employees + relationships = ...?

I went to a GameStop a few weeks ago with a few friends. While I was there, one of the workers was really friendly; my friends think he was flirting with me. I recall leaving and happening to turn around to talk to one of my friends and the guy was watching me, chin in his hands while he was smiling.

Now... I've gone back to that GameStop a few times, kinda hoping to see the guy. His nametag was backwards so I couldn't see his name, so I don't know it. And... I don't know, it's been nearly a month, and I haven't seen the guy again. The chances of him remembering me are slim, as are the chances of him being gay and having actually been flirting with me.

I feel kinda stupid for even hoping to meet him again and maybe have something come out of it, but... I don't know. Is it so moronic to want to go back and possibly run into him again?

 

Uh, no, not really. Why would it be?

 

Well, I mean... it was a chance meeting. I don't know for certain if the guy WAS flirting with me, and what are the odds of him even remembering me?

At least, that's what part of me thinks. I just sometimes feel like it's completely stupid to hope to see the guy again and for something good to come of it, when it was just me having bought a strategy guide and met the guy for like 5 minutes.

 

Just keep going there and see if you can see him again and pop the question whether he wanted to go out.There are alot of gays in the world so don't count your eggs before they hatch.I mean even on here i know another active member thats gay.
Just try and if it doesn't happen you've got the experiance to know not to do it the next time you encounter a situation thats like it.

Well, the thing is, remember not to make a fool of yourself. Imagine you actually asking the question and the guy freaks out because he's straight. There have to be some sort of signs, if you see him again, try to observe his body language and his mannerisms, I'm sure you don't wanna go through that kind of embarassment.

 

Yup, you need to take some risks, altho be careful with the direct questions.

 

It isn't moronic. It makes perfect sense.

 

I won't directly ask him if I see him again. I'll just make some small talk, probably. If anything, it'd wind up being one of my FRIENDS who ask him. -_-;; I don't plan to ask him.

 

no why not? you go back there if you feel like, honey, and be as confident as possible! id go for it if i were you; i met my financee at work and we've been together forever. :D you rock!

 

Well, I mean, I won't ask him straight-out if he's gay. I'll talk to him first and stuff, and if I'm lucky I'll get the courage to ask his name or even his phone number if he's friendly enough, but probably not. xD In case he ISN'T gay, I don't want to make him uncomfortable by asking.

I went again. He was there! He remembered me. Kind of XD I asked if they had the Tales of Vesperia guide, and he said that he remembered me asking last time too. My friend didn't finally ask him... she chickened out too! XD

I didn't really make small talk though -_-;; tooooo nervous. But my friend said he was looking at me when I was looking through the games. And I saw him look at me once.

Geez. I feel silly thinking like this... "Oh, he remembered I asked for the guide!"... means nothing. XD But oh well~ we'll just have to see. -crosses fingers- at least I found out his name!

I know this is total, like, necrobumping and double-posting, but I just wanted to say...

They're all happy about it. XD My friends are actually the reason I'm talking to him; one of them went into GameStop when we were at the mall and asked if he's gay and for his number ^__^;;; it was embarrassing, but... a good thing! lol.

 

xD That must of been a very fun trip to the mall.

It was a very AWKWARD trip to the mall. XD I was so embarrassed when my friend asked him! And then they decided to drag me into Victoria's Secret to force me to buy some lingerie to wear for my "new boyfriend" >__< I didn't, of course. XD

Hopefully I can get together with him for coffee (or, I should say, a drink. Coffee = gross XD) on Saturday. And thanks, Darkwatch =) lol!

And now it's come to an end. -sigh- I barely had a chance to get to know him. And I don't know why but it's affecting me a LOT...
