As a Kingdom Hearts fan I learned that I play the game in a unique way. I wanted to share my experience and then hear from the rest of you since it's interesting to hear. Being a Kingdom Hearts fan I learned that I'm very particular about playing new and old games from the series. Could it be an OCD?

    - When I play a NEW Kingdom Hearts game; I always play in proud mode. I feel I'm not a Kingdom Hearts fan if I can't claim beating the title in proud mode first. I like to go backwards from there.
    - Combat. As strange as it sounds I always play the games where I just attack and use commands that give a final blow to an enemy. I never use magic. Is that weird?
    - I enjoy leveling up and taking my time.
    - If I had to say what my deck would look like; cure, cure, hi-potion, potion and some attack commands.
    - I prefer not to use spirits or summons.
    - I have an obsession with using the action command and flowmotion.
    - My favorite enemies are the Heartless followed by the Nobodies. I find the unversed and dream eaters useless and confusing.
    - Playing Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance I enjoy playing the game in 2D. I use the 3D feature for the cutscenes.
    - I love Aerial Recovery.
    - Looking back I really never play the previous titles after completing them once. I spend a lot of time listening to the music and watching the cutscenes. I can recite everything though. I have replayed Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts II, but I haven't replayed Re:Coded, Chain of Memories, Days or even Birth by Sleep.
    - Every time I pay a Kingdom Hearts title I became very involved and emotional. It's a feeling as if I was really apart of the story. How sad is that? For a week straight I was affected by Sora and kairi's separation at the end of Kingdom Hearts I.
    - If I could decided I would always want to play as Ven or Roxas in the series.
    - Bring back Kingdom Hearts Trinity please!

At first, I started playing games from KH to BbS in Beginner (to breeze and get what I wanted; plot (sounds like blood, lol)). From KH3D henceforth, I plan on playing on Standard (I ranted KH2 was too easy (of course, I was playing in Beginner)).

I adjust my combat according to my Keyblade (I.E. I just got a Keyblade in KH3D that raises your magic stat, so I customized my deck for efficient magic attacks).

Me too. :3 Although I don't grind unless it's necessary. But other than that, I'm not progressing KH3D's plot until I get most of the treasure chests and special portals from each worlds (which can be a drag, but levels up both your character and Dream Eater).

I always, ALWAYS have to have a healing command on my deck. x3

Spirits: To raise them and receive their bonuses.
Summons: I use them when I remember they exist, lol (or when you have to unlock something with them :v).

I don't use much Action Commands, but Flowmotion makes battles flashier and faster. ;3

    Heartless: They were fun.
    Nobodies: Varied.
Unversed and Dream Eaters make their respective games feel fresh. But personally, between those two, I prefer the DEs, seeing as how they're more integrated to the plot. :v

I, on the contrary, love playing it on 3D. xx3

I rarely use it (and it's only because I rarely get knocked out by an enemy). .3.

LOL We pretty much share the same case. xD And yeah, I can remember some lines from some cutscenes, such as Saix's monologue on the intro of Days and Xemnas greeting Xion.

I don't feel the emotional, but I can appreciate what's happening, such as Sora looking for Riku after they were separated. That was kinda cute in a bromance pov. ;3

I don't give this much thought. As long as it's someone we haven't played much with, I'm okay with it.

They should, it fits with KINGDOM HEARTS III, seeing as how it'll be a trio filled game.

Everyone has gaming quirks--I can be a bit obsessive when it comes to looking for treasure chests. I'll explore and find the right path to advance, then cover every inch of the area to find any possible chests. Nothing wrong with that.
I usually play on the middle difficulty setting, so that I get a bit of a challenge but still can advance through the story without much difficulty. I do a second playthrough on the highest difficulty setting afterwards, because I feel I have a better understanding of the enemies and the gameplay at that point, and it's usually easier to get the ending unlocks.
That varies from game to game with me! I used magic quite a bit in the first game, but rarely (aside from Cure) in Kingdom Hearts II.
Same as above, I abused summons in Kingdom Hearts but rarely in Kingdom Hearts II.
I'm sure a lot of people could relate to this. =]
If they ever come out with a Kingdom Hearts Brawl-type game, I would have had no doubts about who you would main.

