Hey guys I have a suggestion. This **** happened while I was playing some Dragon Age and missed out, so Im not gonna bother reading all the ****. But about the name thing.


How about if we don't come up with a new name and just keep it Premium?

 

Because members need something to differentiate between the prems and the nobles.
Not like the name really matters anyway, itll just be a part of the key at the bottom of the forum page.

Serious note though, if we have mods and super mods why cant we have prems and super prems?

 

Eh I dunno....

I remember how people would complain about hitting premium and going "That's all?" I mean we get some nice stuff, but maybe all this new stuff can be a new sort of premium. Like, have it be premium.

I kind of agree, especially if we add a rep requirement, but the staff have always been very slow to change anything but the name colour of the Premiums. If you try to add requirements, they will say that it is not fair to those who have already gotten it.

The answer is who knows.

We don't know if something would work or not. Have the title Super Prems seems a bit too forced imo, but maybe if it did happen, it would work.

He is kind of right. The best hope we have of getting any of this through is convincing the staff to make a poll about it like we did with AutoPM. Changing the entire suggestion midway is a bad idea, but adding that option to the poll is not bad at all.

 

From what I understand, the staff's preliminary discussion has had positive responses.

 

Even so, they will be wary. Even if a lot of them support the idea, a poll is still a solid addition. It would gather interest and let people choose the finer points if the staff wanted to offer a couple of alternatives.

 

Suggestion:
Normal users become Premium.
Premium becomes Administrators/Moderators, depending on their rep.
Staff gets banned.

I could also tell you that I've got a profile there, and that I enjoy posting there once in the blue moon. The site itself might be pretty terrible, but they've got some good discussion going on.

 

Even I think that is a terrible idea. One should not be able to climb to power.

Though we kind of do have a system like that, one I dislike. Premium members get to apply for staff at any time while normal members only when applications are opened.
