He smirks then steps aside as Sora passes by him.

He started sucking the marrow out of the bone.

 

He sees him getting close to end of it and dives in.
He turns around then sends a multiple blows at him.

"Se--" He was cut off as the Demon King kicks him from the back.

"Let's see... Sora wants your help to defeat Master."
He starts muttering a spell as Sora lies down on the floor.

 

"Why, for the love of Mother would I do that?"

 

"I wouldn't want to answer that but I'm sure the winner would get rid of you."
He pulls himself off the ground as Demon King continues to mutter on.

 

He chuckles. "They should know by now that they cannot simply get rid of me. I'll come back as usual."

 

The spell is finished then Sora yells painfully. He chuckles. "Give up already you are out of your league."
"N-never."
He frowns. "You are too persistent for your soul's condition. Just a little and you'll be send to oblivion."
He bends his head down low.
He smirks as he knew the answer: Sora submits to be the horse while he's the king.

"Your friend is gone." He informs him even though he already heard it from Sephiroth. "Forget this world. It is going to rot anyway."
He unlocks the handcuffs that was left of it.

 

He went back to his task of removing the marrow from the bone.

He notices Cloud didn't follow him. "What's wrong?"

 

"How am I supposed to know?"

 

"Maybe the Lord of the land has to stay on this planet."

 

He narrows his eyes. "Very funny. Just because I am stuck to the ground, doesn't mean I'm bound to this world."
He stops then turns around. "The answer is simple, since his friend is gone and replaced by a fiend's soul. He feels lost and grounded. And thus, he's not going to come up here willingly."

 

He rolls his eyes. "You really have to get over losing your friends."

 

"Everyone I care dies around me because of Shinra and darkness. Do you really think it is simple for someone like me to get over it that easily?"
He, too, rolls his eyes. "Come here Cloud."
His once mako gleam blue eyes turn to dull then flies beside Demon King.
