Wow... I am seriously having more trouble on Marluxia #2 than I did on Riku #4 (No joke, I beat him on my first try). I just can't seem to hit him at all, and by the time he's lost 3 bars, I only have 16 or so cards left and not a lot to break him with. Help please. o_o

You could go back and level up a few levels. I usually have up the Repliku card so I can stock curaga about 5 times which helps keep you alive. But you should kill those arms or scythes or whatever those things are first before you attack his body or something. I had to be like level 50 before I could beat him so don't feel bad.

it may seem tough at first but it gets easier once you beat the arms. to beat the arms easily, use Trinity Limit or a well placed Firaga Burst can easily destroy most of their health. Omnislash is a good sleight to use as well. as for enemy cards, use Riku's card, use Marluxia's card (especially if you're planning on taking out the arms). you might also want to include an Elixir card so that the cards issue doesn't come up later. though it might be hard to pull off using an Elixir since Marluxia's deck is unlimited at this point, but if you have a certain enemy card (i forget which one) you can use it without fear.

once his arms are dead, he'll start rushing at you a bunch of times. this part is fairly easy. when he comes back into the arena to charge at you, card break when he is actually ON the arena so that you can attack him.

when he jumps up to fall on the floor, you have to card break him or else you'll get damaged.

also, Ragnarok is a VERY good sleight to use in this battle but expect it to get broken a lot because of it's low value.

Chains of Firaga moves and constant Omnislashes help. Make sure you have a Mega-Ether with you or else it won't help too much. The more you fight him, the quicker you realize that you have to make the battle very short. Make sure you have ALOT of cards from 7-9. Cardbreak, stock cards, cardbreak using the stocked cards. Easy as that.

LIES! ALL LIES! Listen to me just get the highest numbered cards and just put them in your deck with your zeros at the back and your cures just before that then just beat the living s*** out of marluxia while dodging and breaking his attacks. Thats how I did it first try. Riku 4 I struggled with...Alot.

Just use a deck of as many cards as you can like this:

    0 9 8 0 9 8 0 9 8 etc..

as many as you have, doesn't matter what type, just in that order and only those except, at the end, a bunch of Cures.

Moving this to the help area since it goes more there. As others said, load up high number cards and 0s. The Riku card helps too. I just spammed him with 0 cards and such and he was simple.

Make sure you have high # cards,0's, and cure cards. The Vexen card also helps as well.

Well, I figured out why this was so hard. Right after posting this, I looked at my deck and found out I had ONE cure card in my deck. I took away one of my Lethal Flames (It does work on the arms if you're close and you break his card), and added two cure cards, and, well, beat him the first try. Then I died on the next fight (DAMN YOU OMNI-LASER AT WORST TIME), but whatever, beat the entire thing on my second try.

I have now beaten Riku's story as well (Overpowered 9-9-9 sleight ftw). Thank you for the advice anyway. I let this thread go on a while, didn't I? ^_^

personally, I hate big decks. I usually build small decks with largely 7s, 8s, 9s, and 0s. Maybe a 6 if it fits.

Use mostly 7 or higher Oathkeepers (or stronger) keyblades when you get to Riku (finish up a combo with Wishing Lamp if you can). Combos with these cards will dish damage QUICKLY.
Takes time but that's how I built the deck that beat Riku 4... and pretty much the rest of the game (proud mode). Prolly only 8 or 9 attack cards, a row of cures, 4-5 0s (of any type), and the regular enemy cards (Vexen, Oogie Boogie, Jafar(? not sure if he still fit)
I thought Marluxia was pretty easy compared to Riku 4. That said, i leveled up quite a bit in stupid Destiny Islands before Riku 4.

i use cards in a breaking order i call it like 0 4 9... 0 to break enemys card a low second card since you can play your last finisher before the boss has a chance to break the 2nd card and a high finisher like wishing lamp or star seeker. i use that on all bosses and it worked for me.
