i would have celebratedit (i am brit after all) but we had too much vegetation in our area and wouldve started a massive fire. we did fireworks though. also, the bonfire tradition is a tradition because:
the way they executed Fawkes was by tying him to a pole and setting a fire around him. he died, and it has been celebrated that way ever since

I really want to have a bonfire with my friends, but.. I'mma be shipped off to my uncle's house for fireworks. >: Oh well, at least they always have nice food, a large selection of video games and my auntie's hawt brother to look forward to.

Bleh. Setting fireworks off at your own home is lame :\

I'll be going to the park, which (used to) have like.. a 20ft bonfire especially for the event. Sadly tis not there anymore, for whichever reason. But they do however set off those hugeassed fireworks that you can't buy in shops. And there's rides and candy floss stalls there too :33 Fireworks then amusements.. and MAYBE some fireworks at home after that.

Me and my mates usually create our own bonfires, as well xD Not just on the night, on the nights leading up to it. We put peoples wheelie-bins in them, and aerosol cans xD BOOOOM.

Meh, I don't really like public displays. I'd prolly go if a local one had rides and candy floss though. Dx

People's wheelie bins.. xD That's harsh. Though one year, me and my friends had the most epic bonfire ever. We had old christmas trees there and everything. xD Doors.. anything we could find was just chucked onto it. We stole things that were in people's skips. Good timesss.. I keep telling them that we need to do that again, but they're too lazy. >_>

I'll probably go to the show in Glasgow. Always entertaining to see the drunks stumble as fireworks scare them.

    Lithy you sad git. XD

"Guy Fawkes is the only man to have entered the Houses of Parliament with good intentions" xD

I'll probably be sitting at home watching fireworks being set off on top of Carnmoney Hill from our patio door.

My father has a bad record with fireworks =__= He put a rocket upside down in a metal bucket full of mud (by accident >_>) which then exploded. Then a Catherine Wheel we put on the bird house table thing was on too tight so didn't spin so just sat and burned the wood >.<

Chavs have been setting of fireworks for quite a while already >_>

Neds/chavs ALWAYS love to set off fireworks days before/after Guy Fawkes, it's a pain really.

I got back from my uncle's about an hour ago. Our fireworks were awesome. 8D WAAY better than the neighbour's. Every so often we'd shout over the fence, "BEAT THAT >D" lol.

XD One of the fireworks fell over and narrowly skimmed our heads and landed in a different neighbour's garden. Then it exploded.. then smoke started appearing. How fun. :3

My parents won't let us have fireworks, something to do with them being dangerous. ;P
