Sorry if there's already a thread on her, but I searched for the thread, and didn't find a single one. *shrug* Britt Nicole is an awesome artist, singing Christian related music. She has recently jump-started her music career and has had 5 singles in 2007, "You", "When She Cries", "Holiday", "Set the World On Fire", and "Believe." I heard her at my State Fair when I went with my bff and stopped to listen to her AHMAZIN' voice just when we walked in. When we left to walk around, my bff had her sister text us her name so I could download her songs. I was addicted after listening to her songs "Ready" and "Believe". This girl is talented, no doubt. My favorites are "Believe", "When She Cries", "Ready", and "Don't Worry Now." You guys should take a few minutes of your time and listen to her. She's great, and I'm now listening to her songs over and over again on my iTunes. XD
I. Love. Her. I almost made a topic about her today. xD She is fantastic and all of her songs have a great message. She is a great example for young Christian girls everywhere, and you can obviously see that she using her career for God, not for glory. You saw her live? Or was the song just being played over a loud speaker? I would love to see her live. The first time I heard her was on the WOW Hits 2008 back in November, I think. When I heard "Set the World on Fire", I just had to get the CD. You're right, she has a lot of talent. My favorite songs would have to be "When She Cries", "Believe", "Ready", "Don't Worry Now", and "World That Breaks". They all have a strong message that reminds me of something that has happened in my life, and I guess that's why I like them so much. "Holiday" is a good song too; it's very energetic.
Yes, I saw her LIVE. She was amazing. =D It was a lot of fun. I've never listened to "Set the World on Fire." Is it really good? Many of my same faves. "World That Breaks" is an....okay song. I'm not as into it as "Believe" and "When She Cries." But, you're right. They're relatable and inspirational.
...I'm jealous. She doesn't come anywhere near where I live. >.< It's an okay song; I think what I liked about the song was the sound of her voice. It's beautiful. "When She Cries" and "Believe" are definately on the top of my list. I think the reason why I love "World That Breaks" so much is because it hits so close to home. All of her songs are fantastic, really.
She is so amazing, I love her! I just got her cd a few weeks ago. I didn't think I would like it too much; I had heard some of it and it sounded pretty poppy to me, and I'm not a big fan of pop. But I was wrong. She is so so talented and her music is addictive. I love "Believe", "Ready", "World That Breaks", "When She Cries", and "Don't Worry Now". Especially the last song. I don't know why, but it really speaks to me. It's about divorce, but it fits me pretty well even though my parents are together.Like in the chorus: "When you feel like you are all alone like your best friend up and gone Don't Worry Now Don't Worry Now I've been there, yeah, I know how it feels to wonder if love is even real Don't worry now Don't worry now It's going to be OK." Well, my best friend did just leave me one day. That was two years ago, and I finally feel like I'm over it. She was the one friend I had. And now, looking back, I can see that everything is ok now. I'm a stronger person and if I had the chance to go back and change what happened, I don't think I would. Everything happens for a reason. So anyway, yes, I love Britt Nicole.
We have the same favorites! xD Anyways, I think that's why I love "Don't Worry Now" as well. It hits very close to home, since my mom left my dad when I was only two, and even though I didn't know what was going on, he just kept on saying "Don't Worry." It just speaks to me and relates to my life so well. Like I said before, she is a great example for all young Christian girls everywhere.
Aww, I'm sorry. That's really sad. She is an awesome example. I can't wait to see what she does in the future; I expect great things from her! She kind of reminds me of Krystal Meyers for some reason, only a lot better. And I think that she'll stick to her christian music, unlike Krystal who seems to have changed her message with her upcoming album. But yeah, back on topic, Britt Nicole is going to be around for a while, at least, I hope so!