I do this also. I want to prove that I've mastered m favorite gaming series.

I usually like to explore all the different styles of combat. In KH1, I beat the Parasite cage with nothing but Bambi and the Fira spell. Just let the deer bounce around as my MP meter just filled itself up. While the hack and slash tactic is always fun, I like to have variety with my gameplay.

First time playing Kingdom Hearts, I didn't leave the islands until level 11...
I enjoy grinding to make sure I measure up to whatever foe faces me.

I use these more in The first game than the second. Bambi and Tinker Bell were loads of help.
The second game I mainly just enjoyed their perks and leveling them up. Stitch was my favorite since he helped defensively.

It really is fun. Defying gravity and such.

The enemies seem to decline in my opinion as well, but at least the creators try to keep things fresh.
Heartless I will always appreciate, Nobodies I find were cool as well though the game assisted you a lot with the reaction commands,
Some unversed were a little frustrating (Namely mandrakes)
Dream eaters were good allies, but aside from the bosses, I didn't feel like they made great enemies.

    3D still hurts my eyes...

The memento system helps, but if you get the chance, try looking into playing them. Coded doesn't offer much story, but if you still want to play it, go for it.

I'm glad when games do that. Momentous titles that really grasp emotion, and the music that goes with it makes that much difference.

I do this a lot. It erks me when I see something within reach that I just can't get unless I have the glide or high jump ability. :/
I'm obsessed with making sure I get every chest.

Also not on here, but I NEED to listen to the Dearly Beloved menu music for every game I play.
It's like tradition for me, and I get amped to play with that and the opening sequence.
I admire the small changes made to the track in each game.

If I'm playing a game where each chest you find is counted, I could care less. On the contrary, if those chests have valuable items (like in Final Fantasy V, where buying equipment is useless, seeing as how you get the same or better pieces from chests). An obsession of mine would be to buy items in impair numbers (I.E. three potions instead of two).

    That was my case, too.

I'm the inverse; I used summons KH2 more than in KH1.

Button mashing can become a drag. =/

I usually start in beginner or Normal just because I like to get a feel for the harder bosses so I don't epically fail fighting them on Proud

I use magic sometimes, but for the most part, it's just only normal fighting. I've yet to fight using a command deck though, so I can't say how I would fight like that

I somewhat do the same thing

I would say something like Cure, Cure, Hi-Potion, and the rest attack commands

Same here. I just find summons a waste. Although, I could also save the MP for something else.

I'll let you know how I feel once I play it

I don't really find the Unversed of Dream Eaters confusing, but it might just be that people like Heartless and Nobodies the most because they're featured in the 2 main games. I do feel like Unversed and Dream Eaters are somewhat different, but the Unversed were really just negative emotions, unlike Heartless which are darkness, and...well, I got nothing for Dream Eaters. Either way, I do find them somewhat different.

I'll probably either do that, or just do it in 3D, because I don't want to crane my neck just to get it all in 3D

It is a lovable ability, isn't it?

Scary enough, so can I. In fact, I could almost give you the timing of what music starts when, although not by song title, and the scenes I have memorized just from playing the games the first time. Although like you, I haven't played Re:Coded or Birth By Sleep, but I have played Chain of Memories and Days.

Emotional I can understand, but for me it lasts maybe like 3 minutes, if that. But I do get involved and emotional.

It would probably be the same for me, although I'd like to give Aqua a try, or even play as Riku more often. Using Darkness as a weapon is cool.

    I'm indifferent to this

I don't have any quirks when I play Kingdom Hearts. Or maybe I do, but it's been so long since I've played one, so I can't remember.,
