had suggested going to the peninsula. Thus the group ended up going that way. So much for spilting up. Also Beucette had a freak out over something, not to sure what though. "I can try." Zephyr approached the fire pit and examined it. He begun to compare what he saw there to what he remembered seeing when he'd magically burned some. "The fire doesn't look like it was made with magic." He said, having reached his verdict. Taking into account the spears and the none magically made fire pit, maybe something tribal had occurred here, like a sacrifice or something. While a possibility, it didn't account for the lack of human footprints and the bird footprints that were found. So maybe they were eating instead, still didn't explain the lack of human footprints. "Maybe whatever was cooking here attracted some unwanted attention and whoever was here had to leave in a hurry." Zephyr guess, which at this point was nothing more than a shot in the dark.
Zephyr had chosen to take option 3 during the whole incident with Operator and stay out of it. It was a preferences of his to stay out of thing that had nothing to do with him, unless it fell into one of the exception categories. In which case he would get involved in whatever it was. That wasn't the case this time so he left it up to Tessa and Alexis, who seemed to have it under control to the point where everyone had calmed down. Thus Zephyr sighed as he continued to wait.
Well that's one less thing to worry about. Kel thought to himself. Karina did have a point though, electric shock was probably one of the least painful things that could've happened to her and this is coming from the guy who's gotten the crap kicked out him by a jaguar, floating suit of armor, a hun and his stupid bird, a shape shifting witch, Nequa , as well as stabbed in the back by a mass combination of behemoths. So yeah, electrical shock, not the worse thing that could happen. When Kross had shouldered past him, Kel turned his head in the direction he was walking before turning back to Karina. Kross had been in some sort of mood for quite sometime now and Kel wasn't sure what the cause was. "If you really are alright, then you don't quite to be this far away from the others." Once again Kel wasn't expecting her to completely listen to him, but it was worth a shot.
The next spirit that was summoned was a man wearing a goat head and it wasn't the head of an actual goat. More like a cheap costume head you'd find in some store for cheap. That was certainly an odd looking spirit. Cal in response summoned another spirit, a giant snake to be exact. One that pretty much took up a fair amount of the guild hall. Why would she summon something like that in this enclosed space he was sure, but fortunately it was shrunken down to the size of a cobra. That wasn't something that you think one could easily top like Cal was asking, didn't help that the first key had tried to demonstrate had done nothing. His next key had make quick work of the lamp and the table that the lamp once sat on. That followed by the sand soldiers Ra had called forth was interesting to say the least. "A broken key? Did it run out of magic or something?" Veilen question upon hearing what Thomas had said.
