rose started to tear up.
"you...you can't go...you just got...here."

vance wrapped his arms around her and gave rose a kiss on the lips.
"i have to. i'll be back soon dont worry."
he let her go and turned to walk over to ren.
"be nice to her all right? i'll send cloud for you soon."
vance ruffled ren's hair then walked out the door.

 

"why can't i fight?..." Ren muttered

 

rose wiped her face and then looked at ren.
"would you like something to eat?"
she looked down at the floor where the pot had fallen a second time.

vance ran back to the camp as fast as he could, not wanting anyone else to be hurt when he got there.

 

Ren smiled. "if you don't mind."

 

rose smiled back at him, she liked the company.
she picked up the pot and set it on the stove so she could clean the floor.
"the bathroom is around the corner, why don't you go wash up."
rose pointed to a room down the hall.
she then grabbed a rag to clean the floor and added some more vegetables to try and salvage the stew.

 

Ren went to the bathroom and washed up.

 

rose pulled out some dishes and set the small table.
she then poured the stew into the bowls she had set out.

vance entered the camp and hurried over to where the fight was.

 

Ren sat at the table, but didn't eat

 

rose looked at him.
"what's wrong? my cooking isn't that bad. vance always seemed to like it....unless he was just being nice and lied to me about it."
she internally cursed him.
"come now. the stew will get cold if you don't eat."

 

"sorry. i'm just worried..." he started eating

 

rose looked at him, sincerity filled her eyes.
"i understand."
she stared at the door for a moment before looking back at him.
"i'm worried every waking moment, and even a lot of times in my sleep...if i sleep."
she took a sip of her stew before speaking again.
"it's because you're not there, right? it's not just vance i worry about either, sitting here fills me with fear because i never know when i'll be brought news about someone else getting hurt...or worse...."
she sighed a sigh of grief.
"there's nothing you can do right now though, so just keep eating."
rose continued to eat more of her stew.

 

"i wish they'd let me fight for once..." Ren sighed. "funny thing is.... i'm SOLDIER, First Class.... but when Sephiroth began fighting, i was frozen with fear..."

 

Llednar was on his knees and and elbows and felt a strange darkness.... not one he controlled "what.... are.... I.... cant..... STOP THIS!!!!" he yelled, he was completely blind and darkness covered him as he attempted to stand up

 

rose gave him an understanding smile.
"there's no reason someone your age should have to fight, or even want to. just give it more time and you'll be fine."
she finished her stew and then brought her dishes to the sink.
"would you like any more?"

vance ran up to llednar with his pistol at the ready.
he shook him.
"hey man are you okay?"
his gaze flashed to sephiroth and then back.

 

OOC: i'm so lost...Recp please?

 

{ooc: vance to ren bak 2 his house, cloud is unconscious, sephiroth and llednar were fighting and now llednar has like no control over his body and is like temporarily blind and w/e and now vance is back over to him to try and help}

yuffie watched all that was going on. She the looked at the sky.

 

vance shook llednar trying to get him to respond.
"hey, wut's wrong?"
he then looked up at sephiroth and shot off another round of bullets from his pistol.

 

"he won't be fine i'm afraid." Sephiroth smirked
Ren smiled. "no thanks. i'm fine"
OOC: Sephiroth's going to be really fun to play now. i have a list of his abilities

rose smiled at ren.
"all right. just put your dishes in the sink when you're done."
she walked off into another room to get some clean sheets.

vance reloaded his gun to shoot at sephiroth again.
"stop what you're doing to him RIGHT now!"
